A young couple just get engaged when tragedy strikes and takes Piper from Levi. More of a psychological drama this shows a couple in love, although not quite rom-com style. There's an underlying darkness in the sexual side of their relationship. A sadomasochistic controlling kink.
Levi falls into alcoholism and blurring the lines between reality and violent fantasy as anger boils underneath the surface as he grieves.
Soon things spiral out of control and he wants to explore his sexual desires.
Not my usual read and has some triggering scenes if you have ever grieved for a love one.
But a pretty good read. A few faults but with indie authors you expect it.
