When Trisha Kishore decided to explore herself in a journey decided by series of numbers, little did she know that this unplanned journey will give her so much more than she expected. In her quest she will discover the beauty beyond the glass windows of her office, amazing people and their shocking lifestyle and most important she will find herself again.

The Blind Fate is a light-hearted contemporary fiction about a business leader Trisha who's on her early thirties. One day she realizes the thing missing in her life is herself, and to connect with herself again she decides to travel and explore. As expected a new place welcomed her with the warmth she was searching and new people followed suit. Things starts to get interesting here as we read about each of these people through Trisha's perspective. The more I read, the more I liked the characters of this book. Though Trisha's character is highly relatable, it's those other characters who actually shaped her imagination in this book, and through them she was gaining more experience and knowledge about life.

“𝑯𝒐𝒎𝒆 𝒊𝒔 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒂 𝒑𝒍𝒂𝒄𝒆 𝑻𝒓𝒊𝒔𝒉, 𝒊𝒕'𝒔 𝒂 𝒇𝒆𝒆𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑰 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒌. 𝑰𝒕 𝒊𝒔 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒉𝒐𝒓, 𝒊𝒏 𝒂 𝒑𝒐𝒓𝒕, 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒉𝒐𝒍𝒅𝒔 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒘𝒉𝒆𝒏 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒉𝒊𝒕 𝒂 𝒔𝒕𝒐𝒓𝒎. 𝒀𝒐𝒖 𝒆𝒙𝒑𝒍𝒐𝒓𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒍𝒅 𝒔𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒄𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒔 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒂𝒍𝒘𝒂𝒚𝒔 𝒉𝒂𝒅 𝒂𝒕 𝒉𝒐𝒎𝒆.”

Writing style is very simple, lucid and beginner-friendly due to it's layman nature. Although it's centered on Trisha only, other characters warm up the reader's mind equally. It was a bit irritating to read the extra non essential details. Quite fast paced and can be read in one sitting. I would recommend this to absolute beginners and beginners also, for it's a book you would like to read in your leisure time.

This is the story about Trisha who works in an IT firm based in Mumbai. But she is unhappy with her job. She feels like she has focused more on her career and did not live life fully.

This book is her journey towards finding herself where every milestone in that journey is decided by the Fibonacci number.

I will admit I enjoyed this book way more than I was expecting to. Granted few parts and dialogues were cliched, but overall I had a great time reading it.

Firstly, the involvement of Fibonacci number was very interesting and unique. The main character, Trisha, was taking steps and going on vacation based on the Fibonacci number was quite daring of her. She ends up in Bali and there she forms many great friendships.

I loved the friendships and relationships in this book. The friendship with Lisa, Abhi, Faiz, and Angad in Bali felt very genuine and wholesome. Her relationship with her parents was also adorable and sweet. There was also a romantic fling in Bali and I thought that was done well too and I was happy with how that relationship turned out to be in the end.

The ending of this book was bittersweet and I liked how the story ended. Overall, I really enjoyed this book and will definitely recommend this book. ✨

SELF EXPLORE

The title of the book and the cover page has grasped my attention initially. THE BLIND FATE , while glancing this title I thought I might have been about a story of a girl, who is struggling with her fate. But not like that. This story frame has drastically interlinks with the self realisation of the protagonist.

Trisha, the protagonist is an obedient child to her parents. She has to financially support her father from tender age. But that makes her a business leader in an IT firm. That gives quality to her life. She lives for her parents. Side by all these she has completed CA. As a single woman she has broken all the replenished hurdles in her life. Later she has started to missing something in her life. In that point she wants to self explore herself. There she has decided to start a journey of her self realisation.
What are the changes she had in this journey?
What are the new springs blossomed in her life?
What are the impact they left in herself?
Is the moving story.

The language is rational. The plot is intriguing. The characters are well developed in their space. This story has its unique perspective of woman healing. I recommend this book to all.

Trisha has been working all her life to achieve the perfect professional life. Born and raised in the city of dreams Mumbai, and busy chasing her goals, Trisha has seldom lived her life for herself. Until she meets Varun. Varun's carefree yet responsible lifestyle intrigues Trisha and she decides to take a leap of faith.

Always an admirer of the Fibonacci series, Trisha decides to leave her fate on numbers and follows these numbers as a "sign" that defines her life now. Thus the story follows her journey to Bali, where she makes friends and finally lives a life where she gets to work on her growth.

