Here is a Top 10 list from Ann about her likes, dislikes, and oddities:

1. I despise whipped cream. There, I admitted it in writing. Let the ridiculing begin.
2. Even though I have lived as far south as Key Largo, Florida and as far north as Maine, I landed in the middle.
3. If I don't make a conscious effort not to, I will drink nothing but tea morning, noon and night. Hot tea, sweet tea, green tea––I love it all.
4. There doesn't seem to be much in life that is better than coming home to a couple of big dogs who are overjoyed to see me. My other family members usually show significantly less enthusiasm about my return.
5. Singing in my bestest, loudest voice does not make my family put on their happy faces. This includes the big, loving dogs referenced above.
6. Yes, I am aware that bestest is not a word.
7. Dorothy was right. There's no place like home.
8. All of the numerous bottles in my shower must be lined up with their labels facing out. It makes me feel a little like Julia Roberts' mean husband from the movie 'Sleeping with the Enemy,' but I can't seem to control this particular quirk.
9. I love, love, love finding a great bargain.
10. Did I mention that I hate whipped cream? It makes my stomach churn to look at it, touch it, smell it, or even think about it. Great––now I'm thinking about it. Ick!

An Enjoyable Series 💚
4.5 stars - This is a fun series and the first season was terrific! Mostly light-hearted quick reads with a bit of drama and a lovely bite of steam You can't go wrong. 😘 Oh, and characters from the His First Time series make the occasional appearances (prior reading not required but recommended because I liked that series). 💚🥳💚

Here are my reviews for each story:

Man of the Month Club: January Not All Scars Are Visible 🌟🌟🌟🌟.5
4.5 stars - Maggie and Jett definitely had their work cut out for them. Maggie has some serious self-image issues following some disfigurement from a fire at her former employer's. Jett has his own scars but they are the result of decades of emotional abuse. Together, they are broken but well matched.

I liked the forward approach Jett took but he was also able to read the room and adjust accordingly. It was also nice to see Maggie give back at the burn unit, visiting those in similar situations. It was a sweet way to cap off a rough road that had heat and heart.

This is a continuation of the His First Time series, picking up right where "His First Time: Gabe" left off. Now, if you haven't read that series yet... Do. Not. Fear. Enjoying those stories isn't a prerequisite to enjoying this story. If you have read the earlier series, you will see glimpses of many of those characters (i.e. Ciara, Evie, Adam, etc).

Man of the Month Club: February Resetting First Impressions 🌟🌟🌟🌟.5
4.5 stars - Aidan and Chelle are scorching! I love how they had prior interactions that set their opinions of one another before it all got blown out of the water. The dessert portion of their first date it hot, hard, and absolutely perfect!

There's a big bump (not that kind!) that they need to overcome. It's a bit touch and go there for a hot second but the ending is *muah* just right. 🎉💋♨💚

Man of the Month Club: March Stalkers and Secrets 🌟🌟🌟🌟.5
4.5 stars - "Saint Patrick," as Adam likes to call him, has had Ruby on his radar for some time so when fate intervenes, he makes good use of the opportunity. Things aren't all they appear for Ruby but her chemistry with Patrick is undeniable. It's a cute and steamy story (oh, the steam!) with some suspense thrown in.

And let us not forget one other thing. Charlotte, who was missing in the first two months / books but can found in all of the "His First Time" books, strikes again! 😄🐶 *woof, woof* If you've read that series, you'll recognize a few other characters, too as they all take place in the same town / places. Both series are standalone books but they do have overlapping characters and occasionally some carryover storylines. Personally, I'd recommend reading all of the stories in publication order, starting with His First Time: Ranger. They are quick easy reads with heartbreak, heat, laughs, and plenty of delightful HEAs.

Man of the Month Club: January: Bk1:
Maggie and Jett are both scarred in different ways and neither want to date. So when her friend adds Maggie to a matchmaking app she's not happy about it. Jett's cousin added him to her new matchmaking app. From the moment Jett sees Maggie he is instantly attracted to her natural beauty. This is a heartbreakingly beautiful love story between two people who find love at the right time with the right person. This is a great start to the Man of the Month Club series.
Man of the Month Club: February: Bk2:
Chelle is a news reporter and Aidan is a senator. These two are opposites but they have great chemistry together. I loved how different they were and how protective he is over her. When a picture causes a scandal they have a fake relationship that turns into so much more. Sparks are flying in this sweet and steamy short story filled with humor, drama, and a great ending.
Man of the Month Club: March: Bk3:
Ruby has a stalker so she takes a self defense class with Officer Patrick. Patrick is just the man to help Ruby with her problem and it doesn't hurt that the more time they spend together the closer they get. This is a sweet, steamy, short love story with a stalker twist and a great addition to the Man of the Month series.

