Blood is thicker than water…

For most, this saying rings true, but for Glori Hughes Matthews and Sinclair “Sin” Walker, that saying doesn’t pertain to them. The two can’t be closer if they had the same blood running through their veins. They are the perfect example that the opposite sex can be friends with no benefits.

Born and raised in Hotlanta, Glori is the youngest of two sisters, ready to graduate high school and live her best life alongside her best friend, Sin, who stays next door with his parents her whole life.

Fast forward ten years, Glori is twenty-nine, happily married with two kids, and working as a realtor in Knoxville, Tennessee. Thought to be in love and happily married, she is devastated finding out about her husband’s betrayal. Hurt, broken, and bruised, she is forced to move back to the one place she wants to leave behind. Not only is Glori headed back to Atlanta, but she’s headed back to her past as well. A past she wasn’t ready to face.

Sin is good with life. Making a life with his baby mama for the sake of his son and making legal money renovating old homes to put back on the market while trying to leave the illegal drug game in the past, Sin is good. Living life to the fullest, he has put the past behind him. That is until his ex-best friend who he hasn’t communicated with since that horrific night ten years ago makes an unexpected appearance, not only moving back to his hood, but back into his life.

Sin and Glori have never crossed the lines of friendship, but when Glori suffers heartbreak and finds herself in a state of depression she can’t seem to shake, Sin finds himself feeling things for her that he never knew was there, and things between the two change.

Take a ride with Glori and Sin as they fight through the dirt to see what exactly life has in store for them. While sin is known to lead to a road of destruction, will Glori weather the storms that come her way, or will Sin take her under? Let’s find out in Playing With Sin.

Ok great start for this series. I hate the girls dad decided to take lives but now he has to live with the consequences of his actions. Now he has secrets he hasn’t told yet!! Glori needs to get over one relationship before entering into another and Sin needs to STOP until she is ready. Now the side chick seems a bit crazy and needs to be watched!!!

Loving this story

Everyone is holding on to some secrets and I can't wait for them all to come to light. These characters are all over the place and are so intertwined. Your husband is a cheater, your sister is keeping a big secret, your so called best friend is apart of the secret, and your daddy has the biggest secret of all. On to part two.

I really enjoyed this book it was good. I hope that Gloria don’t go back to her husband he doesn’t deserve her at all. Heaven should have told her sister everything about her and Sin but she didn’t. I just don’t want Gloria hurt again by anyone.
