So I can 100% say that I greatly dislike Sloane Murphy right now. I say this with so much appreciation for her as an author, but I really really hate her. Seriously woman! First you end book one like that & then now book 2 ends ever worse!!!!! Please tell me that book 3 comes out in another week because I need to know what happens!
If you cannot tell from the above, this book ends on a bit of a cliffy and I am just a bit salty about it. Beyond my disgust, this book is so epic! It is pure genius! First off I love the relationship changes that Luna goes through. Also we very much make up for the lack of steam in book 1, we definitely make up for it. Holy hotness Luna is in for such a good ride 😉.
If you haven’t started this series please do, now I just need to find the time to read more of Sloane Murphy’s books while I wait for book 3.

Aalpha Bound dives straight back into the chaos that ensued with Luna and Maddox.
There is so much going on in Alpha Bound, elements I never even would have guessed popped up and they fit into the story extremely well. Seeing Luna, Maddox and the rest of the gang trying to take control more and become real leaders of the pack is lovely to see. I was rooting for them the whole way.
I loved the concept of the plot throughout and where everyone works so much closer together to achieve the outcome. Even Jackson tried to help and turn a new leaf. Everyone loves a trier. I would have liked to have seen more of Jackson because he played such a major part in the last book but Luna and Maddox's scenes together made up for that most of the time.

Holy Fates this book is absolutely phenomenal! The rollercoaster of emotions that this book took me through were crazy. The story of Luna, Maddox, and even Jackson left me grilling my kindle demanding more.
I’ll be honest the cliffhanger at the end of this book left me staring off into space in tears. I need more, I refuse to believe anything bad will come from the end of this book.

Sloane Murphy... you are evil. The Best and the worst!
Wow, this book was totally unexpected and fantastic. I was totally team Jackson from the beginning. I was so mad when things didn't exactly things didn't work out the way I hoped it would. But now I have a new plan for Luna's love life. I didn't read the rest of the saga, I really look forward to reading the rest. But I'm hoping things turn out the way they did for Maddox's parents (If I understand correctly, Madd has more than one "father". And with Madd being Alpha Alpha born, Luna being alpha born, and Jackson technically is alpha born too. That would be a bad ass power base! So that's my plan, I guess we will have to see what the evil Sloane Murphy's plan is. lol. She is only evil because she leave you with some badass cliff-hangers. If you have a problem with cliff hangers, I'd avoid these books. If your normal, and understand how series work and love fantasy... I would def recommend reading these books. Don't try and read the Luna books out of order. The saga, you can get by without reading the rest. Although I do wish I had read them in order. Its totally possible. I loved the dual narration this time. It totally worked well with this book. Both narrators did a fantastic jobs. Some narrators are so boring they make a great book, not so good. Thankfully, these narrators added to it. I can't wait to see what happens with the rest of the Luna books. And I most definitely want to read the rest of the saga. Sloane, you are an evil genus! I love u! lol

Stop right now! I am too emotionally unstable right now to even be writing this review! Holy crap! No! Why? How? Sloane I hate and love you all at the same time right now. You have sucked me into this beautiful, intricate world and made me fall in love with these incredible characters and then you do me like this?!!
Aaaaarrrggghh. This series is one of the best pnr series ever!! Legit. I am so emotionally invested in these characters, these relationships, and this world. I loved it so much that it has me screaming. I am so gutted that it has me screaming. It is over and I need answers and justice and someone is gonna pay for breaking my dag heart.

Thankfully this book picked up right where book 1 left off because that was intense. It’s fast-paced and full of angst, action, tragedy, adventure, battles with fate herself … I cannot recommend this series enough.

I picked this book because I love paranormal romance and fated mates. I even like rejected mates but I also like closure. This didn’t feel like a complete story to me. It was like clean up the cliffhanger from book 1 then start working on the cliffhanger ending to book 2 with a lot of sex in the middle. This made me feel like the author mostly wanted to manipulate me to keep reading. I don’t mind everything not being resolved but at least the conflict should be. Also I was confused what age these people were. They had parents and were being told what to do but also having graphic sex? If the premise is interesting to you be prepared to read all three books for a resolution.
I listened to the audiobook version of this book and thought the narrators did a great job! I definitely recommend the audiobook version of this book!