This book has a very pleasing take on platonic relationships, living-life-at-the-moment, and freely loving whoever you want. Even though the story tells you that leaving your life up to fate isn't a bad idea, somehow I felt that the book didn't have anything more to offer. I did love the sweet moments of friendship, and Trisha's unrestricted and unrestrained love though.

I picked up this book for its intriguing blurb and the attractive cover and yes the tag line as well. The Blind Fate as the title reads, is a story of Trisha, a successful business leader in an IT firm. She is an achiever, who did not give up in the most turbulent times. In the race of life to keep up with the demands of others, we often overlook the importance of the ME time, we need to give ourselves. That's what happens to Trisha. The realisation dawns upon her one day and there begins the quest of discovering her true self. How she moves forward in her journey which is decided by numbers in a mathematical series is fascinating.

The book focuses on love, life and destiny. It's about discovering one's inner self to live a life of satisfaction and inner peace. Among the different roles Trisha plays as the confident professional, lovable dedicated daughter I liked the courageous individual who took a solo trip to explore places and discover her own self as well.

The book is an easy read with simple language and smooth narration. The characters are placed well. The description of places are good. The plot is relatable. The writing style is simplistic. The scenes set in Bangalore was enjoyable for me.

My Verdict
A good engrossing read

Discovering your own individuality, finding oneself, is simply a discovery that is found through the journey of life. Everyone wants to make a difference – to live a life of valuable contribution and the start of that is to realize that human potential has no limits. I believe we all have great amounts of creative power trapped within us, applying your individual strengths, whether it would be through creativity, leadership, or knowledge, we all can unlock that power trapped within us. In the interior of every being lies a compelling urge for change, for growth into a deeper and richer state of existence.

I was completely taken by the beautiful book cover and the title made me assume it to be Historic fiction at first.
As I started reading, I totally loved the way the story began.
I like books where female characters are strong, where they are capable of taking responsibilities and be the warriors and saviours of others rather than being victims.
The story proved to be exactly as per my choice even though I misunderstood in the beginning.
This book offers a journey of Trisha in various phases of her realisation.

Trisha can represent wide female audience who are working for their loved one's leaving behind the most important aspect.
The plot is formed with a blend of sensitivity and inspiring lives.
It could have been the usual story if it was flat just with human emotions, but this book stands out unique as the Authors have worked really well with the number theory.
At some point, I realised this book not just talks about female folk but talks about every single person who resembles Trisha irrespective of gender and age.
Overall a gripping, sensitive and unputdownable book.
Recommended to everyone.

As cliché as it may sound, there is no better way to find yourself, your purpose and your happiness than the present. ‘Who am I?’ is the one question which has been asked by ourselves throughout our lives, in so many different and distinct ways.

And even though popular imagination consigns self-discovery to adolescence, the work of finding yourself is lifelong. It has been quite evident that knowing, understanding and deciding who we are can bring a clarity of purpose, a slow healing, and a steady sort of pleasure to our lives.

In the book, ‘Blind Fate’ by Kanika Aggarwal and Uttasha Khare, we see the story of our main protagonist as she ventures through the journey about finding her past, but ends up discovering her present and her future.

The main lead of our story, Trisha has always been someone who loves to do things in a way that are perfect to the tee, and this quality or rather habit of hers has resulted in her being an overachiever. Due to this, she has reached to a point where she is on the top of her game.

However, as they say, there always comes a certain point of time in our life when we realize that even if we have all the materialistic things on the outset, we need that mental peace which will only be achieved via discovering our true self. And similarly, Trisha feels the same and embarks on her pursuit.

I loved the way how different emotions of our protagonist were portrayed as well as a certain connection was made using different elements, hence I am going to give this book FIVE FATE STARS ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

📍 The story starts with a girl watching herself as a warrior fighting a war against the enemy in a dream. She gains senses when alarm sound goes to her mind. The dream almost felt real to her. For a quite sometime she is finding herself in such dreams.

📍 It was 4 in the morning and she needs to leave for Bangalore as she has a presentation.

📍 She touched the Ganesha statue to thank him for today. It has been gifted to her by her school friend Rumi.

