Misaki đã luôn thích anime và game - cậu ta luôn muốn trở thành một nhà thiết kế ra những thứ đó. Tuy nhiên, Misaki luôn ghen tỵ với "đối thủ" Kaname - người lúc nào cũng giỏi giang từ khi cả hai cùng học thiết kế. Misaki quyết tâm sẽ hết sức ngang bằng và thậm chí là vượt mặt Kaname.
Mình thích nét vẽ khắc họa hình ảnh nam tính của hai nhân vật, Misaki và Kaname. Câu chuyện có sự hài hước, biểu cảm trên gương mặt của câc nhân vật đều gây cười.
Bên cạnh đó, Daisy Jealousy là câu chuyện đi đôi giữa "tình yêu" và "đam mê". Mình hiểu lý do mà Kaname thích Misaki - người vốn ghen tỵ với khả năng xuất chúng của Kaname; chỉ cần nhìn nét vẽ là đủ hiểu Kaname nhìn thấy sự chăm chỉ của Misaki thế nào rồi.
Và một phía khác, Daisy Jealousy khắc họa "sự ghen tỵ", nghe có vẻ ghen tỵ thì có làm sao? Nhưng sự ghen tỵ của câu chuyện này khiến mình buồn!!! Bởi vì Misaki ghen tỵ với Kaname - nó bắt đầu cho những mặc cảm, tự ti, xấu xa và lẫn tuyệt vọng trong con người cậu ta - dẫn đến tình yêu của cả hai xa dần, lẫn niềm đam mê của Misaki phút chóc tan biến. Tình yêu và đam mê đi đôi với nhau tạo nên một sự quyết tâm đến lạ kỳ.
Sau cùng, mình thấy ghen tỵ với Misaki và Kaname, bởi họ vẫn tìm ra mục tiêu và đam mê mà họ hướng tới - điều với một đứa vẫn đang thất nghiệp và mất phương hướng như mình không có :))) lẫn tình yêu...
Thiệt sự có một vài cảnh trong cuốn sách "bỏng mắt" quá trời!!! Đọc xong tui mới biết Tanaka Ogeretsu cũng là tác giả của ヤリチン☆ビッチ部 Yarichin Bitch Club :)))

In this manga, we follow Misaki, a young man who is passionate about working in the gaming industry. While in college, he meets Kaname, another aspiring game designer who is a genius at what he does. Misaki looks up to Kaname but can’t help his growing jealousy over his seemingly natural talent. They develop a friendship, but a misunderstanding right before graduation causes them to go their separate ways.
Four years later, Kaname became a freelance developer and took a job with Misaki’s company. While there, Kaname explained that their misunderstanding in college was due to his feelings for Misaki. The two then start a sort-of relationship that is hindered at every turn by Misaki’s lingering jealousy of Kaname’s career success.
I bought this manga without really knowing what it was about. I had no idea that the jealousy referred to in the title had to do with a love interest’s career skill (though where the “Daisy" part comes in, I have no idea). When I figured it out, I wasn’t sure I’d like it, but it really wasn’t that bad. It’s a very realistic story, and I liked the plot line. Only after finishing it did I notice that there was glossary in the back that gave the definitions of the various terms used in game design, but not knowing what those terms meant in no way hindered my enjoyment of the story. 3.5 stars

Muy disfrutable. Desde el principio se ve que a Kaname le gusta Misaki, pero Misaki se debate entre la admiración por el talento de Kaname y la envidia que le provoca llegar a su nivel, lo que provoca muchos malos entendidos, pero si caer en demasiados dramas.

4.5/5! I really liked how the topic of jealousy was handled throughout the story. Mistaking feeling inferiority complex was palpable and felt real rather than a forced issue for plot reasons like a lot of others. Kaname staying in love even after Misaki's first rejection... I love fools in love. I really, really liked it and the art is so good so if you're looking for a one-shot with a good story this is definitely a great choice!

Misaki ha sempre avuto la passione per la grafica, così decide di intraprendere il percorso di studi liceali in un istituto tecnico. Oltre ad avere questa grande passione, Misaki è un ragazzo ambizioso e non appena incontra Kaname - un ragazzo silenzioso, nonché il migliore della classe - comincia a provare invidia verso di lui. Cosa accadrà quando, un giorno, capirà che Kaname non l'ha mai visto come un nemico da abbattere?
Come sempre la Tanaka non si smentisce mai, in ogni volume mi fa palpitare il cuore come pochi riescono a fare. Chi mi conosce da tempo, sa che io preferisco di gran lunga le serie ai volumi autoconclusivi, ma quando si parla dell'Ogeretsu Tanaka, abbiate le orecchie tese per avere un mio parere in merito.
Era da tanto che non leggevo un manga senza distrarmi, rimanendo rapita dalle pagine. La storia di Misaki e Kaname, seppur per un'oretta e mezza, mi ha fatto sclerare e sorridere. Essendo un volume unico il carattere dei personaggi non è articolato nei minimi dettagli, ma li ho adorati lo stesso.
Ciò che mi ha fatto storcere un po' il naso sono stati i salti temporali improvvisi, dove non veniva specificato neanche quanto tempo passasse, ma per il resto lo consiglio a tutti quelli che si vogliono avvicinare al mondo degli yaoi e a chi vuole riprendere a leggere manga🤍

