This boxset tells the stories of five police officers of the Kings County Police Department and the five curvy women that capture their hearts. The main characters are Mason and Dana, Jesse and Angie, Skylar and Jamie, Brody and Beth and Devlin and Kylie. In the first book, Mason falls for Dana and Dana’s donuts after seeing Dana sampling her own wares from the van she has just opened up her business in, that she has called Dana’s Delights. She suffers from low self-esteem due to her body size and shape and her mother has always told her that men are only after one thing. When the handsome cop Mason comes to her van window, she is embarrassed to have been caught eating her own goods and revealing how much she enjoyed them. Mason pursues her and comes by the donut van every day, inviting her out for drinks with his fellow workers again. Only her mother’s words get in the way of them progressing their relationship, as Mason hasn’t exactly taken her out on a date on their own yet! A bit of a bump in the road, but they soon get back on track and have their way soon enough.
The second book features Jesse, a cop who is determined to go up against a drug lord and Angie is his ex who turns up in the middle of a drug bust. The cops are looking for Martin Dalton, one of the nefarious Dalton brothers, who run a number of criminal activities in town, but have never been able to pin anything on either of them. What Jesse didn’t expect when they ran a raid on a drugs den, was for his ex to try and jump out a window. The last time he saw her, she had emptied his wallet and left a note, simply saying ‘sorry’ and that was two years ago! The drug scene wasn’t her thing then, but why she was in a known drug den is unclear and he won’t release her until he finds out why. She left him before, as she was afraid her brother’s issues would ruin Jesse’s chances of promotion and didn’t want to drag him into her family issues. But now that he has found her again and tries not to look at everything as black and white, he sees she is still the woman he wanted to marry two years ago and he wants to try again, if she is willing. First she needs to find her brother Davey and get him some more help to break his addiction, then she can relax into a relationship again and think of the future and how she can help others like her brother.
Jamie is a tech billionaire being protected by undercover cop Skylar after he gets threats against his life. Skylar gets to pretend to be his girlfriend and is angry others see her as just a piece of fluff, not a cop like she is. James Baker owns a company called Miffy, which invented an app for audio messaging, which all the kids use. The death threats this former Silicon Valley billionaire is getting are serious ad it seems something might happen this week, while he is visiting their town. He is now only a millionaire because he has given most of his money away to charities! He’s come to give a talk to underprivileged kids to encourage them to get into the tech space, which he also set up. When she sees his photo her sarge shows her, she likes what she sees. But is still annoyed she has to be a pretend girlfriend to do her job! Luckily she is in the right place at the right time, to stop a deadly attack on him and she thinks that will be the last she sees of him. But he turns up at her door with flowers to say thank you and they get together. He can do his job anywhere and is drawn to this particular curvy woman and the town she lives in, so there is no reason for him to live anywhere else!
Brody is a new police officer having only been on the force for about six months and was about to go off shift, when he gets a call to the nearby lake for a case of indecent exposure. He expects it to be a man, until he finds out he has been called out to see to a woman and that turns out to be Beth. She is trying to build up her self-confidence by following an app called Confident Women and trying out one of the 100 Activities to a More Daring You and decided to try skinny dipping. It was going well until a couple of teenagers ran away with her clothes, which also had her car keys in! She is stuck in the water and starting to freeze off a couple of her appendages, whilst trying to think about what she should do. Brody tries to coax her to come out and ends up having to call an ambulance for her as she looks a bit blue from being in the water so long. He doesn’t want to leave her, the woman who made him hard as soon as he realised she had no clothes on! She has sworn off men for now and is supposed to be trying to build her confidence without a man, but that goes out the window with her instant attraction to this handsome young cop and his obvious attraction to her. She decides to give him a chance. A no show for their second date gets Brody in trouble and their relationship falters, until she is encouraged by the other woman on her course and decides to give him another chance and apologises for assuming he was like other men, when he failed to turn up.
Devlin is a detective working to bring down the notorious Dalton family, when Kylie moves in next door. She has moved there for a new start and a new life, but getting stuck outside in the rain without a key, it not what she expected. She tries to climb in through a window and gets stuck halfway and then a hand grabs her legs. He moves to protect her when her past suddenly comes calling. Devlin was coming home when he saw what he thought was a burglar breaking into the house next door that had been empty for months. Only once he is up close and personal, does he realise the mistake he has made and she is furious he tried to cuff her for trying to get into her own home! He makes up for it by bringing her chocolates and helping fix stuff around the house. He asks her for a date and they arrange to meet at hers for dinner, but someone from her past turns up instead. She has tried to hide her past from Devlin, but her older sister Mel is mixed up with the Dalton family and seeing one of them in her house pushes Devlin’s buttons. Kylie managed to get away from the family, but her sister is still in love with Marty Dalton and wouldn’t go with her. She owes her sister for raising her all alone after their parents died when she was only fifteen. Would Devlin believe she had nothing to do with what the Dalton family do, or not? You soon find out.
Each of the stories has a sudden and steamy coming together of a curvy woman and the man who falls for them, with each story having a HEA ending. Lots of BBW and the men who love them for who they are and wouldn’t change a thing. Some are lacking in self-esteem and confidence, but the love of a handsome man soon puts that to rights. Each is a short read and perfect for an escape from reality for a while. I received an ARC copy of this boxset form BookSprout and I have freely given my own opinion of the book above.