📍 Trisha did her schooling in an all girls convent, she had a desire to succeed and CA (Chartered Accountancy) presented her that opportunity to get successful in her life. She studied real hard and got succeed in it. Her parents her a lot in that.

📍 Now she is working in an IT firm, in Mumbai. She is doing great there. Her mother wants her to see someone for herself, so she met this Ankit guy twice but she didn't quite like him and she said she will look for someone.

📍 This book contains Trisha’s journey, where she has started to explore her own self.

📍 There are many characters in the book, so it's hard to keep it all here. The story is quite interesting as it moves further. There is some role of Mathematical numbers, in her finding her own self.

📍 The language of the book is quite easy so beginners can also go for it. This is absolutely not for kids, adults can definitely go for it.

📍 Will Trisha be able to find her own self? What's her things with the numbers? What are the roles of the other characters? Is destiny a thing in all of this?

📍 Check out the book to find out more.

'I have postponed my entire life for something ...and now I don't even know what is that 'something'

After a paralytic attack, Trisha's father was bedridden for 2 years and all the responsibilities fell on Trisha. She had to sign up for a job which meant she would have to leave college.
Many years went by and Trisha started earning well. She completed her studies through correspondence, but she was so engrossed in her professional life that she lost contact with her friends. She didn't even have time for herself. Even when everything was stable financially, there was still a void.

"Life is not about hiding from the bruises Abhi. I guess it's about collecting the scars and proving that we've been-there-done-that"

When Varun came into her life, things changed and her perspective towards her work and her life changed too. The more she talked to him, the more she realised what she was missing. And all of a sudden she decided to go on a trip and everything including her destination, where she would stay and what place she would visit would be decided according to the Fibonacci sequence.
And hence, the exciting and thrilling solo trip began where Trisha met many people, made many friends, lived life like she always wanted to and most importantly she rediscovered herself.
Sometimes spontaneous life decisions lead us to something beautiful. The story was fast paced with an interesting plot and I loved the second half of the book more. The trip to Bali was beautiful to read, the places described sounded peaceful yet thrilling!

It is not always necessary to read a book with a pressing storyline which will blow your mind off. Sometimes all that a person needs is a break. A break from this chaotic life and from continuous rapid flowing plots with lots of complicating twists and turns. And therefore, here is a very simple and refreshing read, “The Blind Fate” by Kanika Aggarwal and Utsaha Khare. Both the authors are entrepreneurs and therefore the profession of the protagonist is IT related.

Trisha is a brilliant woman who is doing great in her life and has a beautiful relationship with her parents. Her mother wants her to marry someone and get settled but her father is not yet ready to part with her beloved daughter, though he doesn’t oppose the idea either. While everything was going okay, she had met a guy named Varun who gave her all the attention and love and was doing great in her work as well, she decided to take a break and let it all go.

She took a 2 months break from work and went on a tour to Bali all alone. She realised that life was too short to stay obligated always. So, here she went to life a life with no strings attached. Her trip did her good. She felt rejoiced. Reading about Trisha and her experiences made me feel free. I adore the concept of the book. I could imagine myself in the place of the protagonist and enjoy it just as much.

I recommend this book to all the readers. This is a very different plot and it will make you smile. Happy reading!

In the everyday hustle of giving themselves and their respective families a better life , people usually forget their own existence. They somehow achieve a financially well off lifestyle but aren't really able to explore the boundaries and the extent to which they could have flourished at a personal level. And at the end, we all blame it to destiny forgetting that its our choices and decisions that shapes our destination .

Trisha is working in an IT setup and is quite successful in her professional life. She has had her fair share of struggles but even in the most turbulent times her never say die attitude kept her sane and prompt. One fine day it dawns on her that in the quest of becoming an independent lady she has almost forgotten her own self and it is high time she starts broadening her horizon. And then she sets on a voyage to the length and breadth of a beautiful island nation.

The book is nicely written. It is one of those rare titles that I picked solely on the basis of its soothing cover. Its vibes fill ones with serenity. Also its refreshing to see that the current generation is more into solo travel which is very much needed to detoxify oneself. The novel compels one to never live a life with regrets and try to make every moment worth remembering.

The Blind Fate is a contemporary fiction novel based on the life of Trisha, a youuniqu passionate girl who likes being on the top. She's an overachiever and workaholic and whatever little time she has on her plate, she devoted that in taking care of her parents. Things change only when Trisha realizes that even after having all the materialistic comforts and a high paying job, she's not happy in life as she's missing on something. So, she embarks on a journey to find her true self, not knowing where she's heading to and letting the numbers on the Fibonacci series decide her fate and the next steps on her journey.