This is the second book of the series, and in an already established -verse, but I found this one without having read any of the others and wasn't lost. It was obvious some characters were from other stories, but there was enough background and information given to make things clear.
Alpha Bound is a well-crafted, fast-paced story is full of twists, action, drama, tragedy, triumph, betrayals, and steam. Luna and Maddox — wow. Their love story isn't an easy one, and takes readers on an emotional roller coaster.
The world building is imaginative and makes sense. It's a great story for fans of steamy paranormal romances, and with the other series and books, there are plenty of stories to get immersed in.
Meg Price and Matthew Winchester gave fantastic performances that built through the narrative to the crazy cliffhanger ending.

Alpha Bound picks up where Luna Rising ends off. I feel for Luna and I can understand Jackson's reasoning for rejecting her, but it doesn't make the matter any less craptastic! I love Maddox and he may be the only reason I am not raging at Jackson because I can not help but root for Maddox. I love the world building in this series, it helps with drawing in my attention for the long haul. I have been having trouble finishing books I've started recently, but this one got me out of my slump! I will totally pick up Book 3 when it comes out in audible! I would rec this book to anyone who loves PNR, shifter romance. BUT be warned this ending will leave you an emotional wasteland. I wanna cry for Luna.

This one took a different turn. I did not love it nor hate it but it just seemed to go off I to left field. I really feel sorry for Luna as it seems nothing is going her way. I came to love Maddox and his family and her too but this really became twisted and mean. I cared for the well being of these characters and the author just keeps tearing them down. I was eager to get back into their story to find out what happened after the last book. This one too ends with a cliffhanger.
What I enjoyed was another narrator was brought in to be the male voices. That added a different look to the story. Meg Price still did amazing. Matthew Winchester was a pleasant surprise.

Not how I saw this going, the first book had no smut, this one has quite a bit. I did enjoy it for the most part though.

Gifted audio, the narration was ok but one of those occasions that the dual narration didn’t 100% work together. Female narrator gave the male lead a total different vibe than when the male narrator was speaking leaving Me thinking they were almost two different characters.
First time I’ve heard of being able to break a fated bound too so that’s new.
I’ve seen reviews on the third instalment ….. interesting to hear where this series going …..

This is the second story in the "Shadow Legacies" series. The series consists of three stories: "Luna Rising", "Alpha Bound" and "Alpha Born". They need to be read in order. This one picks up with where the last one leaves and ends with an epic cliffhanger. There is a lot going on in the paranormal read. It is an emotional roller coaster read that keeps you captivated in the story. I like the characters as well. A very intriguing and interesting story-line and I look forward to reading the next one to see how everything wraps up.

Book 2 in the series. It was well written and entertaining; I truly enjoyed it. The book brings your emotions through so many twists and ups and downs. There are so many obstacles to their love working out, it is never an easy ride. The cliff hanger at the end is tortuous, I wanted to know the rest! I am not a patient enough person to wait for book 3. The steamy scenes were well done. Narration was excellent.

It was good, the first half and a bit. But to me it kinda faded a bit. Expected more from the main task and war..
I loved the pairing and the smut. I enjoyed seeing that side to them. But yea ...the legacy is not as impressive as the original.
Just the dirty talk is worth the read.
I feel like I need to note this down as a manual for partners 🤔
The ending...well it just crashes my heart....I think book 3 may just be too much of a twist for me...

I adore Luna & Maddox & Nova & even Jackson, but to also get Remy and her guys makes this story so, so good! Heart stopping action and drama mixed with amazing romantic scenes keeps you turning the pages. That ending... OMG. My mind is spinning and my heart breaking. I love Luna and even more so seeing her in this book. My heart broke so many times with that ending that I need book 3 to mend me back together. I honestly can't wait. I LOVE luna's love interest, he is a perfect mixture of swooniness, hot and dominant. Alpha Bound is the second book in the trilogy involving Luna, Maddox, and the gang. Luna is a bad a$$ who finally gives in and falls in love only to have everything she cares about almost taken from her in a blink of an eye. Of course it ends on another cliffhanger that I’m not sure I can handle. Loved it.

I guess I skipped book 1 and went straight to book 2. Even if I start with book 2, I can honest say that I don’t think I miss much from book 1. So there’s a cliffy in this book and I’m not sure if I like it so much lol.

I had trouble getting into this story the steamy parts were great but the rest I tended to get frustrated. Ive read other things from this author so I cant say this is my favorite from her unfortunately.

The plot is great but the dialog is too much sometimes making the action slow. Book 1 & 2 could have been one book if the extra unnecessary self dialogue was removed. The ending !!!! Way to build a cliffhanger but from the reviews of the final book I am not sure if I will read the last book.

Ending has me in suspense
Great action. The characters developed nicely. Loved the different settings. In the end there were so many twists i wasn't sure which way it would go.