Pretty Good
This series follows the boys and girls in blue. It has the same conflict you see in her other novellas. Each couple is working through their issues. These seemed to be heavier issues whereas in previous books there was a balance. These stories also felt more rushed. Overall they were still good though. Definitely do the job for a quick fun read.

This boxset is a MUST have if you love hot police officers in steamy insta-love romances! This is definitely a bonanza if you do because these five books in this box set offer you that in spades! Each book offers a look into the hot as hell hook ups between these uniformed gods and goddess that fall in love with their special partners. The first book follows officer Mason as he meets and falls in love at first sight with donut cart owner and operator Dana. It's a hot and steamy romance that will definitely heat up your kindle. In the second book we are introduced to a second chance romance between officer Jesse and his ex girlfriend, from two years prior, Angie. They meet at a known drug house while Jesse and his fellow officers crash in and arrest everyone found in the house, of which Angie happens to be the one he slaps his cuffs on. Ooopps! It's a definite mood killer, but eventually things are explained and there might be a happily ever after in this insta-love story. Next we meet female officer Skylar who is roped into an undercover operation that has her as a girlfriend to billionaire tech guru James (Jamie) who is scheduled to attend a convention and charity ball in Kings County. Apparently Jamie has been receiving a lot of threats that he will be harmed if he doesn't pay money to an unknown person. His security team thought it would be better to have some protection closer to him and therefore Skylar is brought in to pretend date him so she can be by his side if anything should happen since all indicators point to it happening at the Kings County function. The minute they meet each other sparks fly and he can barely keep his hands off officer Skylar. Can something long term develope from these newly awakened feelings between the two of them? You'll need to get the box set to find out. In the next book we meet new police recruit Brody answering a dispatched call that leads him to Tannen Reserve and into the very naked path of the love of his life. He responds to the report of indecent exposure and upon arriving there he discovers a naked women submerged to her chin in the cold waters. He asks her to come out of the water and that's when she informs him that she is naked and that some kids have stolen her clothes that she left on the bank. He gets her clothes back for her and allows her to get out of the cold water and pulls her into his arms in an attempt to warm her up. He eventually learns her name is Beth and he can't get over his instantaneous attraction and connection to her. She is his love at first sight and he is apparently hers. It totally heats up from here. Finally, the last book is about detective Devin and his new next door neighbor, Kylie who he discovers has ties to the drug dealing Dalton family. It's pure heat between the two of them and may or may not lead to a happily ever after for both of them. This entire collection of insta-love books is a hot mix of sexy uniformed officers and the loves of their lives with off the charts chemistry. This is a definite must have for lovers of the insta-love romance!

Each story is well written with dynamic character that I connected with but my favorite is Devlin. Devlin and Kylie meet when he thinks he is sneaking up on a burglar. Shocked when he realizes that the he is a she, Devlin immediately gets off of Kylie but the damage has been done and he now has a disgruntled neighbor in spite of the spark coming off of them. He makes it up to her but will their budding relationship come to a stop when Devlin learns that Kylie has a connection to the Dalton Crime Family that he is investigating? You will be glued to this story from the first to the last page.