The theme was simple but the execution was refreshing. It's a nice warm read for weekends. Story is fast paced. The language is lucid and engaging, hence, it can be a nice pick for beginners.

Although, the plot is quite filmy and certain parts felt cliche, but it was delightful exploring Trisha's journey with her. The novel is centered around the protagonist only but the side characters are well portrayed and gave the book a wholesome vibe. The ending is bittersweet. The idea of using Fibonacci numbers in this way was quite unique and I really appreciate the authors for thinking out of the box. Overall, it was a nice tale of discovering one self and cherishing the small pleasures of life.

The Blind Fate is an amazing and unique book written by two authors Kanika Aggarwal and Utsaha Khare.

Fav quote-
It's amazing when you find yourself in the middle of nowhere... It's even better when in the middle of nowhere you find yourself.

The story revolves around the protagonist Trisha who is very intelligent and focused on her studies. Her parents support her in everything and she is very close to her father. She got a job after she completed her schooling but she is not happy from the inside and wanted to discover her true self.

She has everything but she realized she was missing something and decided to go on a journey to find her true self where every step is decided by a number on a mathematical series that is a Fibonacci sequence. She was obsessed with Fibonacci numbers since childhood so she chose this to find her true happiness. And that led her to the beautiful destination Bali where she met many people, made many friends, and lived her life fully by breaking boundaries.

I appreciate the idea of using the Fibonacci numbers. It was unique and outstanding. The languages of the book are lucid so beginners can go for it.

It's a story of breaking boundaries and letting yourself loose to discover your true self.

Read the book to find out more. Recommended for everyone.

The blind fate

Trisha is a successful career focused girl who had to leave her college to shoulder the responsibility of her ailing father. She loses many precious moments of her youth in the quest to make her parents' lives better. She becomes a chartered accountant and is well placed.

One day she decides to take a 2 month sabbatical and travel to an undecided location to gain some experiences in life. She leaves the planning of the trip on Fibonacci sequence. I found this to be the most bizzare yet interesting part of the plot.

She ends up in Bali. She makes many good friends and has so many experiences which you probably may not have even if you chalk out an itinerary after lots of research. From playing beach volleyball with strangers , to wearing a bikini , hiring an escort , performing in front of an audience, she does it all.

But does she get answers that she was seeking which made her take this trip? Read this book to find out.

The plot of the book is quite unique. The only drawback is that it's stretched a little towards the end. Some crisp editing would have done wonders. If big books overwhelm you then something like this would be a great start as the language is easy to comprehend.

“The beginning of love is the will to let those we love be perfectly themselves, the resolution not to twist them to fit our own image. If in loving them we do not love what they are, but only their potential likeness to ourselves, then we do not love them: we only love the reflection of ourselves we find in them.”

The overall theme of the book at hand revolves around the character of Trisha who like most of us discover new ways to make a way replete with happiness and wellness for her family, but as common it can be she loses herself somewhere thereby obscuring herself amidst all the success, but certain events that follow will mark a much-needed transition for her. The whole of the same extends to 250 pages. The overall book has been well structured and the plot and chapters verily merge into each other in a rather sequenced fashion.

The writing style on the other hand has been kept simple and easy to comprehend. Additionally, what stands out is the fact that how much relatable the content and theme is for its been experienced by people in general. The whole of all these elements makes this book a must-read for anyone willing to go for an insightful read to gain keen insights into their inner selves.

Not often do we realize the importance of a moment amidst the responsibilities and the monotonous lives we've been living?

The Blind Fate by Kanika Aggarwal and Utsaha Khare is one such story of a woman, Trisha who has lived all her life for her parents, for their health, and of course, for her job. Until one day she realizes, that it's time to take out some time for herself and her hobbies.

This book takes you with Trisha on her impulsive solo trip. You explore this character as she explores herself. She meets new people, she makes fresh relations, she performs, she does stupid things, and becomes a free, adventurous soul.

I believe that this book is a perfect example to teach that there isn't a perfect time to start exploring yourself and what you like. Life has different plans for each one of us, and we should embrace the pace it takes us on.