Mostly very sweet with a bit character growth. A bit too much blushing for me at times otherwise the art was good. I did cry a good portion of it. Don’t know why. But I did. It hit me weirdly 😅😭… Anyway. It was different from what I had envisioned first but I did end up liking it, a great deal.

This felt like it should have a sequel. Like it was complete, but open to more and needs more. I'm conflicted about how I feel about this one. There were aspects of it I liked, but a lot more that I feel confused about. The work talk was a lot more prominent than expected, which honestly doesn't bother me too much, but at times it felt more focused on the work and the jealousy over it than the relationship. I think this could've been better if it was longer or had a sequel. The second half felt so rushed. The relationship was a little confusing and idk I just wish it was better. A little disappointed because I was looking forward to this one since I like Tanaka Ogeretsu's more serious works, but this one missed the mark for me.

I have to admit, I wasn’t really happy with all the timeskips, but that may just be because I personally can’t follow how one could still love another after so many years of rejection. Despite all that, I still really liked Kaname as a character and thought of him as adorable. It was nice to see Misaki get over his jealousy and for them to work together in the end, although it did take Misaki a while to realize all of it.
Not exactly something I’d reread, but still liked it regardless.

This is a really well-done one-shot BL manga. My only warning is that the theme of jealousy (which yes, it is in the title) is very prevalent in the story of the main couple, with one constantly comparing themself to the other and their accomplishments, so it might be a story you have to set down for a second and come back to because the emotion can be a lot. I think it is really well done and worth the read, just be mindful of your own headspace.

I quite enjoyed this manga. I wasn't super into the romance, but the romance wasn't really the main point. The story mostly focused on Misaki and his inferiority complex toward Kaname. I thought this was really well done and I really empathized with Misaki, even though he was clearly heavily flawed and in the wrong. I do wish we could have seen more of Misaki's growth and a bigger apology, but I still liked his arc overall

This story feels genuine in the sense that it could have actually happened and how jealousy can damage a good relation. I enjoyed it a lot and it didn’t have consent issues unlike other books I’ve read.
The art is beautiful and the characters were relatable.
I feel this is a good story which talks about the importance of communication and focuses on common issues between individuals. The misunderstandings throughout aren’t too cliche, but rather normal which is a fresh breath of air.
Also, it’s nice to see stories where characters bond over a common interest since usually romances feel like they just suddenly appear through plain romantic or sexual attraction. It often feels forced and illogical but that’s probably what was intended. But not here, here it feels natural that romance would blossom.
Over all, I liked it a lot. I felt I wanted to read more beyond this one manga.

I knew this would be one of those “full range of emotion” mangas, but I still wasn’t prepared by how well the mangaka portrayed the bitterness and hurt of jealousy. The other aspects were good too, don’t get me wrong… but as someone who has been forced to give up basically all of her dreams due to illness, I’m no stranger to career (and talent) jealousy. I felt for Misaki deeply.

really had to force myself through the latter half of this. the college stuff was kind of cute but everything after the timeskip just really missed for me and i felt like there was zero chemistry. i really wanted to like this but it just didn't click for me.

