This one is about Tiernan (Morelli's third son) and Bianca, Aida's daughter (Lane Constantine's mistress) what makes Bianca and Brando (her little brother) also Constantine.
Another book in Midnight Dynasty world, the eternal fight for power between Constantine and Morelli.
This is only a prequel for what's coming, but damn, it started really good.
There's an instant chemistry between Tiernan and Bianca, though Tiernan is her mother's lover.
It's an age gap romance.
Tiernan is 30 years old and Bianca 17, she will be 18 in a few months.
Of course, being Morelli, and one that might not be, because of his green eyes, there were always been suspicions if he is Bryant's son, there's an evil plan behind is relationship with the previous Constantine mistress, he wants her secrets, and he plans to destroy Caroline by revelling his husband's second family to the society.
And the nightmare for Bianca begins when her mother dies in her sleep.
They have no one, so she calls Tiernan.
Elena Lombardi appears, being Tiernan's lawyer, she's the one that takes care of all the papers.
Welcome to your new daddy, Bianca!

This is a prequel novella, so it's just a glimpse of how our hero and heroine are pushed together before the start of the novel (Guarding Temptation). I know that Guarding Temptation is a guardian/ward romance, so I was interested to meet the love interested and see how he became the guardian of the heroine. I enjoyed Bianca's character and how she was so protective of her younger brother, who she has pretty much raised herself. I had no clue that our hero was going to be a boyfriend of her mom's, and I'm not sure how much I love that aspect of the novella. But it did make sense with how Bianca and her brother became wards of the hero by the end of the story. I really enjoyed where the end of this novella went and I cannot wait to read the full novel to come!

I have been dying to read this story.. and we got a prequel to this couple.. and I'll be honest the hyped went down super fast on how they met
My mind was totally different.. I kinda wish Bianca and Tiernan met a different way.. im blah to how he met the mom and fucked the mom... I would have been cool if she didn't hear them many times have sex.. but yup.. it just made me go blah to the whole thing.
Now the moms out of the picture and Bi and her brother are now under Tiern care.. and I guess this is where book 1 shall start.. I'll probably wait until more reviews (on book 1) because I'm not really feeling it right now.. and idk if Tiern shall have woman on the side.. I do hope it's a daddy kink lol.. he did have a mouth on him lol

Dangerous Temptation is one of my most anticipated reads this month, and this prologue novella, which is supposedly gonna heighten my excitement, unfortunately managed to do the opposite.
I wasn't particularly sold with how the h and H met, and how their relationship was established. It was kinda eh, and their banter was also just okay-ish? Plus the fact that just didn't sit well with me, regardless of the reasons. I did not expect that, and I could have done better without that knowledge to be quite honest.
I envisioned a different route as to how the h and H's relationship is gonna get established, which I admit is unfair but I couldn't help it since I've been SO excited to read this and I've been formulating theories in my head as to how it could unfold. So this is a factor that also dampened my anticipation when I found out how the story actually unfolded, which is lukewarm at best.
It's too early to say what I overall feel about this since it's only the prologue after all. But based on my initial thoughts and impressions, I'm not completely sold, but I'm still interested enough to read the main story.

It's well written, if not a bit embelished, GD style.
Safety wise, it couldn't be safer: no cheating, no sex scenes.

A taste of Tiernan was enough to make me crave more… a small morsel of forbidden to tickle your taste buds.
Giana gives us a glimpse into Bianca’s world, we meet her sweet and determined persona, so young but forced to grow up fast. Not yet a woman and already had to sacrifice a lot, unfortunately her journey just got tougher…

