Having no one left to turn to, Taylor puts her life—and her heart—in Greyson’s hands. Before long, they both find the love they’ve been missing, and a future someone is out to destroy. Author of the exciting R.I.S.C. Series, Anna Blakely brings you stories of love, action, and edge of your seat suspense. As an avid reader herself, Anna writes what she loves...strong, Alpha heroes and the intelligent, independent heroines they love.
Anna's dream is to create stories her readers will enjoy, and characters they'll fall in love with as much as she has. She believes in true love and Happily Ever After, which is what she will bring to you.
Anna lives in rural Missouri with her husband and children, as well as several rescued animals. When she's not writing, Anna enjoys reading, watching action and horror movies (the scarier the better), and spending time with her amazing family.
Taylor is the younger sister of Danny, a member of Greyson’s Seal Team. When he passes away, Greyson goes to his funeral only to get swept up in solving how he died. Taylor doesn’t believe her brother committed suicide and would leave her in the way in which he did. Taylor wants and needs Grey’s help to prove it. There are some intense moments in which you don’t know which direction the story is going to go and a twist that I didn’t see coming. I enjoy Blakely’s style with most of the angst coming from outside sources. If you haven’t delved into her backlist as of yet… you should do it now.

I borrowed Greyson ~ R.I.S. C. Charlie Team ~ Book 3, by Anna Blakely from the Kindle Unlimited Program.
SEAL Greyson Frost, now a member of R.I.S.C. Charlie Team gets a call the Danny Russell a formal Navy SEAL on his team has committed killed himself and this doesn't make sense. Greyson goes to Kansas City for the services to honor his former teammate and to support Danny's younger sister, Taylor Russell.
He brings three of his teammates at R.I.S.C. to help him solve the mystery around Danny's death. Taylor is attack twice, dangerous men are looking for something and Greyson has to figure out what it is and why it is so important to these men. Betrayal plays a big part of the plot as Greyson and his R.I.S.C. Charlie Team figure out and stop the threat to Taylor.
Taylor and Greyson finally talk and admit the attraction they have felt for each other adding a romance element full of emotions.
The heroine had a moment that was very out of character for her, and got her into trouble. But I'm obsessed with Greyson! I loved that it was set in my hometown of Kansas City.
Greyson is book three in Anna Blakely’s R.I.S.C. Charlie Team, and it’s a banger!
Greyson is devastated to find out that Danny, a member of his old SEAL team, has taken his life, but he doesn’t quite buy it. Things don’t add up. When he travels to the funeral and reunites with Danny’s little sister Taylor, they both realize two things: one, they both think Danny was murdered, and two, there’s a spark that’s been between them for years. Can they figure out what really happened to Danny? Can Greyson let Taylor in do they can have a relationship? If the murderer gets to Taylor first, it may not matter.
This is a great story. Greyson has always been a stoic person, so when he admits his feelings for Taylor, he’s taking a huge leap. He has some issues stemming from his military service and is afraid they’ll make a relationship impossible. Taylor has always had feelings for Greyson, but she was afraid it might not work between them. The characters are great in this one, especially the contrast between Greyson’s former SEAL team and his current R.I.S.C. Team members. The plot is exciting and fast-paced and has lots of drama!
Greyson is a standalone in an interconnected series. You’ll love Charlie Team even more if you go back and start with the first R.I.S.C. series. Let me know what you think - I’d love to discuss!
A story of heartbreak and betrayal that will keep you guessing! Sexy Greyson Frost has always hidden his attraction to Taylor his former team mate’s sister, partly through loyalty to her brother and partly because he believes she deserves better than him. When tragedy strikes Grey and Taylor are brought together to try and find out the truth about her brother’s death and they both find it harder and harder to deny their growing feelings. Straight talking, strong-minded Tay is the perfect foil for honourable, loyal and protective Greyson as he desperately tries to do what he thinks is the right thing. Action from the start, danger and intrigue, with twists and turns you won’t see coming and emotions a plenty together with the unfolding romance between Taylor and Grey will keep you enthralled. A great addition to this series, loved the epilogue and peek at things to come. Can be read as a stand-alone but reading the whole series is better. I received an arc from the author and I am voluntarily leaving my honest review.
