This second book is just amazing! Fast paced and filled with action, twists and turns, suspense, romance, hot hot hot chemistry and amazing characters you will not be able to put it down! Well written the author draws you into the story and had me on the edge of my seat the whole read plus she has concluded this duology well!

This author scores big time with the next book in the series and yes you do need to read the first book. Not only is it amazing you will be kind of lost with the second book. That being said I gotta say this was also an amazing read with action and loss, betrayal and healing. She keeps hearing who she is and what she can do. She hasn't done anything special yet but fall in love with a vampire. There will be war. It has to happen. There is love. It isn't supposed to happen but they can't stop it. When the time comes, all that she is will be seen by all. When the time comes she will show what it means to come from 2 Hunters. When the time comes, the gain will help the healing and the guilt from the lives lost. When the time comes a hunter born of two hunters will rise and show their enemies what she's here to do.

Jules travels to Europe to meet her long lost grandfather to learn of, not only her personal history, but the history of hunters as well. She trains and studies daily to fight Mathias, the Vampire who is trying to dominate the globe. She and her band of misfits reach out to all hunters not under Mathias's rule, and some other unlikely companions, to side with her to take down Mathias. Hendry, her loyal friend, realized his true mission as a guardian, and the battle begins.
The story flowed easily, with the usual banter I have come to love from Anna Applegate. She loves her characters and it shows in her writing.

The conclusion of the Alliance of Power Duology series by Anna Applegate a well written story that kept me turning pages. Jules Van Helsing nee Jules Parker, with Seeley Ronan, her Vampire King and her bunch of paranormal misfits to help it is now time to stop Mathias Morganstein, the evil Vampire King of Europe. This is the concluding half of this series. Jules undergoes intense training and preparation for the unavoidable confrontation with the new vampire king Mathias and his minions. But before this can be done, her friend and ally Nadia is kidnapped by the vampire Kellan. Against her grandfather's orders, she undertakes a rescue operation. Lots of action and of course, the passion and romance between Jules and her own vampire king Seely. Good storyline and interesting characters. Nice.

This book is an excellent conclusion to the story and continues seamlessly from book one. It is well written and the story and characters are well developed. I love the relationship dynamics and their individual personalities. The story was amazing. It was action packed with loads of twist and turns. There was plenty of suspense, intrigue, emotion, hot chemistry and romance. This book concludes the story well. I’d highly recommend this book but you MUST read book one first!!

An excellent sequel to A Hunter Within
Jules Parker aka jules Van Helsing has been trying to figure out how she fits in the paranormal world she has found herself as the new Leader of Falcon she must try and convince the other hunters she is ready lead the war against a rogue vampire king Mathias but she isn't so sure herself with seeley by her side the vampire king of the Northern territories and a blooming love between them Jules must become the Van Helsing she was always meant to be. And with seeley by her side she may have a fighting chance

The characters were great. I loved Jules and her friends. They all pulled you into the book and made You feel as if you were involved in everything that was happening. The twists, and action kept you reading. I can't wait for the next one ! A true hang on to the edge of your seat addition to an amazing series.

If being a Van Helsing and being in love with a vampire isn't enough for Jules, becoming a crucial part of the war might become too much. This is an exciting read that will leave you on the edge of your seat. This is a very well written story, that is amazingly told. This is a fantasic conclusion to the Alliance of Power Duology.

I absolutely loved this book and was honored to have been able to read and review. It was such a phenomenal read and had amazing characters as well as an amazing story line. I just could not get enough of it and once I started reading it I could not put it down. I recommend that you read it.

In conclusion
The ending was bitter sweet. I would have loved an epilogue a few years down the road. There were definitely some losses and I cried but there were victories too. There was a sex scene which ia why I dropped the star rating.

A hunter and vampire king join forces with others to defeat a power hungry vampire. A good conclusion to the story. Lots of build up , wanted more for the climax.
