Robyn writes because the people inside her head won’t leave her alone until she gives them life on paper. Her addictions include shoes (the expensive kind), Coke with extra ice in a styrofoam cup, and bejeweled reading glasses.
A former professional actress, she now lives in the south with her family and too many animals to count. Writing gives her a chance to have a job where working in her P.J.’s is acceptable. Fun if you can ignore the potty mouth

This was a fun, if slightly bizarre writing style. I usually just stop reading if the author uses foul language just for the fun of it. I can kinda get past a guy swearing when somebody bombs his car or his girl breaks up with him, but the heroine just turns everything into a swear, even her magic spells. The fact that she's so absurd makes her sort of likeable. She grows on you. I attempted to just ignore the language and enjoy the story. Likely won't seek out more by this author though because I don't want to start using foul language, and it's catchy. I did enjoy the story, so if you can ignore the language, you will too.

Laugh out loud hilarious

All 3 books were funny and entertaining, and sometimes confusing. I could picture the characters. I would find myself laughing out loud at the antics. I loved all of Baba Yaga's names. The ending of book 3 was great.
I could have done without so much profanity.

Cute stories

If you like funny snarkiness, you will love this series! The puns alone kept me laughing for hours! And the descriptive names! I may have to steal a couple myself. A bit spicy for my taste, but worth the read!

This was a fun and funny read. I laughed so hard during parts of the book. I enjoyed all the admirable characters and how they interacted with each other. There was some steam, and it ends with a HEA. There is more to this series if you want to continue reading.

Interesting characters and premise, but I just didn't connect with the writing. Just not my cup of tea.
