First of all, let me tell you this cover got my attention and thats the reason I brought the whole series. The cover looks so intruiging. And the title, compared to other books in this series was capturing. This book had a valid base which helped the plot developments. The theme and symbols used were relevant thus backing up the whole concept.
The grammatical errors were minnimum compared to other books - pages 28,79 & 187 (mentioned for the authors reference)
This book 3 is depends slightly on the book1 story and strongly on the book 2 story, thus the author makes sure we buy all the books in the series 😜🤪 Suggested to all who love murder mystery and to all those who wish to read indian author books.
What it would be when your most awaited Trilogy ends with the third part? Yes m wait is over for Day Break. All my questions were answered. This book was more emotional for me. Khushbu’s Mamma made me cry literally, the mother who lost her child. Amrita was a great friend. All the characters are well deployed? There are so many things inside. Something is Blooming between Amrita and Inspector Rajiv.! Eva and Raman are on their way of life.. Will that flower and smell the best? And what about the murders? Grab this copy.. happy reading.
The third book in the Kanke Killings, Daybreak, by Kumar Kinshuk is such a great read from the word go through the end.
The author has introduced many key characters in this story and has crafted their contribution to the story development with much conviction and strong affirmation.
While the relentless quest to find the source of mercy killings continues, we have an inspiring and intelligent officer who leads the way and leaves no stone unturned to find the culprit. In the end when the truth is indeed revealed, what follows next remains to be discovered by curious readers. Is it remorse? Is it non chalant behavior? Is there more to it? All of this is described well and the book is so worth the read.
What also adds to the profound impression the book makes is, the manner in which the author has interwoven other significant parts of the story such as, a nurse growing into an established doctor with sheer passion for work; a blossoming friendship between two souls who do not have many people in their lives who they can call as their own; the love and concern of a young girl for her best friend's parents and the coming together of a father and a daughter.
Overall, the story is highly commendable and keeps you with it effortlessly. This is an experience in itself that shouldn't be missed - there is such a fine balance between mystery and slice-of-life elements.
"Eva welcomed Rupashri to Raman’s house. Eva and Raman were struggling to interpret the art on their wall, but it looked like it was still some days away from being fixed."
The story of the Day Break completely on the other track comparing to the firt two part of the Trilogy.
The beginning of the book is with the appearance of Amrita and the parents of Khushbu. Later Eva is introduced, her mother is also a subject of discussion.. Khushbu’s mother and Eva's mother has any mental connection? Ruprashi is an artist what is her business in the life of Raman and Eva? Ruprashi is not just an artist.
The book is an absolutely amazing thriller. Have only one thing to say "Wow.."
Don't know what to say.. The story begins with an agony of a parents whose daughter is dead, killed. And the friend of their daughter, Amrita and some events leads leads another turn and life of a medical person named Eva. The book is filled with different kinds of emotions and complex human feelings. Ruprashi is an artist who is introduced lately and she is very interesting. She get into the life of Raman and Eva. A triangle romance is forming?
And what about the basic story? What will be the new disaster or barrier the characters are gonna face?
This is book is best suitable for adults and also those who love crime and psychological thrillers.
The Trilogy Kanke Killings ends with the third one 'Day Break'. The first was comparatively simple and dealing with the death and friendship, family etc of Khushbu. Also some politics and chase behind the murder. Basically it was answering a question whether her death was suicide or murder. By the second part Fatal Belief, things began to get more dimensions. More characters introduced and they are having a vast plot. Also there was a medical side too. In this one many more complications come regarding the murders. And that things thrills the readers, fill them with fear and ofcourse tempts them to turn the page. It is not an average read.. highly recommended.

"Depression is a delicate syndrome to be healed without considerable care. It is a condition, if I interpret it, even as an amateur. It requires to be addressed by counseling and conceivably also by appropriate follow-ups and medication."
