A good overview, but could have written better. It seems to have digressed into some irrelevant details. Overall, an informational read.

Fairly decent narration of the history of Ancient India. The description is focused on political evolution though there are a few chapters also on the social and cultural aspects. However, the space given to Alexander appears to be disproportionate.
