The mystery behind a ghost story could be the answer to the mystery of their love...
You are warmly invited to an amazing story of romance and mystery… Three years ago, Emma Erickson, used to live with her mother in Dale Dyke Dam in Sheffield but after her mother's death from a destructive flood, she had to move with her grandparents to London.
She was of marriageable age and her grandparents thought she would agree to matchmake with Joel Taylor. Actually, she didn’t. She only cared to write and read stories about ghosts. But when she paid a visit to the Taylors family she unexpectedly found the younger brother, Timothy.
After all, Joel didn’t like the weird lady his mother found for him and he was determined they wouldn’t end up together. When she challenged him to pay a visit to a haunted house he found that she may be the only one who could understand him the most. Could it be true that they were meant to find each other for a reason?

While reading this story I found the timing for notes and letters written were received very fast some times as soon as the next morning and the distance between homes was a two hour carriage ride. So that was a little unnerving to hope a note would reach someone on time. Other than that the friendship to love story was lovely and loving. This was a good read with very little spooky 👻 ghost stories but there was a little ghostly interaction. Well done.
What an interesting and entertaining adventure of love and mystery
Beautiful characters bring this story to an amazing journey of adventure, mystery and romance. I absolutely enjoyed reading this book from the beginning to the end. The story line is excellent and detailed events with mystery and adventure. I definitely recommend reading this book to all audiences. I is quite entertaining and interesting. Excellent writing.definitely a must read. Congratulations on your amazing writing.
This is a very good story about a young woman that is a writer and her grandmother makes arrangements for her to marry but jt goes wrong because at first he does not believe in the supernatural but there is a twist and it is revealed to them both The characters are strong and realistic The extended epilogue completes the story with love and happiness and success A well written and enjoyable story
Love behind a Ghost Story is a sweet and clean regency romance that incorporates ghost stories and ticked my fancy with several brushes with the supernatural. Emma is a published author who considers marriage a low priority. However, her grandmother is determined to help her find a suitable husband. Joel is drawn to Emma, but conflicted. Their rule-breaking courtship certainly has its share of ups and downs.
This I did not finish - DNF. |For me the writer failed to set the period, and create a believable world. I really felt she needed to do some historical research about the social realities of the period the book is supposedly set in. As well some geography. The characters blah! What I did like was she chose not to write about titled people.
I loved the characters each one was interesting and played a strong role in the story. I wished that the distance between the two families was not so far. I guess I feel this way because I am a grandmother with bad knees. I was most pleased that there was no description of intimate matters. I would enjoy reading more books from this writer.
A very interesting book, not sure I can believe that everything is true but certainly interesting story! It take you away from the usual boy meets girl and the the happy ever after. A charming story and worth reading!
The author creates charming, relatable characters and tales chock full of emotion, tension, and even some danger. She got her wish in her dreams as he understood his dreams now.
I over the supernatural mixed in with the romance. also I really liked that she brought in human nature's tendency to doubt the others feelings. Plus the little surprise of the connection between the ghostly dreams and the couples life. I truly enjoyed this book.
