Looking for an easy read for the night, I came across The Author and her Bodyguard on Wattpad.
This is a straightforward romantic story, with the cliché of the protégée falling in love with her bodyguard, but it took me by surprise because of how funny it was. Laliana is an insecure girl with some demons, that has a surprising quick mouth to expel some really prompt and funny responses.
There weren't almost grammar mistakes, which is seriously rare on Wattpad free stories, congrats to the author for that.
I like the stalker theme, and how it kept the story going until the very end. Also liked that Laliana and Aiden didn't get together at first try, with all their misunderstood conversations.
Overall, a great story to spend the night with and to warm your heart.
There isn't too much violence, only one or two scenes that are more intense. There's also no smut, so it's really straightforward and focusing on the relationship development.
Also, Tate? Someone find me a Tate because that guy was funny!

Although there is a touch of mystery in the plot, it's pretty predictable and contains a well-known cliché, but that doesn't make it any less good, for a wattpad romance sucker like me it was very satisfying and funny :)
