This was not bad at all and with a line like "Why should Cinderella settle for the prince when she can have the king…and his best friend?" - of course it made me want to read it. Fortunately this one does feature a lot of the tropes from the fairy tale. I know the author took this novella and expanded it and it's a novel series now, but I think I am fine with the shorter format too.
It was spicy, it was quick, the MMCs were intriguing. The FMC - I don't know much about her, which is a tad bit weird (other than she cleans when she is stressed out) and made it harder to get into the story.

Who and what is Ella? Who is Joel, and how do they know or meet one another? Who are Kingston and Sebastian? I like King and Seb!!! The night of the Gala, things get interesting. Joel made me dislike him more than before. What job does Ella quit and why? I wanted more of this story when I got to the end. It was a fun read.
