Le belle cose non accadono mai dopo le 2 di notte. Soprattutto a Las Vegas.
Per lo meno non quando vi ripensi la mattinata successiva.
Probabilmente, l’accedere ad un fondo fiduciario e l’avere un bambino, non sono i migliori presupposti per sposarsi.

Declan es tan bello, caballeroso.. OMG quiero uno para navidad 🤩 Era tan lindo con Marian, y ella a cada momento salía con sus cosas raras 🙄, pero no podía enojarme demasiado con ella porque sufrió antes con un tipo que la dejó con traumas. 🥺
En fin, esta historia es super linda, y tiene mucho 🔥 (Hasta esas partes eran lindas y tiernas. 🥰)

This was a good read. Declan and Marian meet while at Vegas. They end up getting married. They decide to strike a deal but of course feelings become real. The problem is that Marian has some issues dealing with her abusive ex. This makes things hard for her. Thankfully in the end everything works out for them and they get their happy ending.

What starts in Vegas will not end there for these two when destiny steps in
Once again Sarah J. Brooks has done it with One Hot Fake. This is sizzling hot story about Declan and Marian is fun, emotional, sweet, sexy and oh such a great read. These two meet on a flight to Las Vegas but then went their separate ways at the airport. For most people it would have been may a missed opportunity. But for these two fate puts them in each other paths again when they meet again at the same hotel. Well what do you do when destiny says you are meant to trip over each other.....have a few too many drinks and then end up at a little chapel. The only problem is that the next morning they quickly discover they both want different things, as in Declan wants to stay married while Marian wants a quick way out of the situation. Declan may be literally classified as "sex-on-a-stick" and you want to lick him thoroughly, but he is going to have to work to convince Marian to stay married. She is a little firecracker who is so sweet and cute. Together they are witty, funny and have enough chemistry to make the Vegas strip explode.
I really loved this well written book. The story-line is sweet, charming, funny, entertaining and smokin' hot. The characters were nicely developed and you just want to cheer for them right from the start. I would definitely say this a RECOMMEND READ!!!

Marian had a horrible ex husband that changed her. I was glad to see her have her own wedding business and how strong she became. I felt bad because she lost her baby that she had always wanted. On the plane to Vegas she sits next to a guy named Declan. It must have been kismet as they kept running into each other and even went to the same wedding. I loved that they had a drunken night and got married! Sometimes when you are not looking for love, it finds you. I enjoyed watching the two go through getting to know each other. They had a lot of ups and downs and not good communication. Plus Declan’s mother was a real piece of work. I enjoyed the book and encourage you to read it. I was given a copy of the book and voluntarily wrote a review.

Awesome read! A sexy emotional read that has you drawn in from the start. There’s a fake marriage an abusive ex and sizzling chemistry between the characters. A must read. I received an arc copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

In „One Hot Fake“ geht es um die Geschichte von Marian und Declan. Beide treffen sich zum ersten Mal in Las Vegas und niemand, der beiden ahnt, dass die Nacht zu einer Hochzeit führt. Sie möchte ein Kind haben und hat bisher nicht den richtigen Mann gefunden. Er möchte sein Erbe bekommen muss, dazu aber verheiratet sein.
Doch was hat das Schicksal mit beiden vor, wenn auf einmal Gefühle ins Spiel kommen?
Marian ist Hochzeitsplanerin und hat ihre eigene Firma. Sie hatte bisher kein Glück bei Männern und wünscht sich so sehr ein Baby. Als das Schicksal ihr auf einmal Declan bringt, kommt alles anders.
Declan hat eine Kette von Pizza Läden und hat braucht Geld, um seine weiteren Pläne verwirklichen zu können. Als er auf Marian trifft, ahnt er nicht, wo das Schicksal sie hinführt.
Der Schreibstil ist angenehm flüssig und wird im Wechsel aus der Perspektive von Declan und Marian erzählt. Der Leser kann sie so beide näher kennenlernen und ihre Gedanken und Gefühle erfahren während der Handlung. Die Nebenfiguren wie ihre Familien fand ich ebenso authentisch und sie gestalten die Geschichte mit.
Die Spannung hat mich mit jedem neuen Kapitel in die Geschichte der beiden gezogen. Marian ist Hochzeitsplanerin und hat ihre eigene Firma. Als sie in Las Vegas Declan trifft, ahnt sie nicht, wohin das Schicksal sie beide in einer Nacht führen wird. Auf einmal sind beide verheiratet und am liebsten würde sie direkt wieder die Ehe annullieren lassen. Doch Declan will zuerst nicht darauf eingehen und als ein Deal entsteht, bei dem sie ihren Kinderwunsch erfüllt bekommt und er das Erbe scheint alles unter Dach und Fach. Wie es aber das Schicksal so will, kommen andere Komplikationen dazwischen und die Anziehung der beiden ist nicht zu leugnen. Kann es wirklich mehr werden, als zu Beginn, wo es nur eine Art Fake war? Ich habe die Geschichte verschlungen und konnte mich kaum bremsen mit dem Lesen. Die Autorin hat einen wunderbaren Stil, der mich immer wieder mitnimmt.
Das Cover sieht einfach heiß aus und ich hätte gerne sofort ein Poster davon <3

