Although I'm really late for the party, still, here we go with my Halloween read of the year.
'SCARY STORIES' by Boris Bacic is a collection of horror stories with well maintained levels of horror and suspense throughout the story. This is my first read from the author and I'm really pleased with it .
Some stories were amaizing where some felt a bit off but altogether a delightful read for the spooky season.
I would look forward for more books from the author.

A real mixed bag
Long time reader of nosleep. There are a couple of good stories here, some average, and some honestly bad. To put it in to perspective, the bad ones would be the equivalent to about 100 upvotes. Some good concepts though, for sure.
I really felt like the cult story was a complete waste of my time - poorly written with complete lack of details and resolution

Great!
Excellent little collection of BBs distinctive horror style. Highly recommended for aficionados of the genre. This is my third BB book, and I hope to read more soon!

Good book
I really liked the stories. And they were very detailed and not too long. I could almost see what was being written.

Another no sleep success for me!

Boris Bacic is a horror gem. The way his mind can so effortlessly come up with these tremble-worthy horror plots blew me away. Each story is told like a retelling of a memory. In my opinion, this adds to the creepy feeling of each and every unique story. In turn, the stories twist the way you view reality. Bacic rips you from your 'comfort box' and throws you into unimaginable terror, quite similar to the way Stephen King impacts his readers.
It's truly a jarring collection of horror stories with nearly constant suspense. I'd recommend this to any horror thrill seeker.

This is an amazing collection of stories, where seemingly normal situations turn into nightmares.
Tantalizingly creepy, Bacic doesn’t explains what happend and leaves things unanswered, leaving room for your own imagination.
I love that.
Well-written and delightfully scary. I will most certainly read more of Boris Bacic’s work !
