DANG!!!! I'M ITCHING TO READ THE NEXT VOLUME BECAUSE AUGHHH—If I just don't have somewhere to go today!!! I can't stop thinking about it. I thought they were all chummies now, so, WHO THE F SCHEDULED THAT 20 METERS PETRIFICATION?! WHO WHOOOO—YES I'M A FRICKEN OWL!

Or, it's just a push for Senku to build a tv camera, and no one betrayed anyone?

Wait a minute... it was Ukyo who brought the medusa right... And Xeno was among his team? Could it be Xeno? Nah. Nevermind. I'll get my answer tonight!!

Chapters 206 to 214 (read on a weekly basis on VizMedia)

Was surprised how early this series is announcing its finale. But, I guess, ending it sooner is better than prolonging it. With 24+ volumes, Dr. Stone isn't a bad series. It's not that great, but it's not bad either. It focuses on educating and entertaining readers --- a mix you rarely see on manga and anime.

This volume focuses on

3/5 Stars (%65/100)

It was good but not as strong as the previous volumes. A few chapters at the beginning focus on Sai and Senku's efforts to make something that is somewhat similar to a modern computer. With Sai officially on the Kingdom of Science, the heroes can finally get ready to go to the Moon and confront the mysterious Whyman. Senku's plan is to go to the Moon without a return plan and petrify themselves. Chrome has another plan for them and everyone starts working. In the meantime, there are many new inventions as usual. I enjoyed it but this felt like a filler volume before starting the main event to the Moon.

Sai and Ryusui's relationship is one of my favorite ones so far. I've always been a sucker for the sibling relationships here - Kohaku and Ruri, Ginro and Kinro, and now Sai and Ryusui. They're all so well-written to me.

Also, that ending??? I'm so hooked. It really ended with a bang!

or, more appropriately, a flash of light

It’s weird to me how close this is to ending, part of me doesn’t want to see it go (although that’s a pretty good “””””problem””””” for a story to have). I like the Ryusui and Sai bits, it’s just endearing how Ryusui only really just wanted to hang out with Sai but couldn’t communicate it properly. The little bit at the end is super interesting and I’m really excited to see how the rest goes. Also this volume really gave me a new found appreciation for the complexity of computers, just seeing it spelled out for really is something.

Ekscytacja „nowym początkiem” trochę opada w momencie, kiedy weźmiemy do rąk mangę Dr. Stone tom 24.

Dr. Stone vol 24 is not yet released at the time of this review, but given that each tankoban includes roughly 9 chapters I am writing this review for chapters 206-214.

Anyways, story as usual. At least there's some direction right now as I hear it is approaching the final arc, so... that sense of positive momentum gives this volume a whole two stars instead of a solitary one star.

I hate every stereotype about Sai, but he is in fact the least annoying character in this series and as soon as he was introduced he immediately got backstory chapters that made him somewhat likeable.

This one was so incredible, they were able to being back so much more technology from the twentieth century. They were able to make a computer, a calculator, a TV and games, along with many other things. I also loved hire the brothers were able to reconcile and how they worked together. I loved the reunions and how far all of the characters have come since I last saw them yet I love how the mystery is being closer to being uncovered to who Why-man is.

*Review of Volumes 22-24*
Lots of stuff happening! Thank goodness no one died from that fight! Upon revival, I love the character development for Rysui! Also, But, that thing with the Medusa might mean there's a spy? Or someone who's in contact with Why man? You'd think they'd all be busy with all the labor going on with the computer.

So far Dr. Stone has been a blast to read through! Each individual chapter leaves suspense and interest in what the protagonist will do next. Furthermore, the way they use the limited materials available to create modern technology astounds me. The plot has stayed strong since the beginning and seeing the protagonist continue his way up modern technology is a thrilling ride indeed.

This volume hit me right in the feels multiple times--with all the emotions!--starting off strong about four pages in with that hug. The Sai Ryusui backstory had me crying. A lot of fun mini adventures in this one again made it lots of fun as well. I'm so sad there's only a couple of volumes left...I love this story so much.

3.5/5 This was a very science heavy volume. We finally return to Japan founding several new cities along the way. We get a little more back story on Ryusui’s brother Sai and who is helping speed along all the computer production. The last chapter gets exciting with a surprise attack from Why-Man.

Chrome, Senku, Ryusei, & Sai on the cover of volume 24.
