This is a well written, entertaining, sweet, contemporary holiday romance. It has small town charm, likable, engaging characters, loving and supportive family bonds, a heart warming romance, and a happily ever after ending. This is part of Ms. Scarlett's outstanding Wildwood Falls series and can easily be read and enjoyed as a stand alone.

Hope is coming back to Montana to assist her sister, Joy, when she gives birth. She finds out that she will be staying in the main house on the farm with William Hudson. They spent some time together when Joy married Will’s brother. Will has a past that has kept him from enjoying life and love. This was a sweet Christmas romance with wonderful characters. Montana was a beautiful place to set a Christmas story with the snow capped mountains and a hunky cowboy! Thank you to GoodReads for this ARC.

'Christmas Crush on the Rancher' by Heather Scarlett the third book in her Wildwood Falls is a standalone romance with no cliffhanger set during the Christmas holidays and tells the story of Hope William and William (Will) Hudson. Hope and Will first meet at the wedding of her sister, Joy, to his brother, Luke, seven months ago. It was a short visit and Hope went back home to Florida after the weekend. But not until she and Will shared a very passionate night together and then he ran out on her. Too bad because that had been the best night of her life. Unbeknownst to Hope it had been Will's most sensuous experience and only time he had been with a woman which is why he panicked and left so abruptly.

When Joy got pregnant she asked Hope if she could come back to Montana and help. As the due date got near, Hope lost her job and decided instead of looking for a new one she would go visit Joy and help with the baby. Unfortunately she did not realize she would be staying with Will. She should be able to hide her attraction to Will.

Ms. Scarlett has written a charming and unique addition to her series. The chemistry between Hope and Will is steamy. I liked how Hope was willing to give Will his space and let him set the pace. The story is emotional, with some angst, laughs, secrets, family issues, passion, and plenty of steam. I enjoyed these books and recommend them to anyone who likes some Christmas with their romance.

This is a wonderfully written story about Will and Hope. Will’s only experience with love and relationships ended tragically so he has doomed himself to not go down that road again. He barely has a relationship with his brothers. He’s lonely but accepts it. That is, until he meets Hope. Her sunny disposition really has him rethinking things.
Hope’s sister is married to Will’s brother. They meet at their sibling’s wedding and have an undeniable chemistry.
Months later, they meet again. They both decide to begin a relationship with an expiration date in site, as Hope lives in Florida and Will lives in Montana. Will has a great deal of difficulty with his feelings for Hope, but she gives him the space and time to work through them. She is incredibly patient with him. Almost by nature, Will, for all intents and purposes is a lonely grump - until Hope turns his world upside down!
Not to worry though because after a slow burn, they get their HEA! This author, Heather Scarlett, is new to me, but I look forward to reading more books from her! I would definitely recommend this book!

Hope is visiting Montana as her sister is getting ready to have a baby. The last time she visited was her sisters wedding and she had an intimate encounter with the grooms brother. Will just wants to be left alone he does not want love or to put himself in the place where he can get hurt. He lost his girlfriend when he was younger and that affected him big time. Well Hope ends up staying with him since he is in the big ranch house and has room for her. He thought he could spend this time and keep away from her. Well fate has other ideas for these two not wanting a relationship.

The story is about family, their ranch and their affection for each other. The story has been set in a small town where everyone knows each other and is happy to help. This story is about second chances.
The characters are well developed and realistic. The feelings of the characters have been described beautifully. The language is simple and the story is a quick read.
The names of the girls, Hope and Joy, give such a Christmassy feel to the book. I am glad I read this book. Now I would really like to read Joy's story.

I found the both main characters a bit confused about what they thought with what they say/behave.

Could not see the chemistry between them. The book starts 7 months after they had a one night stand at their respect siblings wedding. The dialogue sounded a bit awkward. And some scenes rushed.

Im giving 3 stars. This isn’t the first book from this author. I like her others 2 books I read. Maybe it wasn’t my cup o tea.

Hope and William met at the wedding of her sister to his brother seven months ago. Now she is expecting and Hope is coming to help her. Will has room at his place so she is staying with him, but will they totally reconnect like at the wedding? The characters are terrific, with great backstories and intense feelings. The storyline has great dialogue, surprises, tension, romance and much more. Loved their chemistry and fun situations. Great ending.

A well written perfectly paced story pulling you in from the start. It took a Christmas miracle like they say for Will to finally come to terms with grief and guilt he has had for years. Hope struggled a bad deal she has to turn around and make it better for herself. A small town brings everyone together and you can't go wrong in reading this story.

Clean romance

If you enjoy a clean romance, this could be a good quick read for you. The story felt like it had some missing parts at times, but it was good overall.