This is the third book in the R.I.S.C. Charlie team series. There's just one surprise after another. Greyson Frost is above all else, an honorable man. When he gets the call that Danny, one of his former teammates and brother in arms is no more, he and his other brothers in arms rush to be by Danny's sister, Taylor's side. Greyson has had feelings for Taylor for a long time. Unbeknownst to him, she has had feelings for him too. Neither of them believe what the police detectives say. They start their own investigation, and along with Charlie team they are determined to find answers. Along the way, Greyson is desperately trying to keep the promise he made to Danny to not get involved with her. Fate had other ideas and the sparks fly from there. They have a great deal to go through to get the HEA they deserve. Get this book ASAP and find out what happens next. I promise you won't regret it. Sorry, no spoilers. I received this ARC and here is my honest review
Okay, Anna Blakely had my full attention with Greyson's cover. Wowza! And, the story measured up to the cover. Lots of emotions and suspense as well as sizzle along with a devastating betrayal here. The death of one of Greyson's SEAL teammates has him coming to the aid of the dead man's sister. Taylor Russell knows there's something off about her brother's supposed suicide and Greyson Frost agrees after doing just a bit of digging. Suddenly, though, things heat up with an attack and Greyson is all in. The deeper he digs the more damning the information becomes. But what's causing him consternation is the white hot attraction to Taylor. He has too many demons to be in any relationship let alone one with her. Well, if Taylor has anything to say about it and let me tell you she does, she's not letting Grey off the hook. She thoroughly schools him on why they deserve to be together. Asher, Rhys and Kellan come in to assist and outcome of their op is a shocker. The good news? Grey and Taylor get an HEA.
After five years, survivor’s guilt over an op gone bad left one of then SEAL team lead, Greyson Frost’s men, came rushing forward when Grey heard the guy, Danny Russell, committed suicide though the guilt wrestled with shock and disbelief. At the funeral their SEAL team notices attraction between Grey and Danny’s sister, Taylor, they tease him about their hands off promise. Over lunch with Tay, Grey shares his disbelief Danny would commit suicide and surprised Tay feels the same.
Looking for paperwork at Danny’s home to settle his affairs, Tay’s attacked! Unsettled by the attack on Taylor, the clues he’d found on the crime scene photos and the burglar’s words, Grey decides its time to call his RISC brothers in to help. The guys are there by morning, as they follow up on a clue, Taylor’s home is burglarized, her belongings destroyed, Grey keeps digging. He finds more clues that he finds harder to believe when Tay’s kidnapped!
I liked but didn’t love this outing, the necessary pieces are present but the overall feeling was unevenly flimsy to my taste. Rating: 3.75stars
Greyson and Taylor. A brother in arms little sister is off limits…right? Greyson has been attracted to Taylor since first meeting her but a promise to Danny ensured he didn’t act on it. Tragic circumstances bring them face to face and chemistry is apparent even in tragedy. Greyson and his sEAL team are all there to honor their own, but Greyson has questions and stays behind to get answers. After working on them, the danger becomes more and more apparent for Taylor so the Charlie team comes out to support Greyson. Twists abound and the villains of the story will break your heart. The outcome is quite sad, but the ending is still wonderful as Greyson and Taylor are safe, together, and have answers. Rhys and the team were there, but Rhys took the MVP with his care and checking in with Greyson. The hunt for the next book is Rhys and the woman who broke his heart. They have a secret meeting and a bullet wound just in a few pages so I can’t wait to see what their story brings!
I've read other books in this series and other books by this author, and this one by far is my favorite.
I liked the plot, even though I was a little hesitant at first. I normally don't read friends'siblings'romances, they're just not interesting to me. This one blew me away and made it hard to put down.
I loved the characters, especially Greyson. I felt he was the best mix of rough and gentle without it being overwhelming or sickening. He was described by an enemy in the book as a hippie, but I saw Greyson more as a Viking. Taylor was smart, and didn't seem like a pathetic damsel. I thought the connection between the two main characters was authentic, which made for a more enjoyable read.
The romance wasn't over the top, and there was enough action/suspense to make the book thrilling.
You don't need to read the other books in the series first, but I would recommend it so you can get background and a feel for Greyson.
Suspense and action start this story, Grayson and his Seal team on a mission that doesn't end quite as it should. Then we go to the present and a funeral. Honestly I loved the characters, all of them, by t he end I think I felt a little of how Grayson himself felt and I don't know what to think. Thankfully we have other fabulous characters so I will focus on those. Intrigue and mystery there is much of that as Grayson investigates what happened and is suspicious not all is as it appears. Taylor is strong and she is understanding but forthright, straight talking and not pitying, exactly what Grayson needs. So many twists, I almost felt like a spinning top at towards the end. I'm glad for the epilogue and the lead into Rhys story because although I absolutely loved this it did leave me gobsmacked. What a plot.
