The story itself was good. But so many misspellings! It was also hard to keep all the Don's straight. Once the author even messed up saying the Don that was coming after her was her father, it wasn't.

Buckle up this is one wild ride you are going to need to be to get through the twists & turns that await you. Okay can we say revenge taken to the next level, Rico sexy as all get out Mafia boss out to take out anyone/everyone who took out his entire family starting with the Bianchi family (well the head of the Bianchi family) now he knows he can’t just go after the man he wants because he is in hiding so he takes door number two his enemy’s daughter. She will be moved around like chess piece. His goal is to put a baby in her (short term goal) forcing her father to come out of hiding (long term) now both goals are achievable if you the other half is willing. Josie Bianchi is the daughter of the enemy, young and beautiful (if you have read any Mafia books they usually follow the rule of the daughter’s (Princess) are kept pure until married off by their father) well that applies to Josie what the world doesn’t know is that their family is in need of money they have what I call imaginary power with no money to back it so she is set up to marry a horrible man from another family but that isn’t the only reason her fiancé’ father threaten their lives ensuring she goes through with the marriage. Birthday/Engagement all on the same night will it all go as her father (stressing her father) has planned, will Rico go through with his plans or will fate step in changing everything everyone has planned so we have love and romance(shhhhhh it is supposed to be revenge only) alongside the drama.

This book is book six in then “Obsessive Mobster Series”and it is not necessary to have read any of the previous books in the series before reading this book. Rico Benetti had lost his entire family in a resturant fire years ago and ever since had dreams of revenge against the man he believed responsible. He had been told that the reclusive Don Bianchi was the man behind the attack. When his daughter becomes engaged he came up with a plan that would ensure that he would have his revenge. His plan was simple, abduct the daughter, make her pregnant and force the man out into the open where he could kill him. , or that his own Don would abandon him. This book was an absorbing read with a story line that was full of unexpected twists. Rico finds himself unable to take his revenge on the innocent daughter, she was in a difficult situation and he refused to let her become a casualty of his revenge. Three months later, Josie is pregnant and discovers Rico intends to kill her father, and she returns to her father with Rico hot on her trail. What happens next is unexpected as the true mastermind of his family's demise is revealed. I was surprised at Rico's change of heart! He had not expected to feel anything for his prisoner. She was to be a means to an end, instead he had fallen in love with Josie and wanted the child they created. The real men responsible for his family's death, he dealt with in a cruel and calculating manner that fit the crime.

Fantastic addition to the series. Rico, who is the Enforcer for the Porzio Family, is going to take out every Mob boss that had a hand in killing his whole family. He plans to start with the boss of the Bianchi family. Problem is he is hiding out so he'll have to go with plan B which is taking his daughter Josie getting her pregnant to lure out her father. Josie and Rico end up having the hottest chemistry together. Her father sends out his goons to kill his daughter when she and her best friend Kara are attacked after leaving her engagement party. Rico ends up saving Josie and Kara. As with all good revenge stories things go wrong. Plenty of twists and turns, suspense, and a few other surprises on the way. Great HEA for Rico and Josie. I received an ARC from the author and am voluntarily leaving my review. The final book in the Obsessive Mobster series is about Rico. He has his sights set on revenge. He makes plans and these are leading him to Josie. She is a mafia princess being used by her father for family gain. Her fiance is not who she wants to be tied to. Rico knows that he has to get to her. Josie ends up not being what he expected and that changes everything. They realize just how suited they are while on the run. The characters were great and the storyline made it hard to put down

Rico is out for revenge and when he cant get to the man he wants he will use his enemies daughter instead. Josie is set to marry a man her father chooses to keep their family afloat, but Rio has other plans to take her before that happens, his plan to get her pregnant and force her father o come out of hiding so he can exact his revenge but Josie is nothing like the spoilt princess he was expecting and plans change. well written engaging, steamy hot and action packed. a great addition to the series that can be read standalone.

With a blurb like this

I expect a resistant heroine who he has to manipulate behind her back and betrays her and that would have been a great book. But no the blurb gives you false evidence of what is inside. She wanted everything and wanted to sleep with him and then she wanted to get pregnant. She decides to get out of engagement to be with him. Everything is consensual and boring.

Also he is not a don when they meet so title makes no sense.

Ms. Romano’s new book is softer and lighter than her previous mafia romances. Don’t get me wrong, it’s still a great read and will keep you interested till the very end with some unexpected plot twists. If you’ve followed this series, you’ll no doubt pick up the subtle references to people and places from the previous stories however, it’s also perfect as a stand alone read.

This is the 6th and final book in the author’s Obsessive Monster series. This story follows Rico & Josie. This couple is easy to root for. They are made for each others. Rico is desperate for revenge against Don Bianchi for what he did to his Rico’s family. Josie is just basically a stars pawn at the start but things change quickly. Captivating and compelling

A very good book

This is the 5th book in the series and it’s very good. The H wants to stop the engagement of the h by getting her pregnant. He thinks that this will bring her father out of hiding so he can kill him. The H thinks her father had his family killed. There’s twists and turns along the way before they can get to their HEA. The plot and characters were very well written. Fantastic ending.

I give this 3.5⭐️ In a revenge plot gone wrong, there were tons of twists and turns. I liked the story and liked the characters, but I wished we got to see them connect more. Their romance felt really instant and almost unbelievable.
