The MC isn't happy. His stepmom is marrying another man today. Would that make the man his stepfather? He doesn't like the guy and thinks she is making a huge mistake. He tries one more time to talk her out of it. This is where we find out that something happened between them 9 months ago, before he went to college. She has been his mother since he was 5 years old. They have been alone with each other since his father passed away 5 years ago. On the eve of him going to college, they had a frank discussion. He tried to get her to go out and date. He didn't want her to be alone. Hsi love life is brought up and she finds out he broke up with his GF 2 weeks ago and hasn't had sex since. They watch a movie that has a sex scene in it with a younger man and older woman. They get to talking and he tells her how attractive the woman was even though she was older. He did mention that she was much prettier than the actress. He ends up with a boner and she tells him she can help him with it. She doesn't take his pants off but rubs him over the clothes. This is something she did with his father when he was excited in public. He returns the favor but she only allows it over the clothes. They never talked about it the next day when he goes to college and before he knows it she is dating someone else and is engaged.

The guy she is marrying isn't happy. She made him sign a prenup the night before so he ends up not going through with the wedding. After some drama he finds her in the hotel and they finally talk. They both admit they have feelings for each other and felt guilt/shame for happened before. She asks him if he wants to do what they did before. He tells her no. He isn't going to hide anymore. He wants everything. They end up having sex. It is amazing. She then tells him to pack his bags because they are going to spend her honeymoon in Hawaii together. He can't wait.