Greyson was his Seal's team leader. He would protect his men at any cost. Danny looked at Greyson as not just a team leader, but as a brother and his hero. The day Danny took a bullet for Greyson everything changed. Promising to always and forever look after Danny's little sister was, what Greyson felt, was the least he could do. Who knew that promise would change his life forever.
Danny survived the bullet that was meant for Greyson, but years later Danny had "taken" his own life. Greyson and Taylor must work together to unravel the mystery that led to the death of her brother. Will Greyson be able to keep his promise to always take care of her without falling for her. You know, what they call "Bro Code".
Get ready for a great plot with twists and turns, loyalty, alpha protectors, a strong will woman and the men of R.I.S.C working together to do what right by Danny.
Taylor's brother, Danny just killed himself and his ex-seal team came to the funeral to pay their respects. Greyson the former team leader and friend investigates and doesn't believe he did commit suicide. This is full on action from the very first page and doesn't let up. It was both moving and emotional, with lots of action, drama, mystery and intrigue, not to mention the romantic relationship developing behind the scenes. I couldn't help but pull for Greyson and Taylor's relationship to take off and it really was wonderful to read. This was an excellent story that grabbed on and never let go. Exactly as I love my books. Great work Anna! So so so good! This was an ARC and this is my honest review.
Greyson is the third book in the Charlie group of the RISC series, and it is a great addition. Anna Blakey did a terrific job intertwining heartfelt emotion into a steamy, romantic, suspenseful story. I found myself drawn into the story immediately, and I couldn’t put it down. Greyson was the commander of Taylor’s brother’s SEAL team. Taylor’s brother’s funeral brings them together again, and the sparks fly. Greyson and Taylor had great chemistry, but aren’t sisters supposed to be off limits? An investigation into Taylor’s brother’s death and danger throw them closer together. The result is a great story that builds an awesome relationship. I can’t wait for the next story that the epilogue set up!
Beyond the whole life in danger situation, Greyson and Taylor are couple goals! Taylor being Greyson's best friend's little sister meant they could never be. At least, that is what they kept telling themselves never being truthful with one another. However, when Taylor's life is put in danger after her brother Danny is killed, Greyson will do everything in his power to keep her safe. When they discover how much they care for one another, the embers that have always been under the surface heat up and sparks fly! However, their romance has to take a backseat when they must work together to find Danny's killer who is now after Taylor before it is too late. Incredible as always, I cannot wait for more from this series!
Greyson might be my favorite book in the Charlie Team series. Greyson gets a call from one of his old military teammates that shakes him to the core. One of his team has died and the rest all get together to attend the funeral. They pay their respects to the grieving sister, Taylor Russell and Greyson spends an extra couple of days helping her out. In doing so Taylor and Greyson come into some information that sends both their worlds spiraling out from under their feet! Nothing is as it appears to be and in order to keep Taylor safe, Greyson keeps her with him. This is one of those stories that if I say too much I will give away too much so just know that the story stands alone, it was told from dual POV and had plenty of action and heat between these two!
Another intense read in this spinoff series. Greyson finally gets the girl but he doesn’t think he’s worthy. A mystery right from the start that Taylor wants answers for and a gut feeling from Greyson is all it takes for them to go down this path. One simple touch was all it took for her to move forward. She is the strong one when telling him that she is moving on and she knows what she wants, and it’s him. Loads of intensity in this story and I love how it all came together. This story is about being brave in your own way and see what how you are being brave others will follow.
Greyson is a former Navy Seal and present member of RISC On Charlie Team. Taylor is Danny’s sister and a lawyer. Danny is Taylor’s brother.
Greyson and His Seal teammates are called when Danny died suddenly ( all evidence points one way), but Taylor and Greyson think otherwise.
The attraction between Greyson and Taylor ( which neither new about the attraction for each other). As time goes on things happen, while finding out about Danny’s death. Eventually Charlie Team is called in to help solve the mystery. This leads to a rash of incidents, putting Greyson and Taylor as targets.
This book has suspense, intrigue, romance, drama and emotions.