The visions in Declan's head when he officially meets Marian has nothing to do with sugar plums!!! Is it fate that brings them together three times in one day starting on the plane and ending in Vegas?? Is it fate that they each could be responsible to give the other what they need to make their lives complete?? Who knows but a few drinks too many and that's what they agree on!!! Marry me and I'll get my inheritance to expand my business and I'll give you a baby!!! Neither counted on the sizzling attraction so hot it could boil Declan's pizza sauce!!! Even with the rules in place their attraction only enhances the baby making and some of their walls of distrust to fall away... if only the mothers would keep their tattleing to themselves and the ex 's would stay away... they might be able to make a go at it. One is insistent to make it real and one is insistent it ends... Which one is persistent enough to get their way??? Past heartaches, common friends, secrets and misunderstandings play a major role in deciding whether fate is a friend or a cruel bit#h. I love how Sarah J. Brooks spins this tale of two people so right for each other yet their relationship is far from smooth sailing. It is also a pleasure to visit past characters and catch up on their lives. One hot fake : una storia d’amore

Quando si scrivono libri con questo tipo di trama bisogna avere una buona mano… voglio dire , se ci piazzi un matrimonio da ubriachi a Las Vegas , con annessa gravidanza , beh devi essere bravo a rigirarti la storia in modo che non si confonda tra le millemila già scritte e lette. Per soddisfare una task già il secondo del genere che leggo, entrambi pieni di cliché del caso, questo un pochino meglio come sinergie e cura nelle caratterizzazioni e situazioni. Declan e Marian invitati a Las Vegas per un matrimonio finiscono per sposarsi loro e per una serie di motivazioni decidono per continuare il matrimonio.
Tutto quasi già visto, ma la mano è buona e mi ha ben intrattenuto con una bella caratterizzazione di entrambi e nell’ inserimento di personaggi secondari non convenzionali. Questo è un quarto di serie , può sicuramente essere letto da solo anche se alcuni personaggi presentati all’inizio erano certamente protagonisti in altri libri e qualche sfumatura certamente l’ho persa.
Mezzo voto in più per l’accidental pregnancy…che non è proprio come te l’aspetti , anche se tutto il resto rimane quasi ordinario e facilmente dimenticabile. Raggiungiamo comunque la piena sufficienza, mantiene ne più ne meno di ciò che promette,senza salti sulla sedia ma gradevolmente. ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Marian is a wedding planner and her friends give her a plane ticket to go to Vegas for another friend's wedding. On the plane she meets Declan but doesn't speak to him much. Declan knows she looks familiar but can't place her. Later they run into each other at the same hotel and again at the bar. They start talking and drinking then things get out of control for them. They wake up the next day married. Marian is up before Declan so she escapes to her own room to get ready for her friend's wedding. She is shocked when Declan comes in late and sits beside her for the same wedding. Turns out that is why she is familiar they know the same people and have been introduced briefly before. Declan convinces her to hold on before rushing to annul their marriage because they both might benefit from being married. However neither expected something that was fake to turn into something very real. Can they make a real go of a future together? Or will they cut their losses and end things?
This is a great story that will captivate you from beginning to end. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the story of Declan and Marian. Declan is the brother of Ace, who was featured in the book One Hot Daddy. When Marian goes to Las Vegas for a wedding fo a friend, she meets Declan on the plane. Marian is a wedding planner, but she secretly wishes she had love and a baby. When they see each other again at the hotel while checking in, Declan wonders if he will see her again. Later at the hotel bar, they have a drink together and they confess what they really want, Marian wants a baby and Declan needs to be married to get his trust fund so he can open another pizza restaurant. The next morning Marian wake to find herself in Declan's room and sneaks out. When Declan sees her at the wedding, he mentions how they got married the night before. Marian wants to forget everything, but Declan wants to make a deal and help each other out. If he gets his trust fund, he will help her have a baby. i loved this story. I like that it was not all easy for them, they had problems they had to tackle and it was not clear what would happen. I also liked seeing Ace again and how he was happy in love. Another great one.

