Erin McDermott was born and raised in New Jersey. She graduated college with a bachelors degree in History. If she's not in her room writing, you may find her cruising around the Caribbean with her family.
She has been writing stories since the 3rd grade. It was not until after experiencing the fast-paced life New York City had to offer that she decided to finally take the plunge and finish her first book, CAPTIVE REBEL.
Most of her books involve Greek mythology, including her new series ATHANA CHRONICLES.
Delve into that series with book one - Hades' Deception.

This series is incredible and this fifth book is a fantastic addition to it! The storyline is so so exciting with twists and turns and Claire is really growing into her powers. It’s all set in an incredible world, it’s action packed and full of intrigue, emotions and has some amazing chemistry as well as amazing characters! I am totally addicted and have been from the very start and am loving every minute!
An exciting book with good storytelling. A young girl Claire, signed up to be in Hades' Challenge to save a friend Jason. But this was no ordinary challenge, it was death to the loser. During the contest Claire finds out who her father is and her mother's name, as she was left on a door step of a human and raised as a human but she was a demigoddess. Immortals were everywhere and Zeus' was helping run the show and everyone was afraid of him, even his brother Hades couldn't trust him not to be killed. Good book!
This book continues seamlessly from the fourth book and is an excellent conclusion to the story. The book is well written and the characters and story were well developed. I love the individual character personalities and seeing their relationship dynamics grow and evolve through the books. The story was action packed and full of twists and turns. It had suspense, intrigue, emotion, romance and hot chemistry. I’d highly recommend this book and the series as a whole!! It was an amazing read!!
