Sooooooooo……I’m a little bit on the fence with Rakim and Naima’s love story! This was almost not the same Rakim I fell in love with in book 3. While Rakim and Naima had good on page chemistry, the story felt rushed and there was soooo much other stuff going on with Tatiana, the Milano mafia and Remi and Genesis that their love story took a backseat! The characters also flip flopped with what they wanted from each other. One minute it was experiences only and the next it was babies and marriage then back to experiences. What started out as my favorite series character turned into my most disappointing one. I honestly don’t understand why Dijon and Rakim didn’t just end up together because they gave me all the feels!

I wasn't planning on actually writing a review for this whole series, I just was viking and enjoying and grateful to find a lengthy series about black families thriving but I had to break my silence, Rakim is a bottom barrel man and Naima is the only reason I gave this book a 3 star, she is the saving grace but she deserves a better man especially after reading about what a great guy her twin brother is. He has never been assertive and sire about anyone, very cowardly in my opinion.

Finally moving on
Rakim still worked my nerves in this book. I was off him with how he mishandled Dijon's heart. He continued to make poor decisions in this book. His relationship with his baby momma Tatiana was too close for comfort. He thought keeping them close made it easier for them to take care of their baby, but instead it gave Tatiana false hope, made her comfortable, and gave her control over Rakim. I understand being a coparent, but to basically give up your life was beyond me.
Rakim finally feels like he wants something more....He then meets Naima and they have an instant physical connection. He was intrigued by her and eventually they decide to have fun together. They have so much in common that Rakim feels like maybe he met his match. Rakim is hurt by Naima's past and instead of talking to her, he makes a terrible decision that could change the trajectory of his life. This decision leads to Tatiana holding control over Rakim and creating all types of drama. Naima was with the ish though and I was here for it. Rakim was constantly giving grace to Tatiana though and I can't wait to see how it all shakes out.
It was also good to see the family progress. The scene with Colt was sad because he was heartless until the end.

Sigh! Another banger from B. Love! I adore the growth and progress of the Mafia-verse that Love has created. It has been sooo refreshing to see Rock fall in love again. And that Naiema…LOVE HER! She’s his equal in every way. I adored their openness & communication. It made me think “hmm if only everyone were this transparent with their intentions and feelings”. Then there’s Tatiana….no comment, but I CAN NOT wait to see what’s in store for her because baby girl has lost ALL of her marbles. Another 5 star read. Y’all, seriously if you haven’t already, stop playing and get into this series

Author B Love has done it again!! The Black Mafia stories keep getting better and better. Rakim met his match with Naima allowing him to finally open his heart to love. I am one of those readers who wanted him and Dijon to somehow work things out but now why he needed to wait for Naima. I love Naima, she has a pure heart but is just as savage as the Mafia. She played NO games with Tatiana! Yet Tatiana CLEARLY has a death wish. I can't wait to see how that plays out in the next part. Good riddance to Colt but let's see what this daughter of his is talking about. Will she be Remi's love interest?

RAKIM AND NAIMA ❤
I can't get enough of this Saga. It just keeps getting better. Nothing can stop The Black's and The Mayhem's. I loved how this installment focused on Rakim finally opening his heart to finding love. The instant attraction between him and Naima led to some steamy moments. Tatiana just doesn't learn. And I think it's time for Rakim to let Naima step in and deal with that situation. He let her slide for too long. Glad Colt is a distant memory but curious to know what this new relative is all about. Once again the author has crafted this story to perfection looking forward to the next installment.

I was so committed to disliking Rakim after what he did to Dijon, but B. Love turned it around with his story and made me see him in a different light. I love Naima she’s my 2nd favorite behind Vanna. B knows she got skills. She will have about to ride out with fictional characters, she will have you from laughing to cussing. She is always leaving us hanging off a cliff 😀I’m so anxious for the next stories, I have pre ordered the rest sight& synopsis unseen! If you’re a mafia fan like me, get this series. Thank me later. Awesome job B

A Good Telling of Falling In Love
I was finale excited that this gentleman gangster was getting his story and his "boo". Well I.have to say after finishing this story,it is with mixed emotions that I can say that quite a bit of the crazy he bought on himself. I can agree with Tatiana, that she lost herself in the false reality that Rakim creates at home. Even though this man says that he explained the situation to Tatiana,A woman becomes emotionally invested when she is given the impression, its going to be an us.I can't get with I'm dumping you because you crazy,guess what you made her this way. Also the jury is still out on sista girl Naima. I get that she is all gangsta but really the only thing you can think of is you're not going to be disrespected, but you know the situation, look at the woman's side and not just getting what you want. Overall this was really a good read,I loved the action and the getting to know you part(really was sweet).Also glad daddy dearest gets his just rewards.