This prequel novella is the perfect beginning to what I can already tell is going to be a richly intense, darkly consuming, and seductively alluring story between the monstrous Tiernan Morelli and the innocent but resilient Bianca (of mysterious parentage, but I have my theories). Bad Dream gives us the foundation of Dangerous Temptation (out shortly) and already weaves a dangled web of mysterious agenda, buried secrets, and power games. Tiernan is an enchanting alpha- one with the very contrasts of his scarred face. Savagely beautiful, transfixing, edgy and menacing. And Bianca I can already tell is going to be a heroine I root for- the kind we often find in a Giana Darling story. Aged beyond her years, lonely but resilient, naive despite her spunk. The set up is one that certainly will give us an interesting story- a young girl, not even legally aged, at the mercy of a man who clearly has troubling intentions. There's a clearly hostile passion between them, one I cant' wait to simmer into a love-hate sizzle. And I'm looking forward to seeing how Giana, a real master of longing and epically romantic overtures where platonic love evolves into something of depth, handles the trope. But she's not stranger to taboo, nor age gap, nor dark elements- so I can't wait to see her combine that and her poetic writing style in a story with more hate than longing, and a game of power at it's center.

After my last dive into the Midnight Dynasty I swore I was gonna stay away but here we are 🤣
This is also actually my first Giana read as well.
I honestly for the love of me could not remember if we learn of Tiernan or Bianca in any other Midnight Dynasty books. It’s been too many names in the family tree.
Quick and easy prequel novella that just gives you a bit of a taste. I was definitely intrigued from the first chapter with the way they meet. The fact that he is having sex with her mother was a bit cringey for me personally as I don’t really enjoy reading about H having sex with someone else. Especially since she can hear it 😬.Their tension was really there and I’m hoping chapters beyond the prequel novella have more of his POV.

I am so excited for Giana to write in this world with this story. Age gap/forbidden is my most favourite and Giana is one of my favourite authors to write this troupe.

Asking for Tiernan’s help comes at a price and Bianca is soon to find out how when ‘Dangerous Temptation’ is released later this month! I need it now!

This prolong was good. It just intensify my need for dangerous temptations more. I need to read the book ASAP!! Tiernan and Bianca chemistry is soo good...the sexual tension through...even through Tiernan is an ass, but I still likes his character and can see where he comes from, he has a rough childhood from what we can see in the book, we got a little glimpses of it..I absolutely love Bianca character too, she is a old soul trapped in a 17 year old body, she is a mature girl. Can't wait to read there book. Age gap, guardian romance is always my favourite trope ( as the Forbidden and Taboo factors are soo big here) and who Don't love a morally grey asshole Alpha male who can redempt and changed himself for his love 😏.

One thing’s for certain, I’m not a fan of Tiernan Morelli…but, he IS an anti-hero, so I guess Giana has done her job. Being a huge fan of GD I know that I need to just trust the process and have faith that she’ll have me falling in love with her newest hero in no time.

hhhhhmmmmm interesting. This wasn't bad it just wasn't at all what I was expecting going into this story. I definitely thought it was going to be more romantic and give me little hints of what we have in store for the full length novel. However after reading this I was just left feeling slightly underwhelmed! I really wanted to love this but it was just ok. I do think I will continue on with this series because I did really enjoy Giana's writing and I can see the potential. And I don't want to write of the series completely after only around 100 pages of set up. So we shall see.

This is a perfect little taste of what's to come in Giana's addition to the Midnight Dynasty world which I am loving.

We get to see Tiernan and Bianca's first encounter and the events that lead them to be thrust together. This has gotten me excited for what's to come in Dangerous temptation because the hate vibes are strong and the chemistry is going to sizzle.

I'm very curious to see how the author will pull this off cause hero banging the heroine's mother in the room next door? And then he's her guardian? hmmm...I have my doubts about this love story 😂
Also Bianca's father, omg!!! I'm glad that I read 'Wicked Idol' before this one. The guy was clearly a douche, shitty husband - his wife was even worst - but a lovable father, I guess!!

I need more. This prologue novella gives us a taste of what’s yet to come in Dangerous Temptation. The chemistry between Bianca and Tiernan is off the charts. The hate… oh the hate vibes she projects toward him is gonna make their journey tumultuous and entertaining af. I look forward to what Giana has in store for us. This one is surely gonna be dark, dirty and with Tiernan being a Morelli, it is definitely gonna be depraved.
