I rarely read how-to and info books from page one to the end. With this book, I did ... and in one night. Very informative and from a perspective I've never heard discussed before. Lovely. Helpful.

Health or other kinds of problems in life seem to be coming from outside. That's why we often think their remedy has to come from outside. The truth is the body is designed to survive all conditions. However a failure in any part causes trouble in the whole connected system. Knowing how to keep it well is what the Tao of Sexology teaches. Especially, a lot that we don't know about sex is here. I would recommend it any open mind.

Quite laughable - an amusing read. Just keep in mind that there’s a lot of pseudoscience, religious overtones, sexism, and some flat out factually incorrect stuff, especially concerning female anatomy. For example. A penis cannot go into the cervix. That’s a anatomically impossible. Still I enjoyed learning a little bit more about some Taoism, though I found the lack of references very disturbing/distrustful.

A very good book about the body and sexxxxxxx. Must be aware of the taoist religious point of view. Ignore that part, and put the very beneficial information to use right now!

This book of infinite wisdom is essentially just a bunch of pseudoscientific quackery which should not be taken seriously. The book often claims that its assertions are backed up by scientific research, but there is suspiciously not a single reference to be found. And simply citing "6000 years of Taoist wisdom" is not a valid reference.
Here are just a few examples of the "infinite wisdom" to be found within the pages:

"The nutritional value of [one tablespoon] of semen is equal to that of two pieces of New York steak, ten eggs, six oranges, and two lemons combined" Wow.

"Intercourse may hurt or upset the baby [during pregnancy]. Some babies come out into this world with bruises after being beaten with penises" What the actual f**k

"Do not conceive during a sunset, otherwise the child's eyesight will be poor" So enlightening.

"Two men ejaculated into the lady, and their sperm met inside her vagina and fought each other fiercely. From this battle an exchange of "factors" took place. This exchange produced a mutant, the syphilis germ." Huh?

This book is 1/2 laughable superstitions and very bad ideas, 1/4 wise attitudes and ancient wisdoms, and 1/4 almost-interesting anthropology on east/west differences.

So ... not the best use of time.

This book shows its age. As a clinical sexologist, I was shocked by how outdated many claims are: from the idea that sexual techniques should “bind” a partner or even alter a penis for someone else’s pleasure, to misinformation about clitoral stimulation, breastfeeding, and sex during pregnancy. There’s also a moralizing tone around relationship and reproductive choices, plus some frankly problematic hygiene advice for people with vulvas, advice that can actually contribute to pain and discomfort. Although the link with Taoist philosophy is accessible and the writing style is easy enough, too much of the content is contradicted by established science. While some readers may still find spiritual inspiration in its Taoist framing, its sexual science has not stood the test of time. There is far more nuanced, inclusive, and evidence-aligned Taoist sexuality literature available today, such as the work of Mantak Chia.

So just like hand and foot reflexology, according to this author, sex organs also have points in them that align with our major organs. This book is mostly about how to stay healthy. If you have specific health ailments, this book gives advice on how to ease those ailments using certain positions- healing positions- during intercourse. This book and the important health advice in it should be a normalized conversation, not something we should shy away from. Homosexuality, oral sex, reflexology of the sex organs, and overall health are just a few topics talked about in this awesome and insightful book. Every human alive should read this book, just in the hope to promote overall wellbeing in human societies and culture. (Although SOME of the advice and statistics may seem farfetched)

While I was not impressed with the overarching level of pseudoscientific sweeping generalizations, I was surprised at some of the things in here. This makes me want to know more about Taoism and I will probably read other works covering different areas of life as it seems they have a very practical non-religious sense to understanding life in terms of energy.

Delves into the human body as a physical and spiritual object through which energy flows, and discusses sex as the flow and synchronization of energy and vibrations between two people. Book is very simple to read, would recommend to people who are into sex? Yes.

I have enjoyed Dr. T. Chang's books for many years. He makes Taoism accessible to westerners like myself. This book is incredibly insightful for individuals seeking a more profound and authentic understanding of sexuality.

Can tell that the man has written this book.
Some practices and tools are good wisdom but if you think you can tell the shape, length, depth of every person genitalia from just their physical appearance you’re a little too optimistic and maybe delulu.
