This was a nice frenemies to lovers novella that takes place around the Christmas holiday. Teesha and Kendrick were best friends in college until an internship situation went sideways putting a rift in their friendship and causing them to go 9 years without seeing each other. As chance will have it Teesha won a vacation to the French Alps and is staying in a luxury cabin that also happens to be occupied by Kendrick. She is still mad at him for what transpired years ago but this forced proximity causes them to discuss the situation and her to understand that it was a misunderstanding on her part all those years ago. It also causes them to see that there is an attractiveness that has grown over the years and they now could possibly become friends again and even more.
While I enjoyed the book, for me personally, it didn't flow that easily for me as it would be in one scene and then have a flashback or a thought to something that happened in the past so it kind of took a little way from the current scene. That could just be a me issue but for the lack of flow I gave the book 4 stars.

Second chance romance is not always my favorite because I’m usually like, ‘omfg, ✨that✨ is what you were mad about?!’ However, in this story, I totally sympathized & was all, ‘yup, he deserved to be cut off bye’ 😂
Something that’s so beautiful about people coming back into your lives after such a long absence is the intimacy of catching up & rediscovering each other— the invitation to learn what’s changed since you were that close & what’s remained consistent. I was rooting for these two, as their connection & love was so evident in these pages! I absolutely loved the ending, full of hope & possibility for our love interests🥰
Also I continue to be hot & bothered thinking about the billiards/pool scene 🥵

Teesha Palmer won a ski trip to the French Alps and never in her wildest dreams did she think she would have to share a cabin during a blizzard with her old college friend, Kendrick McLaughlin. The last time they spoke was not a positive incident and turned them into enemies. Now due to the blizzard they are forced to communicate and clear the air.
I enjoyed this installment in the Baes of Christmas series and Ms. Arthur crafts a wonderful story
of the enemies to lovers trope. Teesha and Kendrick built a friendship during college that showed signs of mutual attraction but they did not act on it during college. One incident changed their friendship and it is years later before they clear the air and also finally acknowledge the attraction. Readers will love this story.

Christmas sex wins
This forced proximity frenemies to lovers story was a very entertaining Christmas read. I mean how can you not love a Christmas that’s sexy from beginning to end. AC brought the heat for this one. I was pleasantly surprised to see someone not named Taylor from Temptation, VA. Hopefully we’ll see these two again in the future. This is definitely a book I’d revisit again during Christmas season or just when I’m in a festive mood. If you like sexy Christmas stories, I would definitely tell you to add this to your library.

Teesha and Kendrick were bestfriends and when there was a miscommunication it ended. Years later they are together on a trip Teesha won and she is not happy. Reminiscing about the past, they realize they wanted to be more than friends. I loved how the author told their story and rekindling more than a friendship. Teesha finally got want she wanted, her man and her dream job. This was such a great ending to the entire series!!!

A perfect love story.
Kendrick and Tessa meet again after nine years. They were college friends who wanted the best for each other. There is a falling out and the friendship dissolves. They meet again and sparks fly. After a week together, she is offered a job to work for his company and by his side. The love is there, they have both grown up. This is a second chance opportunity. Beautiful story.

This is always one of my favorite tropes especially when the couple always seemed to have feelings for each other that they weren’t able to recognize or accept. Kendrick and Teesha started as friends and a disagreement tore them apart but being snowed in brought them back to where they should have been…together!

This short story has it all. History, chemistry, passion and forgiveness. Well written story on friendship and an unknown love that was hidden and overlooked due to being young and dumb. Spending the holiday in the French Alps with an unexpected piece of eye candy. What more could a girl ask for.

A Second Chance Novel
This book was a joy to read. From best friends to enemies due to a misunderstanding years ago. Stuck together for a week with an attraction that is scorching hot led Kesha and Kendrick to reestablish a comfort with one another that years apart couldn’t destroy while in the process of falling in love. Kudos to A.C. Arthur on another good book.

Great Read!
I enjoyed reading this book about Kendrick and Teesha! There was was so much history and chemistry between these two that even though she wanted to hate him, that attraction was just too strong! I do know that everyone who reads this book will enjoy it! I definitely did! I recommend this book!
