Rate this book
From AFL, rugby union and cricket to aerial skiing, equestrian sports and speed-skating, Australian sport has produced some of the toughest nuts around. They are the people who played on through injury or overcame potentially catastrophic setbacks to inspire a sports-loving nation. I really enjoyed this book, all fascinating tales. Each person's story was really well told by Mick, with a very personal touch. Each of the people covered come through as being very humble and you see the sacrifices each of them made in their own ways. I really enjoyed learning about each of these sports people, even the ones I had never heard of. Highly recommended.