Wow! Whoever said “What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas” was dead wrong. At least in not in Marian’s case. One hot night in Vegas with an a hot stranger, leads to a marriage and a husband who doesn’t want to divorce. How did this happen....that’s right .....a long overdue weekend off and one too many drinks. Now what?!
This story was not the typical Vegas story. It is so much more. Marian and Declan both have a deep set of issues. These issues are the obstacles that make a happily ever after very difficult to obtain.
I enjoyed the story of these beautiful characters. It is serious yet oh so sexy with a dash of fun. This book was fast paced and had some deep issues that are carefully woven into an intricate web.
Ms. Brooks has an amazing talent for writing sexy hot stories with depth and interesting subjects, that grab the readers attention. Her characters are extremely entertaining and intriguing. Her stories touch on the readers souls and tend to tweak the emotions. ��Overall this book is an excellent read to warm the lonely nights with. A new book boyfriend that is sure to melt those hearts and panties.😜 so pick up your copy today and have a blast.

Marian and Declan are perfect for each other. Both have been unlucky in love. They end up meeting on a plane and keep running into each other. They end up have one drunken night and decide to get married. The next day, Marian doesn’t remember the wedding, but later at a friend’s wedding her memories come back. They end up coming up with an agreement and stay married. Once both have what they want, they will split. However, as time goes by and they spend more time together, their feelings towards each other grows. Marian is so scared to admit her feelings. She doesn’t want to be hurt again. Declan is falling hard and fast. He wants to prove to Marian that he will care for her and won’t hurt her. His overprotectiveness may end up causing problems as with other obstacles getting thrown in their way. Sarah did suck a great job with their story that I felt like I was right there with them. There is angst, meddling people, love and twists. You need to read this and get swept into a whirlwind.

Oh wow the steam in this book is super hot. The book is super good too with great characters who are struggling with this new fake relationship and the feelings they don’t expect to have. Declan and Marian meet at a destination wedding and wake up married. They decide to give their marriage some time to achieve goals for each individually before going their separate ways. But can they separate real from fake before hearts and feelings get involved? Marian especially has a lot of baggage that makes their journey a difficult one. There is some heartbreak from a loss of a baby that also encourages seeing a therapist to help deal with the pain. I thought this was addressed so well and really addressed the pin that the loss can cause. There are also meddling families (both mean spirited as well as good intentioned) that causes tension between the couple. It’s a tough and hard fought road but so worth it at the end of this book. I definitely recommend reading it.

I really enjoyed reading One Hot Fake by Sarah J. Brooks because it was such a steamy and intense story about Declan and Marian. They had met on a plane to Vegas and each had a few too many drinks and decided on a whim to get married. But each of them also had stipulations that the other needed to do in order to survive this marriage. Marian wanted a baby and Declan needed his trust fund to build his dream pizza restaurant. Things were very steamy for them and there was a few moments of drama laced in between, but this story was hot and feelings were beginning to be blurred. Nothing seemed fake anymore. I hoped that things would work out and that Declan and Marian would stay together and achieve both of their dreams together. I would highly recommend reading this story. I loved the cover of this book. Declan is so dreamy and hot!!!!

Brooks is a captivating,intriguing,steamy with a roller coaster ride of emotion with some drama and lots of romance.. a story of Declan and Marian..Declan grew up with money but love his pizza store.;Marian is a gorgeous wedding planner ,dreaming to have a family soon without a man only baby.when her friends gave her a ticket going to vegas to attend a wedding for them she met Declan at the plane the attraction is instant and their chemistry is explosive but Declan eventhough attracted to her he has an ulterior motives to ask her to be his fake wife to get his inheritance but before that they got drunk and found themselve married to make the story short both of them need each other for Declan to get his money and for Marian to have a baby that she was dreaming about,but how if theres feelings involves is it,going to be fake all the way or real? read it to find out!

Marian is a divorced wedding planner going to Las. Eggs for her friend’s wedding and meets Declan on the way there. They meet again at a bar after the wedding and after drinking end up married. They agree to stay married so she can get pregnant and he will gain access to his trust fund that he desperately needs so his business will not go bankrupt. After spending time together they become attracted but will they be able to find happiness together with business and family pressure working against them?
I give this book 4.5 stars. They each want something different from their drunken marriage but they were were never open about what they really wanted and never talked about their feelings. The epilogue was a perfect ending for their story.

At a bar in Vegas, Marian and Declan find that the negotiation they are conducting sounds very fair and sensible, especially as they keep drinking. Declan Carter wants Marian to agree to marry him which will make his trust fund accessible. He needs the money for his pizza parlor business. In return, he agrees to get her pregnant since she wants a child. She agrees, as long as they get divorced before the baby comes. She doesn’t want a playboy father involved in her child’s life.
Once they start living together, however, things begin to shift a little as the marriage starts to feel kind of “real” and comfortable. She can even imagine them having a real family. Love Declan! This is about Declan and Marian. As always VEGAS has a way to bring the best and worst of people, but in a good way. Marian and Declan meet on the plane, but then part ways as they are both there to join a wedding party, well surprise, surprise, surprise, they end up at the same hotel. This is only the beginning of what is going to come a night at the bar becomes a wake up to being married!
Love this couple especially as the beginning it is more of convenience factor, but it is until thing start to roll out that it shows to be more than what they both expect. Marian has trouble accepting but Declan is one to want to fight for this more than anything even when he thinks it is a losing case. I love him so much!

(Almost) Too afraid to take a chance
One Hot Fake by Sarah J Brooks is a good romance read! The characters, Declan and Marian have one wild night that comes to a screeching halt the next morning. For this couple, what happens in Vegas does not stay in Vegas! But for good reason.
The plot is emotionally charged, the characters have backstories that prompt all kinds of feels and as the fake marriage becomes all too real, new walls are erected to hide vulnerabilities that the antagonists exploit.
Overall, this fake marriage romance is super steamy, Declan is dreamy and romantic, Marian is sweet and savvy, and their HEA is hard won, but full of heart and happiness all around.

We met Declan in Ace's story. When we meet in this story, Declan he is going to a wedding in Las Vegas. Marian sits next to him on the plane. They meet at the hotel and again in the bar later. They think it is a marvelous idea to run off and get married. They head back to LA. Marian wants a baby and Declan needs a wife. Marian breaks her first rule by trying for a baby the old fashioned way. They have many hot and steamy times together. They keep coming together and then making mistakes with each other. They also have outside forces trying to keep them apart. Marian and Declan have to listen to their hearts and get past all the nonsense and make a life and love for themselves. This is a great read you will really enjoy it!

What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, right? Maybe not. Declan and Marian are strangers that meet on a plane, then see each other again at their hotel. That night, they drink way too much alcohol, and end up waking up the next morning married. We have read this same story many times in lots of books, but then, this book becomes its own story. There are lots of unexpected twists and turns. It is a well written story that sucks you into it, and does not let you go. It is an emotional, sizzling hot story, that also makes you laugh out loud. I loved this book, so I highly recommend it to be your next read.

One hot fake was such a great book and it was well written. The characters were great, the storyline was great and the author did a great job keeping her readers into the book.
What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas? Not all the time. When Declan and Marian met on an airplane on their way to Vegas, they never thought they would see eachother again. Actually the opposite kept happening. They just kept running into eachother.
Well I hate to ruin the plot
But let’s just say the book was great.
I love when the wedding planner finds herself in positions like these :)
What will happen at the end with Declan, Marian, Leonard, Ruby or Mrs. Carter

I like Marian, she is determined, ambitious, confused and she wants more. She does not trust. She needs more than she thinks or wants to admit. I like her personal growth during this story. She is needy and she does not want to be. I like Declan because he is loving, he is more open than he realizes, he is so caring, strong and he is hopeful. He knows early on what he wants and that it is different than what he starts on believing in the beginning of this story. I love the great interaction. The story has parts that are heart rending but in a good way. I love this storyline. I really enjoy this story. I like the villain in this story, not as a person/character but as the villain, it makes sense, it adds to the story.

Sometimes what happens in Vegas, does not stay in Vegas and follows you home. Marian is coerced into going to Vegas to attend a wedding at the bequest of her friends who are unable to go. Declan is sitting on the plane when he starts a conversation with Marian. The two arrive and neither one believes that they will see each other again but wind up at the same hotel and attending the same wedding…and here is where the fun begins. One of the reasons this is one of my go to authors is that she has a way of creating affable characters that feel like friends and as the pages turn, you just get lost in the story. This is one emotional read with unexpected twists that will have all of your senses feeling the heat between these two.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC of this book. This is the fourth book of the Love on Fire series but each book can be read as a standalone.
Marian and Declan meet on a plane. Both going to a friend's wedding in Vegas. Then end up staying at the same hotel. Later that night both end up at the same bar. The chemistry between them is of the charts. The conversation flows as easy as the drinks. Everything is going great until the next morning when they wake up married. Can Declan convince Marian to stay married and give their marriage a chance.
I really enjoyed this book and can't wait for more from this series.

This is the story of Declan and Marian who meet on a plane on their way to a wedding. After the wedding and the hotel bar, they both get drunk. The topic of marriage is brought up and it seems that each of them have a specific reason to get married. She wants a baby and he needs a wife to receive his trust fund. However, Marian's ex-husband was very mean and Declan is a womanizer.
This book is very well written and keeps your attention...They have trials and tribulations just like any married couple, but even more because the marriage is a sham. I enjoyed reading this book and I am sure you will too!

Fast Marriage but slow building of trust
It's a good romance, but a bit predictable after marrying a stranger in Las Vegas, however the characters are good, whether it is Marian, who has built walls around her because of her past or Declan who tends to impose himself in her life and who offers her a somewhat particular deal.
Everything is a story of trust that they must build because their story had an unexpected start, and there're ghosts of their past that come back to haunt them.

This was a great story about Marian and Declan. Marian is on her way to Vegas for her friends wedding. Somehow Declan and Marian end up at the same hotel and after her friends wedding she ends up at the same bar as Declan. They end up drinking and when Marian wakes up she finds that she's married to Declan. Somehow after talking it over they both decide that they will gain what they most want. Declan his trust fund and Marian a baby. No one said anything about love. Will they be able to turn their deal into love? I really liked this story. Marian is on her way to Vegas to attend a wedding after her friends couldn’t go and gave her the plane ticket. Declan is on the same flight. They sit next to each other unaware that both are going to the same wedding. They end up at the same hotel. And that night at the same bar in the hotel. After drinking they decide to get married. After sobering up Marian and Declan decide to stay married till they each get what they want. Soon after Declan realizes that he wants more then it to just be temporary. But Marian doesn’t have the same thoughts. I loved both characters. And there was a few little twist that caught me off guard. This was a good read!

Oh Marian, you don’t have things easy. You desperately need a break but meeting that hot sexy guy on the plane (Declan) must be a sign, especially when you bump into him at the hotel and bar. Problem is having too many drinks and what’s the say “what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas” and you end up getting married. Now the fun begins. A great story of two people who are so meant to be together. So many twists and turns, great plot, fantastic characters that make your hear whirl and I literally couldn’t put this story down.