If you know this author’s work and are familiar with the Black Mayhem Mafia, you know this was another banger!! I have been hooked on Rakim since Dijon’s story and his story did not disappoint. Naima was just what he needed. They had lots in common, an instant attraction and passion that oozed off the pages🔥🌶🍆!!!! I loved it ❤️. I knew Tatiana was going to lie and be a problem 🤬 but she has definitely met her match with Naima! Rakim had his moment of stupidity but he redeemed himself really well. Can’t wait for the next story👏🏽👏🏽👍🏾👍🏾

I started reading and didn’t finish until the end! B, you are such a gifted writer and it seems as though it comes to you too easily! I have loved this series and can’t wait until the rest of it is released but you did the doggone thang girl! I read this story in one read! Naima and Rock are so cute for each other! Glad they finally got rid of the black sheep lol don’t wanna spoil it for anyone! Great job and thanks for all you do to keep up uplifted and entertained!

Naima is a straight baddie who’s not afraid to put action behind her words. I love her! And she’s perfect for Rakim. I’m impatiently anticipating the next chapter in their journey.

B never disappoints! This mafia series is simply amazing. I knew these Mayhem brothers will be nothing to play with just like the Blacks. Naima and Rock are possibly in the running to be my new favorite couple. Well they are my second , Sanny and Vanna is still the the best. I am so ready for book 8! That trifling heifa needs to be dealt with!!! Expeditiously!!

Rakim on deck
How does every book in the series end up better than the last? Naima is probably my favorite heroine in this series. You are not too sure just how savage she is, but you soon that she can definitely fit in with the Black Mafia crew. More importantly the chemistry between her and Rakim burns through the pages. I’m hoping they get the happiness they both deserve, however I got a feeling things aren’t going to be so easy . Another bomb story from B. Love!

Rakim ❤️❤️
In the beginning, I was rooting for Dijon and Rakim to work it out. However, I realized that Naeem was everything Dijon’s heart desired. After reading this book, I feel Naima and Rakim fit each other better than any of the couples! I love Dijon’s and Rakim’s relationship. They truly want the best for each other even though they didn’t work. I wish Tatiana would’ve bowed out gracefully. I’m sure she’ll get what she rightfully deserves. Another great read from B 🥰

Heart’s Connection
I must say that Rakim is my least favorite love interest of the bunch. Where the other men are thorough alpha’s he seems to be in a constant state of confusion and weakness. First with Dijon and now with Naima. Ironically, Naima seems to really fit him well because she is strong where he is weak while at the same time being soft for him. Can’t wait to see what’s next for this bunch!

Oh my goodness this just keeps getting better! I keep reading for the plot and what’s happening with in the Mafia. Who knew Tatiana was that crazy! It was stated in previous books but to throw hit grits on Naima while she was in bed with Rock, I have no words! I’m glad he finally found his voice in love and stopped letting his baby mama ruin his peace. On to the next one!

Lmao... finally, when it looks like Rakim has found his slice of happiness, Tatiana threw a wrench in the plans. And at the funeral too.

The mayhem brothers ain't shit

Loved this series and really enjoyed it but I'm done from this point the mayhem brothers part of the series is just not as thrilling and the men are not great either.
I'm on remi story now and that man is thrash. How am I supposed to like a guy that abandons his wife who was with him through it all for no good reason.
I'm sorry but that man is thrash and I don't see any romance in this shit

This girl will not learn her listen. Tatiana just doesn't get it. Rakim doesn't want you, get over it. You would think all of the warnings for her to stay away and get herself together she will let them be but I guess not. I love Rakim and Naima together. Let's just see how the rest plays out. I'm glad they finally got Colt. I wonder what's his other daughter name and where she's been this whole time.

Another Mafia Love Story
I loved reading Rakim and Nakima's story. It was a great introduction to the Mayhem side of the Mafia family. Both of the main characters had a bunch of things to work through and it was a real roller coaster. I was glad for some closer for the Balck family. That ending was a doozy. Great read as always.

Amazing Read
Rakim found someone that he could love unconditionally and it wasn't Dijon. Protecting Naima turned into so much more for both her and Rakim. He messed up dealing with Tatiana once again. However, Naima was the match for her. Can't wait to read the next book to see how she handles her.

Rakim & Naima did the Black Mayhem Mafia justice. They were both grown and neither played games. They went after what they wanted.
