Saving Tally

Rate this book
The walls between heaven, hell and earth no longer exist. There are no more rules and humans are becoming extinct. Only the strong and the clever will survive. The fate of the world rests on their shoulders. Jacob is missing after sending off his last true tie to earth; into the hands of the devil. Lucifer is fighting for control over a land he despises. The crew is hiding out in faery just trying to survive. Can Jacob save the day? Does he even want to? In this last installment of Jacob’s broken mercenaries. All the answers will come to fruition. In a world where you're either the hero or the villain. Lucifer lies heavily in the latter category, but to Tally (behind his wall of indifference), he’s just normal. Maybe a little selfish. She desires him and understands him like no other. Does that make her evil, too? How will this story end? There’s so many questions and only two possible outcomes are definite. The end or a new beginning.

Writing is talented

Lisa’s talent shows in this one, but it’s not personally the kind of love story I enjoy. I know that this is a story others with this interest will find beautiful. I absolutely loved the side parts of the story. If you enjoy a dominant friends to lovers story you will want to read this.

An emotional roller coaster

Wow! What a ride of emotions and drama the author put me through. I couldn't put the book down. I loved the battle that Tally had with her feelings and I loved seeing Lucifer as he struggled to learn how to show his love for her. A lovely end to a magnificent series.

A great ending

A great ending to a magnificent series. I'm going to grieve leaving all of Jacob's mercenaries behind. I love how Lisa was once again able to take a broken, unlikeable character and make us readers fall in love with him. This enemies to lovers romance was dark but brilliant.
