The AJE Authority investigates crimes against supernatural's. The Old McDonald farm has been on their radar for ten years. It's time to shut them down.

Ciaran doesn't know any different. He was born an omega into the Old McDonald breeding facility. Worse than that, he was born a non shifting omega. The lowest of the low. He was the whipping boy. He long gave up on someone saving him. Everyday is pain and the acceptance that his life will never be anything more than misery.

Memphis is the head of the shifter unit for the AJE Authority. When his boss Kade calls him and his team in to go undercover for a very important case, Memphis never expects to find his mate. It wasn't that he didn't want a mate, he just never believed it was going to be part of his lot.

However, will his mate accept him or will their lives that have been lived so differently get in the way?

If you can suspend all reality I'm sure you'll enjoy this book as much as I did. I hadn't read the blurb so had no expectations for the book and it's my first read from SL Davies; it won't be my last. I love a book that surprises me, which this did with so many different characters engaging in the storyline. Plenty of forward planning for the future books in the series too.

Whilst there are some writing errors there aren't enough to stop me loving this book and if you like a dark, steamy, slightly wrong side of the tracks kind off book this is the one for your kindle today xx

I received a copy of this book from the author and provide my honest review voluntarily

I have no idea why I subjected myself to this. I don’t know where to start…

First of all, if I’d actually bought this I’d be PI$$ed. Luckily it was free with my Scribd/Everand subscription. As is the entire series.

There are typos, poor grammar sprinkled everywhere…its soooo distracting.

As for plot, apparently supernaturals are out to humans for awhile now and they police their own kind. The supernatural police have been monitoring a situation with omega breeding facilities for awhile (10 years…10 years people, don’t even get me started on that) and finally decide to intercede. While rescuing the omegas one of the supernatural cops happens upon his fated mate and the rest of the story is a bit of a mess about how they shag a lot, the omega’s long lost brother comes back into the picture, yada yada yada. There a plot holes so big mack trucks drive through making regular delivery runs.

The entire book is one big trigger warning. It’s like some took their fan fictions (for a few different things) and smooshed them together, changed some names and poof! A book! Heaven help me but I think I’ll actually keep reading (‘cause they’re free with my subscription, and surely it can’t get any worse, and because I feel like it’s my civic duty to you all to report back).

Honestly I’m so done

Now from the moment I read the first line in a blurb I knew it was a typical Wattpadian story. No I don’t usually leave reviews, but I have had enough of the typical plots. It’s like I jumped from one Wattpad to another Wattpad. This Story was full of plot holes, grammar mistakes, and the author try to fit every typical Wattpad storyline into one book. Honestly this is why I don’t read the blurbs anymore because I can already tell what’s going to happen, but I didn’t expect to be this bad. If I could give books A zero star rating, I would do so. I will not be reading the authors books anymore. Is it so hard to find a story with a atypical plot that has anguish? Apparently so.

Edit:
Oh I just went to go check the reviews for the book and see if there was any comments. Why did I see the author use I’m guessing another profile to like her book 5 stars. How outrageous is that????? I was going to give another book a chance, but after I seen this for sure I’m not reading any books or any book she co- authors

Brilliant

This was a brilliant introduction to this series I love Ciran and Memphis together. I love how caring they are for not only each other but for those around them that have been affected by trauma. I cannot wait to read the rest of the series. I wish I had read in the right order as I previously read the other series before.

It was OK. The premise was good little bit different than what you normally would see but it was a little slow. Parts of the book I felt like I was speeding up just to get through that section. I noticed there’s other books in the series and I’ll probably read them down the line

DNF - I really dislike when authors use insta-love to cure trauma.

If more research and patience was put towards fleshing out a story with decent character and world building, this could have been great.

Instead it was just a hot mess.