This touched my heart. In this book the author has adapted a new style of telling the stories of the surrounding also. The prolouge is epic. And it will prolong in us even if close the book. It needs a bit more concentration from u than the first two parts. Nicely written
When writing crime fiction, always be mindful of the reader’s experience. People don’t seek out the crime genre in order to feel relaxed and comfortable. They want to experience the suspense of a lurking murderer or marauding cop gone rogue. Scare them a bit … or a lot. Day Break is perfectly written. It will take you to the scream. But the thing is that we must keep our mind vigilant, not to loose the track. Don't rush to finish the book.. take your time and read 'peacefully'. The book is taking you to a long journey, get set go.
The best thing I found about Day Break and the rest of the Trilogy is that the author has clearly depicted the date and time over each chapter regarding the varying time zones. It will keep the readers hooked. Also, there is an introductory part regarding the characters and their relationship between the characters thus providing clarity. The beautiful Trilogy is heart touching and unputdownable. Indeed, recommended to all readers. Happy reading!
I laughed, cried, amazed, got afraid, surprised sometimes I felt my the dead one was my best friend. The book was close to my heart. And was emotionally connected to me. There is a line "Raja and Amrita spent the day talking about Khushbu’s childhood. Raja told Khushbu’s stories to Amrita that she was not aware of. It was a mixed feeling. Her family was now complete with a dad and mom. She missed her friend the most, her lovely friend Khushbu." Khushbu's parents are really heartwarming.
It is an exhilarating read. Right from the beginning, the author had me hooked on the story. The portrayal of the inspector and the sub-inspector is amazing. They are shown to be strong and intelligent officers. The plot is very unique and intriguing. It was really fun to read the story to its conclusion. It has interesting twists and turns.
- It is a well-paced book. I really liked how the author connects all the dots and the loose ends towards the end of the book giving us an unpredictable yet satisfying ending. Overall, it is a great suspense-thriller read.
Driven by drama, intrigue, thrilling action, and problem-solving, crime novels are often page-turners that readers have a hard time putting down. Reading a crime novel can be just as exciting a process, as the author's imagination sets the stage for mystery and momentum. The author Kinshuk Kumar is a brilliant writer who kept all the mysteries and writing techniques to keep the readers tightly tied till the end. Fantastic read.
BOOK: Daybreak- A Murder Mystery Novel (The Last Book In The Kanke Killings Trilogy) AUTHOR: Kumar Kinshuk FORMAT I READ: Pdf PAGES: 242 GENRE: Thriller RATINGS: 5/5
DAYBREAK:
When writing a thriller, writers must balance a gripping plot with steady character development and vivid worldbuilding that puts readers in the action.
This is indeed a great thriller I've ever come across. The character development is visible throughout the story. Not any of the characters feel like over or better-not-to-mention. The balance is there throughout the Trilogy..
I am a great fan of crime thrillers, I think almost all the readers are. Day Break is little more psychological. This is a genre driven by the power of unfolding logical deductions and the thrill of the chase. The book is entirely the thrill of chase and also have emotional settings. A well deployed story is growing to different, taking a spread to different kind of regions and people. The book has 200+ pages but a simple language. However those who love this genre will be attracted to this. The author has a nice story sense.
"...but she figured out that she was a strong-willed lady and that she must have been an achiever."
This book is an absolute read for everyone. Amrita is the center of the story but all of the characters have their own uniqueness and space. The above said sentence is when Amrita and Eva meets and given as a soliloquy speech of Eva. And that moment was super cool. We can visualise the events. I really liked it hope you will also enjoy
Even though it was a mystery thriller, the book was full of emotions to me. I was really into the pain of Khushbu’s mother, Alka. She is self-pitying regarding the loss of her daughter. She feels the insecurities to live here as an Indian mother. But above all what was interesting is that the way Eva managed her psychological conflicts. The characters are soulful.
The Trilogy came to its Fullest. Was looking for the third part and it worth my wait. The book is written in a simple language but an intriguing style. The narrative is more interesting. Each and every characters are depicted in depth. Good to spend time with. The more you go deep the more you will find the politics behind this book.
