I have to say I wasn't sure how I would feel about this one, especially with the ridiculous premise but by the end I was happy with the outcome. I mean when you hear a student intentionally fail an exam for special help from a professor, you don't expect that professor to bend her over his desk in the middle of the day. But that's exactly how these two began. Add in some locked in fun and a time jump epilogue and this is a quick smutty romance worth the hour.

This was my first Mila Crawford book, but it won't be my last!
Good Girl was a quick, but super spicy read that was an amazing break from longer novels! This book had not only the forbidden-ness of Professor/Student but also had the older brothers best friend element! The smut was super hot and there was definitely PLENTY of scenes to keep me entertained.
In standard novella fashion, the HEA is wrapped up super quick and a little much, but hey thats the fun of novellas.

This was some filthy goodness right here! Tristen is Sonia's professor and her brother's best friend. Not to mention the object of her fantasies for the last year. Tired of playing it safe, Sonia sets out to reveal her desire to him in a way he cannot ignore. I couldn't tear my eyes away from the page, I didn't want to miss a thing. i wanted to end the weekend off with a quick novella, and i hoped this one would be good, but it was not 🥲

tristen watt is one of sonia's professors, and also her brother's best friend—her older brother's best friend whom she'd met a year ago, when she was seventeen and he, tristen, was twenty-nine/thirty. honestly, i think after finding that bit of information out, i should have just stopped there and saved myself.
fast forward to a year later, sonia purposely fails her exam so she could be 'tutored' by tristen and she walks into his office with the plan to seduce him, she succeeds and within the span of one day, our perfect little virgin and her creepy pedo professor start a relationship, have sex, fall in love, profess their love for each other and decide to get married. fast forward to a year later, they're actually getting married. fast foward to ten years later, they have four kids together and the end.
this book was very cringey and had me wincing at some things both of them said, such as "member", him saying her ✨juices✨ were "so tasty", calling her 🐱 juicy and saying she can play him like a fiddle. pls—😭 this whole book just gave those american middle schoolers on tiktok where they date for two days and he has her pressed up against the wall with "this pussy belongs to me" "it's us against the world" "daddy/kitten" absolutely not, sorry. 💀 also, him calling her beautiful or sweetheart every second line, DUDE WE GET IT.
in conclusion, let's never do this again and i do like the colouring on the cover, reminds me of the filter i used on my edits. 🌝

Dirty enough by my standards, because, you know what they say: read at least one spicy book once a month.
No, they don't really say that, but these books are necessary to me, especially if they are as short as this one.
The point: the book has adult content, it's not a big boom in the genre, but it's entertaining. Good rhythm, nothing heavy on the plot, as expected in erotic books and I don't even remember the names of the starring.
It was good, it's a book that doesn't ask you to marry him, no strings attached, the way I like it. I would reread it with no problem.

These two together is like adding kerosene to a fire and I really enjoyed they’re explosive chemistry.

They have their moments together and in less than 24 hours they exchange I love yous and Tristen even proposes. Sonia says yes! They get married a year later and 10 years later they have 4 or 5 kids and are as happy as ever!
The spicy factor was a 3.5/5 🌶️🌶️🌶️.5. I would rate the book a 4/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. It was short and sweet and got to the smut really quick!

I did NOT like this. At all. I love Mila Crawford, I truly do. But this was not her best work.
The grammatical errors were pretty horrendous, and I think the word “gonna” was used about 25 times throughout this 58 page book. It’s okay to use “going to” every once in a while.
Then, we have the insta-love trope. The first time he says “I love you” is also when he proposes. Please just pump the damn brakes.
Ultimately, if you’re looking for a short, quick, smutty book and don’t care about grammatical errors, word choices, or the insta-love trope, you should read this.
Otherwise, I do NOT recommend. 2 stars for decent spice.

This was a hot and steamy short story with basically no plot. There is an Insta-connection when the characters first meet but she is only 17 so the book actually starts a few months later when she is 18 and his student in college. He is 30 so a bit of an age-gap but no kink or daddy play.
I really expected more steam to be honest. It was just ok/ medium steam level with hotter dirty talk than dirty action. Guy seems to be over-the-top possessive but we only see the 2 together so it could just be part of his endless dirty talk (‘I own you- your only mine’ etc). Plus some of the dirty talk was slightly cringy (just personal word choice- like he used c*nt instead of p*ssy).
Overall this was just ok but I definitely have read better from this author. I plan to read the next book in the series because it’s MMF but I’ll probably stop there (plus 3rd book is not available on KU).

This story has very thing you’ll love! Professor/student, friend’s sister, age-gap and tons of kink! This story follows Tristen and Sonia who have been wanting and yearning for each other for quite sometime. Tristen is friends with Sonia’s brother but when he laid eyes on her at 17 he couldn’t believe how beautiful and enthralling she was.