Vom Titel her hat mich die Story eigentlich nicht angesprochen. Bei der Beschreibung wurde ich jedoch skeptisch und habe mich lange nicht gewagt, mir diesen Manga näher anzusehen. Doch ich wurde überrascht.
In erster Linie ist mir der sehr schöne Zeichenstil aufgefallen. Der entspricht meinem Geschmack und ist sehr schön. Das Einzige, was diesen etwas stört, ist wieder einmal die Zensur bei intimeren Szenen. Sie passt nicht zu dem sonst so schönen Zeichenstil.
Die Handlung des Mangas erstreckt sich über einen längeren Zeitraum und lässt sich gut in drei Abschnitte einteilen. Der erste Abschnitt beginnt als sich die beiden Protagonisten während ihrer Ausbildung zu Programmierern kennenlernen.
Misaki ist eher der lebendige Typ, der für seine Leidenschaft, Spiele zu spielen zu entwickeln brennt. Er möchte unbedingt zu einer bestimmten Spieleentwicklungsfirma. Dafür arbeitet er sehr hart, um sein Können zu verbessern. Doch er kommt anscheinend nicht an das Talent von Kaname, seinem Mitschüler ran. Dieser scheint ein absolutes Naturtalent zu sein. Kaname ist eher ruhig und zieht sich schnell von anderen zurück. Im Gegensatz zu Misaki ist er nicht im Klassensystem integriert und stößt seine Mitschüler meistens eher vor den Kopf. Doch mit Misaki freundet er sich an. Die beiden verbringen viel Zeit miteinander. Doch der Neid von Misaki zerfrisst ihn und die Freundschaft, die die beiden teilen. Doch Kaname empfindet mehr für Misaki als Freundschaft und zeigt ihm das.
Danach verlieren sich die beiden schnell aus den Augen und treffen erst Jahre später wieder aufeinander. Sie arbeiten gemeinsam an einem Projekt zusammen und kommen sich näher. Doch auch hier wird die Beziehung der beiden durch den Neid von Misaki auf eine harte Probe gestellt.
Jahre später hat Misaki seinen Traum aufgegeben und begegnet Kaname wieder. Dabei wird ihm klar, wie sehr er seinen Traum liebt und möchte wieder zurück in die Welt der Videospiele. Doch klappt es dann auch mit Kaname, wenn er begreift, dass sein Neid ein Störfaktor ist?
Die emotionale Seite von Misaki wird hier sehr gut dargestellt. Das mochte ich sehr. Man kann schon verstehen, wie er empfindet und warum er teilweise so überzogen handelt. Dennoch fand ich es Kaname gegenüber unfair. Dieser hat ihm eigentlich nichts getan und sogar mit ihm privat an Projekten gearbeitet, um seine Fähigkeiten zu schulen. Doch so sah Misaki das gar nicht. Und er ist an seinem Neid zerbrochen. Das hat man gespürt. Er musste selbst er klar werden, dass er nie dieses Level erreichen kann. Aber dafür seine eigenen Fähigkeiten hat, auf die er vertrauen muss.
Schade fand ich hingegen, dass man nie Kanames Gedanken- und Gefühlswelt präsentiert bekam. Ich hätte Kaname gerne näher kennengelernt und mehr über ihn erfahren. Gern hätte ich auch gesehen, dass die beiden Männer besser miteinander kommunizieren. Das fehlte mir auch.
Aber trotz allem ist „Daisy Jealousy“ ein unglaublich schöner Manga, der mir überraschend viel Freude beim Lesen bereitet hat.

Saw this manga dealt with jealousy about skill & opportunities, got curious, and then immediately got cynical because manga, especially romantic manga, tend to go too extreme too quickly with their emotions for me to actually feel anything. But to my surprise I felt like I could connect with the characters and all their flaws here. Career anxiety and imposter syndrome are universally trash, turns out.
It did go in circles quite a bit, but the resolution was sweet .

Jedne z lepszych yaoi jakie miałam okazje kiedykolwiek przeczytać.
Pomijając oczywiste sceny jakie możemy tutaj znaleźć, historia ta świetnie rozwinięta jest pod kątem psychologicznym. Autorka świetnie ukazała uczucia głównego bohatera, który przez ogrom problemów i wątpliwości przestał radzić sobie w życiu codziennym i znienawidził swoją największą pasję.
Między innymi to właśnie dlatego tak bardzo podobała mi się ta historia, ponieważ doskonale rozumiem wszystkie uczucia Misakiego.

Art is amazing, plot is great and if it was based solely on that it would be 5 stars, but I rarely dislike a main character enough to knock off a star from a 5 star rating (and I'm generally even into villains). My issue here is that there wasn't enough of a redemption arc for me to think the main character deserved a happy ending really. I guess I just wanted to see him suffer a bit more for being such a knobhead.

Wow! Mit Abstand mein liebstes Werk von der Mangaka. Gerade Misaki hat es mir angetan! Ich konnte den Kerl so gut verstehen! Dazu eine Geschichte, die mit so viel Feingefühl geschrieben wurden ist, dass ich sie einfach nur lieben kann!

I like how the author highlighted the feeling of jealousy with someone more talented and how MC was able to reconcile his feelings towards ML. Idk why this has such a low rating. The story is very relatable, and the main characters are truly human with flaws😭❤️

Es lindo, sin embargo, en el desarrollo de Misaki siento que aún falta profundidad.
La historia no está nada mal, y creo que con 8 capítulos atraparon bien todo lo que podían contar con esta pareja.