A look at crime, policing, mercy killings, friendship and love in a country far removed from us. A brilliant police officer peels away at the onion to get to the killer. And the killer is brilliant too. Woven between the pages is the love that can explain mercy killings. It's not always just murder. It can be much deeper than than. Recommended.
Thus as an end to my wait the the third part is out. This is what I would like to call Wow making content.. I have literally no words to describe the story. We the way the author treated the female characters are also appreciated. The book was beyond my prediction. Start reading the Trilogy if u haven't yet started.
The book is written by Kumar Kinshuk. It is the third part of the trilogy 'Kanke Killings.'
The book uses simple language, and though the events and emotions described are little complex, but the book is reader friendly.
The book is not so short, and not so long. It is very entertaining read also, as this is a thriller. The characters are so amazing, like close to the heart. Interesting work by the author.
Day break is the third part of the Trilogy kanke Killings. It would be great if u have already read that and choosing this. But even though if u r fresh don't worry, there hints. The author has provided enough details. And that's a good side technically. This is more inner, I felt so. The journey towards the center of the people. Khushbu’s Mamma is a heart touching character here. Nicely written.
The cover was so pretty and powerful at the same time that it attracted me. Title is apt for the story. I liked the objectivity maintained by the inspector throughout the case. Not too obsessed but exactly how a responsible intelligent officer should be. Really appealing characters.
The page-turning genre of crime fiction stands out as one of the most popular genres of any fiction writing. The best crime writers like Elmore Leonard, Michael Connelly, and David Baldacci routinely top New York Times bestseller lists.
The Author of Kanke Killings put his best in the Trilogy. It was indeed great and highly recommended for readers who enjoy crime thriller. I am sure you will love it.
The essence of the story is mystery. Friendship, Romance, familial relationships etc are discussed throughout the books. So great to spend time with
I tip my hat to you Sir, the book is an absolute masterpiece, not only does it have a wide variety of characters but also the story maintains a certain pace making sure not to bore the reader, this has been one of my finest read in a long time, so much so that I'd highly recommend it.
An epic thriller thus ended. The Trilogy was a high level experience. And frankly beyond my expectations. I was totally into this. This is not a short novel. There are so many things inside especially in the second and third. Introduction of the character, 'Eva Black' was quite interesting and she is also interesting and all characters are. They are perfect in their own ways no flaws at all in character construction. Took some time to console myself after reading saying, this is just a fiction.
A long story ended in fast pace. The book is wonderfully captured and lovely moments too especially the relationship between Rajiv and Amrita, Eva and Raman. Also I also loved the love between the parents of Khushbu and Amrita. The book discusses India, culture, family, traditions etc. This book uses a simple language. This is not a simple read though. Discusses so many important topics also. The book is about not only a simple thing this vast and deep. A great read
The amazing masterpiece penned by author Kumar Kinshuk is worth reading more and more. The book captures the reader's imagination and leaves it's alluring hangover with the reader.
The book was very interesting. The book is an ultimate entertainer itself. Dear reader, you are not wasting your time or your money. This is a book with a wonderful story that I came across these days.
The story is a continuation of some murders and chasing happened in Kanke and Indian Town. There are political, regional, and even psychological topics are well discussed. And all those are in depth detailing. There is a room for romance and all natural human things. The language is simple. The book is not too short also quite entertaining.
The narrative jumps straight to action without much elaborate descriptions and delves into the heart of the mystery. I liked the 'to the point' treatment of the subject. The characterization is appropriate for the story. Would recommend if you like investigation and all.
This book is the third part of the 'Kanke Killings' Triology.
The narration is so gripping. There are three parallel storylines in this book - the stories of Amrita, Eva and Inspector Rajiv mainly. The plot is spread across Kabul and the author has covered the political aspect very well.
Will there be more killings in this book? Read on to find out what happens. This story is packed with action and suspense.