Man of the Month Club Season 1 . . .

The Man of the Month Club monthly meetings become the hottest ticket in Indianapolis as word of the new matchmaking application's surprising, wildly successful pairings begins to spread. These are the first three stories of the lucky couples the app chooses in this collection of opposites attract and enemies-to-lovers romances. Below is a review of one of the stories to give you an idea of what you will find in this collection.

*** Reviewing “MAN OF THE MONTH CLUB: JANUARY” ***
Maggie was scarred by a freak accident that started a fire at her workplace. She preferred to avoid other people now, ashamed of the scars over her body and face. To her horror, she finds that she was added to a matchmaking app by her friend Ciara for Phoebe’s beta test. She was paired with Phoebe's cousin, Jett, who also hadn’t wanted to be included in the app profiles.

But when Jett enters the bar where the ladies have gathered for the matchmaking test and sees Maggie in person, his attraction was definitely not faked! She is “real”, natural, and not a made-up princess like the rest of the women. Scarring or not, she is the loveliest woman he has ever laid eyes on. Can he convince her, though, that he is seriously interested in her? Could both of them begin to heal if they can take a chance on trusting each other?

This was a good story line where Jett sees the person Maggie is and doesn’t let her scars define her. Both of them are likable characters, and the little flash of uncertainty injected into the story kept the reader’s attention to see how this played out.

Phoebe's matchmaking app is set to become the next big thing before that happens her friends are testing it out they meet monthly at Evie's bar to see who will be matched
Jan-Maggie was in a fire at her job that has left her scarred inside and out she doesn't like to be around people. To her utter horror she was entered into the dating app and she's been matched with Phoebe's cousin Jett. Jett didn't want anything to do with the dating app so when he gets to the bar and he's matched with Maggie the only woman he thought looked like a real woman. Will he be able to convince her that he's actually interested in her?
Feb-Gives us the local news reporter Chelle who gets matched by the dating app to Aidan the seriously uptight Senator. It turns out that Aidan's not as uptight as she thought but things actually get a whole lot more complicated when a topless photo of Maggie is posted on Twitter by accident.
Mar-Ruby feels like she's being watched this person knows everything about her even what clothing she wears so she decides to take a self defense class. The class is taught by Officer Patrick McDonnell who has been attracted to Ruby for awhile now. Ruby and Patrick are matched and he offers to help her practice her self defense moves and things heat up quickly between them. Will the stalker allow Ruby to have a boyfriend? You really need to read this collection of charming stories. I would recommend reading this boxset.

Phoebe has written a matchmaking app. There is an eligible bachelor to match every month.
January: Phoebe’s cousin Jett is this month’s bachelor. His match is Maggie. Maggie feels ugly on the outside due to her scars after a fire at her place of work. Jett feels ugly on the inside because of a childhood trauma. Jett is instantly attracted to Maggie but she has no idea why he would want to date her. Jett takes the time to show Maggie he is genuine with her. I enjoyed them getting to know each other.
February: Chelle is a reporter who has vehicle troubles outside the local sex shop where she was getting decorations for her friend’s bachelorette party. Aidan is the next bachelor and Chelle is his match. He’s Maggie’s brother and is attracted to Chelle. She thinks he’s uptight and boring. I enjoyed their interactions.
March: Patrick is a local police officer and the third bachelor to be matched. Ruby has a stalker and wants to learn self-defence. Ruby is Patrick’s match. Patrick helps Ruby with self-defence and trying to figure out who her stalker is. I enjoyed their getting to know each other.
I thoroughly enjoyed this set of three novellas and highly recommend this book. I am looking forward to reading the rest of the matches.

I wasn't sure at first what I'd think of this but I was so glad I chose to give these books a fair chance.
Each month a chosen man is presented and the perfect woman is matched from the club.
This seems almost like fate rather than matching but I loved how each story is somewhat connected.
I found them to contain plenty of emotion, doubt, feeling, insecurity and love.
These couples seemed absolutely perfect and these very different stories amazed me.
I was particularly moved by January's couple who both had past trauma and who nearly let it ruin their happiness.
My heart was completely broken during moments from each book but quickly it was healed by the realistic and unconditional love oozing from the pages.
A real treat for any romance fan who loves an happy ever after with twists and drama on the way to it.

I read most of these books as they came out and really enjoyed them. This set includes January, February and March

Phoebe has come up with a matchmaking app and has asked all her friends to fill out a questionnaire so she can beta test it. Each month she will choose one great man and find him the perfect match from the other questionnaires. She will introduce the two and hopefully sparks will fly.

