This book should definitely be considered as one of the best pro wrestler novels. There are so many great stories in it. It's definitely in my top 10 favorite wrestling books. I highly recommend it.

This book details the career of one of the famous tag teams in the WWF (The Killer Bees), but also covers Blair's career post and pre-WWF, along with countless road stories from the territory days. Another aspect of the book is his longtime friendship with Paul Orndorff. Blair also covers his career as a politician and his work as the head of several charities.
A lengthy read, but well worth it.

I’ve read just about every wrestling autobio/bio out there, and this one may be in my top 5. Brian has been around the business forever, and tells some great stories from the ring and the road. Hogan and Orndorff were groomsmen in his wedding!
If you are a wrestling fan this book is a must read!

As an old-school wrestling fan, I grew up knowing the name B. Brian Blair but never knowing his story. One thing that 'Truth Bee Told' does impeccably is to bring us fans and readers closer to the man himself, experiencing all of the highest highs and lowest lows of his life and career.

This book is full of humorous anecdotes (involving Brian Blair and a true who's-who of the wrestling World) and a first-hand account of the wrestling industry itself from one of the greatest and most-travelled stars from the golden era.

I struggled to put this book down once I had started and, having read many of the most-revered wrestling biographies, I can say hand-on-heart that 'Truth Bee Told' is one of the best.

A true work of art that all wrestling fans should read!

A spectacular autobiography by a wrestler I walked away greatly admiring and unexpectedly marking out for by the end. Lots of '80s guys have written autobiographies and there are usually more misses than hits, but Blair knocks it out of the park because you can tell instantly it's such a passion project for him. Warm, personable, full of stories, and doesn't leave a single morsel out of his career and life. AND all the stories were ones I've never heard before and were amazing. Blair has two books - the first is a brief instruction manual on newcomers to the business, while this one is his life, good and bad, in 450 pages. Before this, Blair was one half of a tag team to me, but this was a page-turner in every sense of the term and made me see Blair as a man who thrives on giving in the business rather than receiving. One of the best wrestling books I've read so far - just awesome.

as detailed and anecdote-filled as a wrestling autobiography can get (and i stand by that, since i've got a blurb on the back of this book). ian and brian worked to fit as much content in here as humanly possible, and i'm sure there's enough left for a 700-page director's cut.

brian's a great guy. he collaborated with me on an obituary for his good friend paul orndorff, but this book contains many more orndorff stories than the ringer article linked below:
