💋💋💋

Not a bad story, though it feels very rushed even for a novella.
The characters were good and the plot very good, but sometimes it felt like it was trying to get away from me, things not quite explained as I’d like, reasons for actions and people not gone into enough.
But very readable on the whole

I loved it!

This book is awesome! The story of Orla, Tige, Apollo and Wes is filled with sass, art forgery and a whole lot of steam and was an absolute joy to read! Orla’s father has set her stepsister, Tawny, up in an art gallery and soon, there is trouble afoot! He is away on safari when Tawny accuses Orla of the unthinkable! Through a lawyer friend, she will find Tige and his detective agency and soon they are on the case. While trying to find the evidence they need to clear Orla, the four will grow closer. It isn’t long before the steam is rising between them. They will manage to find out the truth about Tawny, get Orla out of trouble and get the chance to see if a relationship will work between them all.

I read an ARC copy of this book and am volunteering my honest review.

Her Dirty Detectives by Mika Lane is a reverse harem romance. It's the 15th book from the series Men at Work.

Orla Fellowes had ditched her boyfriend and moved into the family home. Since she had no job her father convinced her step-sister to take her as a gallery assistant. Two months later she got arrested for art forgery. With her dad on a safari trip, her only option was her friend/lawyer Benny. He got her out of jail and recommended St. James and Associates private security firm, to
help her with her case. Tige St. James was the new owner of the firm and his associates were Apollo Beck along with West 'Wes" Langley. Since the Fellowes was an important family the guys decided to take her as a client. Orla's world was crushed in one day, she was devastated and so lonely. The three men were more than generous with her to the point they mixed business with pleasure. All was well, but could the guys find the real criminal? What would happen when the case was closed?

One more hot story from the Men at Work series. The plot is nice and mysterious. I loved that even though it was serious it was light and playful as well. The heroin at first appeared as a spoiled rich brat but turned out to be a lovely woman. The men were funny and sexy. Their pasts were very different. One was almost normal, the other had family issues, and the third had a shady past.
Their love scenes were heated and fun. My favorite part was when she joined them.

It's a spicy story perfect for lovers of this genre. I will rate it with 4 stars.

Orla has been arrested and being charged with art fraud. She doesn't even know what that is. All she wants to do is find out why this is happening to her. When she meets three men whom she hopes will help her. One, however, she has met before and well the sparks are still there. Tige, Wes, and Apollo love what they do helping cheaters get what they deserve. When they take a new case their lives are about to change. Now, these four will have to figure out a way to clear Orla's name while trying not to fall in love. Sometimes though fate steps in and we can't help whom our heart wants. Can they clear her name before someone gets to her?

Orla was set up by her stepfather for a crime that she didn’t commit. Her lawyer which is the family one sets her up with three detectives to prove her innocence. As the four work together they have an attraction that they can’t deny. Will they find proof that she’s innocent and still be all together? I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

Orla Fellowes, framed for something she didnt do by her step sister. Luckily her best friend came to the party and got her bail and referred her to some private detectives. And these detectives were hot, and one of them was the man she had slept with just the night before. Willing to help Orla out Tige, Apollo and Wes offer her there couch, but before long its going to be their bed!

I really enjoyed reading this book, it had a great storyline and a wonderful HEA. Five stars

I have loved this series since book 1 and Her Dirty Detectives did not disappoint. Orla and her men have amazing chemistry. When Orla gets wrongfully accused of a crime, she hires Tige, Apollo, and Wes to prove her innocence. To say sparks fly would be an understatement.

Another ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ read by Mika Lane!

I have enjoyed all the books in this series and Orla's story was no exception. I felt for her but it means she gets help from Tige, Apollo and Wes. I loved that each person was different and a strong character but together they were really great. I loved reading this book.

Three sexy detectives hot on the trail of their lady

Orla has a one-night stand, or so she thinks at the time with Tige, who ends up being one of three guys to protect her when she needs it the most. His fellow detectives and friends, are Apollo and Wes. Together, all four of them try to right the wrong that was done to Orla. In the process of joining their team, Orla falls for her three sexy men, and they fall for her right back. At the end of the day, who is saving who?

Having previously read another of the author's "Men at Work" books I pretty much knew what I was going to get and the author delivered it. All of my critiques of the Her Dirty Builders stand here, which is why I really can't give it more than three stars. There is definite potential here for a higher rating, it just requires more polish.

Orla is an out-of-work kindergarten-teacher/daughter of a wealthy and successful (at business, if not love) businessman fresh off a break-up and working with her step-sister at her art gallery Orla soon finds herself in hot water with the law when she is wrongly accused of art forgery by said sister. Her father is out of the country on an African safari with her step-mother and Orla doesn't have many people to turn to when her step-sister locks her out of the family home.

Tige, Wes, and Apollo are the smoking hot detectives her lawyer friend, Bennie, sets her up with to help clear her name. Sparks fly and before you know it, they are investigating their feelings for one another as well as trying to clear her name.

The sexy times seemed to come about rather abruptly, and didn't have as much heat and connection as I like to read. It didn't feel like a natural plot progression and brought to mind a cheesy porno; it's like the author got tired of setting up the actual story and just stuck the characters in a room together, telling them not to come out until the deed was done.

Again, the author throw a lot of interesting plot points up in the air and then seems to forget about them, or glosses over them after making them seem like a big deal (Wes' background and feelings of inadequacy, Apollo's relationship with his family (father), the connection between Apollo's father and Orla's dad, etc) - The reader is left to read between the lines in some cases, which causes a disconnect between the reader and the character. I want to read a story, not play connect the dots, I want to feel a character realize they are worthy of love, or become strong enough to cut people out of their lives when they figure out that nothing good can come of the relationship.

So, while I enjoyed the story, it could have been so much better. Recommended with the caution that there's not much substance/emotion and there are far better RH out on the market.

Infiltrated by Criminals

This story is all about a rich guys daughter getting setup by her father's stepdaughter. She hires the detectives to help her prove she didn't do the crime she's accused of. But her step sister locks her out of the house, her credit cards are maxed out, and she has no place to stay. So she ends up working for the Detectives who are working her case in exchange for a place to stay. They work a few cases together eventually they figure out her case and her father returns. While living and working with the guys she starts a relationship with the three of them. I think the story sounds a lot more interesting than it was. I just kinda felt the girl was just too ditzy for my liking. I think I used to like Mika Lane but this series just seems the have gotten boring, like I am hoping the development of a new story will add to the story but I guess its not happening. This one is probably a good story if you haven't read many reverse harems.

They put the personal touch in PI

Her Dirty Detectives is the fifteenth book in the Men at Work series and let the interrogation begin. The story is about Orla and her three sexy detectives, Apollo, Tige and Wes. When Orla is framed for an art theft and arrested she needs someone on her side to figure out why this is happening and who is behind it. She hires three PI's and ends up with a lot of off-duty services being added in.
This is a fun, entertaining and super sexy RH romance. Sure you can't take it at all seriously but instead just go along for the ride and watch your Kindle start smokin' quickly. Mika Lane once again brings the naughty sexy fun with this book.

I received a copy of this book and am leaving my honest review. My opinions are all my own.

I'm loving this series and I so enjoyed this book, Orla and her men together are so good even though they have come from such different backgrounds but just seem to fit together perfectly.

It's the fifteenth book in the Men at Work series and tells how Orla and her three sexy detectives, Apollo, Tige and Wes met when she was framed and arrested for theft. Through a lawyer, she hires a PI team to find the guilty party and why she was framed.

It's a well-written naughty, fun and entertaining read as well as being a super sexy RH romance, we know it's fiction and not to be taken seriously but so just sit back and enjoy their palpable chemistry.

I read an ARC of this book and am voluntarily writing my review.

Art, action et romance
C’est une bonne histoire torride, avec une enquête, tout en manipulations, avec de bons personnages, même si au début, je n’ai pas vraiment eu l’impression qu’il y ait un lien émotionnel entre les personnages, mais simplement charnel.
Art, action and romance
It's a good steamy story, with investigation, all in manipulations, with good characters, although at first, I didn't really feel like there was an emotional connection between the characters, but just carnal.

Ms. Mika is back with the last book in this awesome series and I am really sad to see this it end. I thought that this was a really good book. I really liked Orla and her men together. These four have different back grounds but they fit together perfectly. This book offered a little bit of everything and I would recommend it and Ms. Mika as a must read author.

This one is a good steamy read. It's book fifteen in the Men at Work, but each story can be read as a standalone. Orla is in a tough spot, and she's being accused of things and turns to detectives to help her out. Apollo, Tige, and Wes are friends and detectives. As the story unfolds with Orla's trouble, she also gets close to Apollo, Tige, and Wes. They definitely have a lot of steamy times but also help with her case. I liked this one from beginning to end.

This book is from a large series that are all great and all standalone. They are all reverse harem romances. Orla was set up for a crime she didn’t commit by her stepsister. Her family’s lawyer sets her up with three detectives to help solve her case. They all have great chemistry and of course there’s lots of heat. This and all the other books in the series are fun and HOT!

Mika Lane always delivers in her books. Her Dirty Detectives is book 15 in the Men at Work series and delivers all the steam! This book, as are the rest in the series, is a reverse harem trope, if that’s not your thing, be aware now.

Orla is being set up for a crime she didn't commit, after being bailed out, she is referred to a trio of private detectives. Hoping for the best, and to get out of the crazy nightmare that has become her life, Orla takes the risk and meets with the men. Little does she know, one of the men already has had her.

Tige, Apollo and Wes are PI’s, and when Orla comes knocking on their door asking for help on a case, they jump at the chance. Their chemistry is hot, and while they each come from a different past, they all connect so well.

The group is so freaking hot together and the story itself is easy to keep up with, if not a little predictable. I always love how Mika’s book ends with a happy ending.