January features Maggie who suffers because of the scars she got when she was caught in a fire. Jett is a grumpy man who likes keeping people at a distance until he sees Maggie. He will do anything to make her his but first he has to convince Maggie he is serious.

February features Chelle who is a fun-loving news reporter and Aiden who is an uptight state senator. The two keep meeting and sparks fly.

March features Ruby, a beautiful woman with a stalker and Patrick who is a tough cop. Can her help her with her stalker or is the problem?

All Standalone with no Cliffhangers.
January: Maggie and Jett. She is a recluse due to burn scares. He is a rough guy who just might have his heart melted by her.
February: Chelle and Aiden. She is a fun easy going girl. He is a serious man a Senator. Opposites attract.
March: Ruby and Patrick. She had someone watching her. He is a cop. Who is the bad guy?

Man of the Month Club: January
Both Maggie and Jett carry scars that keep them from feeling lovable. Can these two broken souls find happiness together? My heart absolutely broke for this pair. Maggie self doubt Just about killed me, and all the unfair blame Jett was carrying was equally painful to read. I loved seeing these two let down their guards and find happiness together.
Man of the Month Club: February
This was a fun, super spicy story. On the surface, Chelle and Aiden are complete opposites. But the truth is, Aiden is hiding his real self behind a boring public mask. Can they escape scandal long enough to really get to know one another, or will the Court of Public Opinion spell the end of their budding relationship?
Man of the Month Club: March
Is there any more appropriate man of the month than an Irish cop? I didn’t think so. Patrick’s been fascinated by Ruby for a while, but she’s got a stalker who’s just escalated. Is Patrick the answer to all her problems or the source of them? The ending of this book took a turn I wasn’t at all expecting. And I have to say that Rocky absolutely stole the show.

I volunteered to read this ARC for an honest review. I enjoyed this series of quick stories. This is a group of friends who are involved in a "book club" turned dating app beta testing. The apps designer, Phoebe, has a man of the month selected and then pairs them with the best matched female. Each story builds on the last in how they are selected and interact. Each couple faces a challenge and works to be happy together. From scars, publicly scrutinized to even stalkers, this first batch of couples manage to find happiness.

Does the matchmaking app work?

A group of friends are trying out Phoebe's matchmaking app.

January
Maggie doesn't want contact with other people since a fire at her work left her scared. She is horrified to discover she has been entered in her friend's dating app, and that she has been matched with Phoebe's cousin, Jett. Jett hadn't wanted to be entered in the dating app, and when he arrives at the group of friends, the only woman he thinks looks real is Maggie. Can he convince her that he is really interested in her?

February
Chelle is a local news reporter who is matched by the dating app to a stuffy senator, Aidan. It turns out that Aidan isn’t as stuffy as she thought, but things get complicated when she accidentally posts a topless photo on Twitter.

March
Ruby has started feeling that she is being watched so she decides to go to a self defence class. Officer Patrick McDonnell is standing in for the regular instructor, and he can't believe his luck when the woman he has been attracted to since she came to town is in his class. The attraction between them is instant, but what will Ruby's stalker think?

This is a collection of three contemporary romance short stories.

I love collections as they allow a nicely immersive experience as you jump from one book to the next. This one provided three different couples in three different settings with three different issues, so there was plenty of variety to be had. I found all of the stories to be well written, easy to read and highly entertaining. The characters were good, the plots nice and easy to follow and each couple got their HEA. Overall, a highly enjoyable collection.

Highly recommended.

Three couples who come together that are good for one another. There are Maggie and Jett, both reluctant to date but nudged to it by a matchmaking app that helps them find one another and help one another to see that with the right person the date is not only a good thing, it is the best. Next the reporter and the senator whose fake relationship becomes all too real, again a good thing. Finally, Ruby and Patrick. She takes his self defense class to get prepared to protect herself against a stalker and Patrick, an officer turns out to be helpful and more. All good.

Each book in this set is individually contained but with crossover characters and theme. I love the shared setting of Evie's bar. I feel like I need to find Evie's story. I enjoy learning about each couple and find their stories interesting and fun to read. My favorite is most likely Chelly and Adain. Their remeet for their second chance is cute and sweet. Very solid short stories. In fact I read each one twice.

Book 1 with Maggie and Jett was wonderful, it touched on some painful topics but also had plenty of love and chemistry to go around.

Book 2 with Aiden and Chelle had lots of humor in it, they seem to get themselves caught up in scandalous situations which added to the humor. I really enjoyed this story line and the amount of chemistry that came popping off the page.

Book 3 with Ruby and Patrick started out more like a mystery, he was there to protect her from whoever was leaving her messages and scaring her. They gave in to their chemistry and they really went well together. I was not expecting that ending though.
