I actually read this on wattpad two years ago and I LOVE IT. I will be rereading it for the fifth time soon. Ami’s writing is amazing. Amazing to the point where it does not come across as “wattpad writing” at all. Her mind is something else. That woman can step on me and id say thank you. The characters, the plot, everything is so well done. Kayden will forever be my number one wattpad bf. Please please read this. This is without a doubt the best wattpad story I’ve ever read. That’s it. Just had to come on here and rave about it after seeing it was on goodreads <3
Stars: 5***** OMG this is hot! Yes it has lots of detailed sex scenes but not until chapter 36. The story plot, character development capture you in the first chapter, you can’t just put this book down. The author’s style of writing is one of the best I have read so far. The way she describes each moment in the life of the characters makes you feel for them, makes you feel you are right there with them. I love this books because it tells a story, relatable drama, feels real, so yes it is book that not only has just nonsense smut. It is a book that you will want to read again and again. It is shelved in my “books I want to read again/hot/drama/forbidden/5stars book!
Story of Layla Mitchell and Dr. Kayden Hall. Psychology student and professor. (Triggers: talk of death, alcoholism, drugs, domestic child abuse, sex talks/education, BSDM) Formerly smoke of sighs on Wattpad, the profesor on raddish.
I am very aware of the fact that not everybody is into BDSM especially as intense as described into this book. However, I completely understand this. I have a high tolerance regarding reading about BDSM
BUT Laylas rape fantasies?! THIS is NOT okay! This definitely is something traumatising and should not be sexualised and romantised in a book! Especially not on a platform like wattpad (even though I'm not too suprised about that)
Also Laylas and Kaydens relationship is toxic asf and she should've not forgive him that often bc what the actual fuck. Liked the fact that she talked about alcohol abuse though.
I am enraged that this doesn't have way more reviews. This is my favorite book. I literally only found this because I was looking for a link to send a friend. Layla and Kaden are literally the only reason I still have the Radish app, because Ami is killing me and NOT making a paperback. The story is one of two kindred souls who find each other unexpectedly. The taboo love they share and the pure passion between them is absolutely stunning. Kaden is such a beautifully broken character that is faced with some real necessary challenges- and that is why he is my favorite MMC out of hundreds of reads. 🖤
Hands down, best book on the Radish app. It's one of the few books I would like to have a paperback to reread. I've read it probably 3-4 times and I rarely read a book twice. The characters are engaging and her writing style is unlike any I've seen. I love the Psych details. I'm not giving anything away about the book, just read it. You won't regret it.
OH MY GOD THIS BOOK!! I LOVED THIS BOOK SO MUCH. i'm currently reading for the special chapters on wattpad cuz the actual book is not available in my country lol. DR. KAYDEN HALL IF U'RE READING THIS ILY
This is THE BEST book I have ever read. I keep coming back to it over and over again. I must have read it at least 5 times now. I need this in a hard copy asap.
can’t believe i rated only four stars when i first read
my days this book was good the sexual tension at the start was literally so good when we finally got smut it just hit different after all the tension in like the first 30 chapters. smut was so good like and i love layla and kayden so much bro the last chapters with jayden’s brother was so sad and o can’t believe they went that long without contact it’s just insane to me and i could not stop crying and stomach being like stirred aswell when layla confessed . the writing was so beautiful