Grayson was my favourite male character so was looking forward to his love story however it's not original.he fancys is his army brothers sister. This series does take them away from there town they live in so no women banter in this one. I did think more main characters should of appeared in this more and less dragged out other stuff. Also I found it frustrating.she knew not to trust no one and she is not dumb she is a lawyer so investigate and suspension should be her first thought.why wouldn't she tell the guys who is at the door it's to stupid. I did think her brother was working for CIA or FBI trying to look into what happened back then? Sadly not the case.
Another FANTASTIC story by Anna! This one is a total shocker! Greyson has the hots for Taylor as does she for Greyson. The story thickens as we get close to the end of the story. It was a total shock about Greyson's entire team. The truth had to be told but what sadness is involved for both Greyson and Taylor. Glad they have each other to get to the bottom of her brother's death. It is definitely worth reading! FANTASTIC job Anna! I would recommend this book. Can't wait for the next book!
Greyson has had feelings for his best friends little sister since he first saw her. But he keeps those feelings hidden, until his friend is gone and he has to see Taylor face to face. He can’t deny his attraction to her especially when it’s obvious she returns his feelings. Neither can believe the circumstances surrounding her brother’s death and as they try to find clues, they find out Taylor is in danger. This book gives you ALL the feels! The drama and suspense will keep you on the edge of your seat. I literally could not put it down!
Greyson has just found out a man from his old team has passed from his own hand. He doesn't want to believe it. Danny wouldn't do that to his sister, Taylor. After the funeral, Greyson decides to stick around and investigate. After meeting up with Taylor, they go to her brother's place and Taylor is injured there. Time to bring his team in. While investigating, Greyson and Taylor become close. After another one of Greyson's old team is killed, it's time to stop this. Who is behind the killings and why? What will happen now with Greyson and Taylor?
This is a best friend little sister type of book. I really enjoyed the chemistry between these two especially when Greyson is trying to fight his feelings for Taylor because of a promise he made to her brother.
Too many things had question marks for Taylor concerning to apparent suicide of her brother, wanting to get to the bottom of it, she finds herself in trouble and needs Greyson's help to find out what happened.
Watching these two dance around each other while trying to follow the clues was really fun to read.
## Bravo on the cover. Yowza. This one was a little slower to get started but was still a good read. It was a little different from the others. Yes, the guy still falls for the heroine immediately, and yes he immediately calls her sweetheart, and yes she's kidnapped and beaten, just like all the others...but it had a different feel to it. Definitely a solid 4.5 stars though. I'm going to skip Rhys' story. He's been such a jerk in this series, I don't care to read about him.
Love this story most of all because it’s a bit different from the others. I’ve been reading through the series and love them but the typos are driving me crazy. There’s usually one in each book but they’re so glaringly obvious here: bate instead of bait, conscious instead of conscience… Please add me to your proofreading team! Let me read before you publish, please? I really love the style of writing and would hate for others to get turned off by minor details such typos when you’re engrossed in the story.
The 3rd installment in RISC Charlie Team Series is tragic, suspenseful, page turning entertainment. Ms. Blakely has another winner in this series. Her characters come to life and you can feel the pain and turmoil they have to deal with while also feeling the emotion of discovering love during a difficult time. Greyson and Taylor's story is full of mystery with suspenseful twists and turns that will have you shocked and a beautiful HEA.
This is the third book in this series and it can be read as a standalone (but characters from the previous books do make an appearance). I absolutely loved Greyson and Taylor. They were perfect for each other and I enjoyed the dynamic between them. They were both there for each other when the other needed it the most. I can't wait to read the next book in this series.
It's funny how in the blink of an eye everything you thought you knew can turn into a lie. Greyson is a teams guy. He was back in the military and he is now in RISC. His former teammates little sister Taylor always caught his eye, but he kept his distance. Now that her brother is dead Taylor needs his help more than either of them are willing to admit. An edge of your seat, who can it be type of book that adds to this amazing series!
This is a Romantic Suspense, and this is the third book in the R.I.S.C. Charlie Team series. I have read the first two books in this series before picking up this book, but you can read this book as a standalone. I enjoyed reading this book and the characters in this book. This book has so much put into it, and there is so much twists and turns in this book. This book was a wild ride and I loved it so much.
Wow!! 5 stars are not nearly enough for this book, but with Anna Blakely we have come to know that. I loved this story, its Greysons and Taylor's story and its so fantastic. The very first 2 chapters grab you and man what a ride. I highly recommend this story and any book written by the amazing Anna Blakely!!
