Three-Faced Boy

Rate this book
These finely honed poems are rich in the oddities, multiplicities, sorrows, and delights of love written from a young gay man's perspective but accessible to any poetry reader of any gender. The 2005-6 winner of the biannual Stonewall Chapbook Competition, Chip Bouchard s book is a stunning debut performance by a very young and very gifted poet who explores love in all its oddities, multiplicities, sorrows and delights. Though he writes from the Stonewall division's specified perspective lesbian, gay, or bisexual his understanding and mystification regarding love makes his work speak to an unlimited audience -- anybody, in fact, who appreciates originality and exceptionally fine craftsmanship.

My friends probably know that I am not a huge poetry fan. However, Chip (I love that I'm on a first-name basis with the author!) did a great job on his first of what will hopefully be many great works to come. ;)