I did feel that the writing could be more engaging, but anyhow, it's a short read with beginner-friendly language. If you're encircled with books with heavy topics and looking for a light, breezy, and impactful read, this might be the one for you.

REVIEW: ● Fibonacci sequence has been used beautifully in this simple yet engaging storyline. The book aims to believe in fate and just go with the flow. It gives away the importance of inner peace, satisfaction and love.
● There are many characters in the story and it's a little hard to keep a track of them all but, the individual character of Trisha is very nicely developed throughout. The relationship of Trisha with her parents is also depicted beautifully in the book.
● The story is fast paced. One may get lost in the events but any lesser pace would make the book very lengthy so, it's good. The language and the narrative of the book is simple yet engaging. Brownie points for the beautiful and catchy book cover.

☆
Overall, I enjoyed the time spent reading this book. Some scenes of the book were very cliché yet, it was great to follow Trisha's journey.

"Don’t worry if people think you’re crazy. You are crazy. You have that kind of intoxicating insanity that lets other people dream outside of the lines and become who they’re destined to be." - Jennifer Elisabeth.

'The Blind Fate', is a novel surrounding a journey of aspiration, love, and the fate that life takes us through. This novel narrates the story of a hardworking girl Trisha who has sporadically lived her life. On the way of chasing and setting high ambitions, Trisha forgot to give herself time and decides to explore herself.

Being an avid follower of Fibonacci series, Trisha decides to lead her life according to numbers. She follows that were the Fibonacci calculations take her, uncovering the other side of her life, discovering and making new friends.

The story initially delineates more of Trisha's life and the people surrounding her. To be added on, it narrates the Fibonacci series and the path Trisha follows. The narrative of the novel is simple, but I felt that the author's could have worked more on it by detailing some twists and turns. The style of portraying was lucid, but it failed to grip the story. Overall, it was a good read.

The blind fate is all about Trisha’s journey who dropped studies to take care of her paralytic father and got into accountant job and simultaneously opted for correspondence degree. Her love for accountant made her to clear CA and now works in an IT firm. Her parents were very supportive and she met Varun, both were good companion to eachother.

But somehow she was not happy with materialistic life where being missed herself who set her own boundaries. So she made a decision to make solo trip to Bali. There she met few friends and this trip thought her many things, discovered herself and joy of being her.

This book is the best example of how to live life to the fullest by giving time to ourself. The language is easy and lucid. The author has covered friendship, love, family, goal to achieve, determination and many more things. All the characters were well defined by author.

Overall it's a good book to read in a cozy corner in this rainy season.

Read this book to know more about Trisha's journey.

Much like Murakami's work.
Strange journey
Strange ending
.
𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝘽𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙙 𝙁𝙖𝙩𝙚 is a fictional travelogue of Trisha, the protagonist.
Fed up of her daily life and her routine. She takes a break from work and believes in Fibonacci series to guide her to the place, where she can find peace and tranquility.
.
Trisha's journey in Bali is beautifully described. She is always in a dilemma whether to dwell into pass, enjoy the present or stay ready for the future. She opens up to the nature.
.
This scenario resonates lives of many people. They think something and do something else. There is a greater message of enjoying the journey rather than looking for perfect destination. There were many points where authors confuse me whether they support the Indian values and culture or do they idiolise the people who are termed to be "modern".
.
I am still sceptical about the role the author has given to most of the characters. The authors has left dead ends and the path quiet open in many scenario. Many questions are kept unanswered and this makes the book beautiful and irritating simultaneously.

The Blind Fate is the story of Trisha, a bright and focused young lady. After completing her education from an all girls convent school she pursued accountancy and soon after landed a job at an IT company. On her mother's insistence she met with a guy but because she felt that the spark or connectivity was missing between them so they went their separate ways after two meetings. Mathematics and numbers play quite a role in Trisha's journey of life and getting to know herself.

However, there is something more crucial than mathematics and reasoning that is guiding Trisha's life path, fate and destiny. You'd think that an individual who has studied probability, permutations and combinations will certainly not be the kind to be on the lookout for destiny's Easter eggs. Nonetheless Trisha realises soon that in making a place for herself in the world she left a topic untouched, the connect with her own self. The lucid prose of the novel moves along the lines of self exploration and living on your own terms. All in all, The Blind Fate makes for an interesting read.
