In 2016, I excitedly began pouring my heart and soul into writing my first romance book, Perfect Pond. The words flowed onto the page like a calm stream, and I fell more in love with the story and characters with each word. It wasn't long before I published the sequel, The Pond Skater, and was welcomed into a world of endless possibilities and passionate readers. However, as an emergency dispatcher with limited time to dedicate to my writing, I decided to unpublish both books. Writing had always been more of a beloved hobby than a potential career.
Years passed, but my love for the series never waned. In 2024, I revisited the pages of Perfect Pond, determined to perfect it once and for all. However, as I read through the draft of the updated version of Catching Rainey, I couldn't shake the feeling that something was missing. It didn't feel like the most authentic version of the story I wanted to tell. This realization was the catalyst for my return to the series.
So here I am again, back on track and ready to share this remarkable journey with you all.