This was a cute collection of short insta love stories and I’m leaving my reviews of the individual stories below.
Mason: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This was a really cute curvy woman romance. I really enjoyed the connection between Mason and Dana. I liked how they met, there was a bit of drama but it was quickly resolved and I like that.
Jesse: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This was a cute second chance romance. I liked that there was a reason for the original split up and it made sense. The storyline was entertaining and I liked the chemistry between Jesse and Angie. This was a cute story.
Skylar: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This was a cute fake relationship romance. I liked the story but I would have liked to feel a bit more of a connection between Skylar and Jamie, to me I felt a bit forced.
Brody: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This was such a cute story. I loved Brody and Beth’s meet cute, so funny. I loved how this story questioned how to be independent and still need to be with someone. I really loved it.

Mason - This is a sweet quick read that had good characters and dealt with real life issues. The story held my interest and made me smile....and want a donut! - 3.5 stars.
Jesse - This is a second chance story that shows life isn't always black or white. This story includes trust, honesty, forgiveness, understanding and judgement as well as support, connection and love. - 3 stars.
Skylar - This short is full of good characters, believable connections, chemistry, honesty, happiness, a splash of drama and it held my interest. - 3 stars.

This box set is a steamy collection of stories about five police officers and the women they fall for. The writing is well done and the characters are well developed. Even though I loved all five stories in this box set here are a couple of my favorites.
Mason Bk1:
Dana owns a Donut Van and Mason is a police officer who loves donuts. From the moment Mason meets Dana he falls for her and her donuts. Convincing Dana that they belong together and that he doesn't just want to take advantage of her. This is a well written, short, steamy romance with likable characters with a happily ever after.

Dana owns a Donut Van and Mason is a police officer who loves donuts. From the moment Mason meets Dana he falls for her and her donuts. Convincing Dana that they belong together and that he doesn't just want to take advantage of her. This is a well written, short, steamy romance with likable characters with a happily ever after.

King's Cops Box Set - From sprinkled donuts to getting cuffed.... Freakin' Fantastic!!!
King's Cops Box Set contains the 5 books of this series - Mason, Jesse, Skylar, Brody, and Devlin. When I first read these books I loved them. This series starts off with the super smexy Mason and speeds straight through so much alpha sexy and passionate men to Devlin, and one kick azz woman with Skylar. Each story has some drama, action, an OTT insta-love, humor and sizzling white hot sex. There is a variety of different tropes along the way but the characters are all so much fun and the books will keep you engaged.
I can only say that I RECOMMEND this box set completely. If you are already a fan of Sadie King then this will make a great addition to your library, or if you are looking for a new author who will become a "no thinking, automatic one click" then Sadie is your woman. Happy Reading.....and try not to fall in love with each of these King's Cops officers.

These very well written, 5 engaging Books in The King's Cops Book Series have sensitive and intriguing stories with amazing and unique characters. These stories have strong characters, explosive chemistry and believable scenes. These stories have alpha police and feisty curvy women romances. These characters are very well constructed in these must read stories. This bookset is well thought out with drama that has their ups and downs to make them quite the page turners.

Good collection
I enjoyed this collection of short stories from Sadie.
It was a series of 5 stories of police colleagues falling in love with their partners.
There was a good storyline throughout all of the stories that was worked out in the final book.

What a real man, and woman, will do.
I loved this set. Real men in uniform are going after what and who they want. And let’s not the woman who does the same. The people in blue live to protect and serve. That particularly includes those they love. Real relationships aren’t easy so why would these be. The couples have to work for their HEA. Watch your speed.

Great boxset featuring the cops of King finding the one meant for them. I read each of these stories as they came out individaully and enjoyed them. The first one is my favorite where the cop falls for the donut maker. They are a match made in Heaven. He helps her make a success of her new bakery and discouraged the cops from boycotting her.

The author has given us a wonderful collection that pulls us into the lives of the men and women of the Kings County Police Department. Each story is a quick read that gives us two people that will drag us into their relationship.

This is a really great series! Ms. King wove intriguing stories with each of these books. The characters were well-balanced, lovable and great for each other. Each couple had chemistry that sparked and sizzled. I enjoyed each of the books separately but binge reading them was even better! This series is perfect for some feel-good escapism!

Five stories of cops and the ones that they can not get enough of. Terrific characters with situations that open up opportunities for a lot of steam. Different types of situations and outcomes that keep the pages turning. Loved the variety of the stories - no cookie cutter stories here. Great endings.
