Scarlett Force #2

Unholy Terrors

Rate this book
Seriously? You’re back again? It’s clear you don’t value your own life.

Look, last time, I threatened to kill you. That was rude; I’ll admit it. But you read through my story anyway, so you must be dying of curiosity.

Or maybe you’re like me, and it’s the adrenaline that gets you, the thrill. You want your foot on the throttle, the wind in your hair, and a sturdy f*ckboy … or two or three.

But what if there are four? Four unholy terrors. Four men to warm your bed … or wait beneath it, watching from the shadows. And what if you had to pick one to die?

Ash Kelly. Who knew I’d be dating a dead boy? He might be wearing someone else’s skin, but it’ll always be Ash for me. Ash, the obsessive one, the one with the most to lose, the one I can’t trust. My biggest secret.

Kellin Bohnes is always there for me, but he keeps a bulldozer-turned-tank in his warehouse. He has eyes everywhere, but mostly he has eyes for me. Also, he brought me a severed head as a present. His love for me is escalating.

There’s always Adrian Lawless aka Widow to fall back on. He reads romance and strums a guitar, but he isn’t the type to give up on a woman. Not when he’s already claimed her. Not even when he has to help bury the evidence.

Did I mention my cold prince, Alexei Grove? With his father gone, he has nothing left to lose. Piece by piece, his sanity falls apart in my hands, and I love every minute of it. Touch me with your black-gloved hands, sir … Don’t stop.

And of course, you know me—Scarlett Motherf*cking Force.

I’m your only friend: remember that.
Let me warn you one last time; I really don’t want to write your epitaph.

So hit the gas and get the hell out of here.
Just … remember to check the back seat first.

Someone might be waiting for you there.

Love, Me

UNHOLY TERRORS is a 120,000 word mature high school/new adult romance with enemies-to-lovers/love-hate themes. This book contains a lot of foul language and sexual scenes; any sex featured is consensual. This is a reverse harem novel, meaning the main character has more than one love interest. The Scarlett Force series will conclude with a happy ending. This is book two in the series.

C.M. Stunich is a self-admitted bibliophile with a love for exotic teas and a whole host of characters who live full time inside the strange, swirling vortex of her thoughts. Some folks might call this crazy, but Caitlin Morgan doesn't mind - especially considering she has to write biographies in the third person. Oh, and half the host of characters in her head are searing hot bad boys with dirty mouths and skillful hands (among other things). If being crazy means hanging out with them everyday, C.M. has decided to have herself committed.

She hates tapioca pudding, loves to binge on cheesy horror movies, and is a slave to many cats. When she's not vacuuming fur off of her couch, C.M. can be found with her nose buried in a book or her eyes glued to a computer screen. She's the author of over thirty novels - romance, new adult, fantasy, and young adult included. Please, come and join her inside her crazy. There's a heck of a lot to do there.

I'm a big fan of C.M. Stunich's writing. That being said, this series has a lot of corny moments. It's over the top at times, and you have to suspend your disbelief more often than not. I won't deny any of that, but it has one thing that makes it an absolute must read for me, and that one thing is Kellin motherfucking Bohnes!

He is EVERYTHING!!!!

His bizarre romantic gestures and twisted declarations of love stole my fucking soul! Probably because I'm fucked in the head, but it is what it is, y'all! I 100 percent would not care if every other character in this series fell off a damn cliff. His character is a fucking masterpiece, and honestly, Scarlett Force doesn't deserve him.

It's important to note that I'm not a reader that says shit like that. EVER. I want every book I read to be reverse harem, and I always want the heroine to love each of her men equally and give them equal time, affection, pussy, etc. This is the first time that I've felt the exact opposite. I'm not overly hard on my heroines either. I don't excuse everything the hero does, but crucify the heroine for the same. I'm not that reader.

Bohnes is just in a league of his own, and Scarlett doesn't appreciate him the way she should. That's my opinion. I'm sure others will disagree, and that's okay! I had to vent, and for once, I did it in a review.

I'm not trying to knock this book. I don't want it to come across like I am. If I didn't like it, I wouldn't take the time to review it. I've enjoyed reading both Unholy Terrors and Fuckboy Psychos, and I fully expect the author to make me change my mind about anything that is bothering me before the end of the Scarlett Force series. I've only read part of this story, and things can and will likely change before the end. These are just my thoughts at this point in the journey. Nothing more.

If you read this far, thank you for listening. Lol

Oh, and in case you were wondering, I'm definitely going to read the next book in the series as soon as it comes out!

Tiresome pose. Angst. OTT. If this was a show it’d be a Spanish Telenovela with the usual overacting.
Pet peeve virgins & cliffhanger. 2 I’m ready to wrap this series up stars

Unholy Terrors

“Normal is filth. Normal is complacency. Normal is accepting that this hideous world is right, and you are wrong. I don’t accept that. Not at all.” -Bohnes 😍😍😍

Gosh I swear I was sitting on the edge of my seat this whole time, let me tell you I need this next book now!! 😂

My love for Bohnes grew with each page and he is my favorite f*ckboy/boyfriend 💕 you don't need normal when you have someone like him.

I absolutely loved that Scarlett opened up more in Unholy Terrors 💞

That cliffhanger though 😵😵😵

Yep, I went straight into book two after book one. The bodies are piling up, though the MCs don't really seem to have gotten any further into sorting things out than the first book. But they have gotten further with Scarlett.

The start said we were going to see one of her guys die again, and I've finished, so I really need to know... WHO DIED? Seriously, the wait for book three is going to be killer because I need to know. I don't want any of her messed up little psychos to die.

cw: sexually explicit scenes involving minors

- we get it. scarlett and the guys are psychos and dark and monsters. we don’t need to read it every other sentence just like we don’t need to read that scarlett is “scarlett motherfucking force” all the time
- i genuinely don’t understand why they all want to marry scarlett when none of them even know each other 😭 they’ve never had a single conversation about one another and they’re all falling at her feet. and i’d say the only one who really knows her is bohnes because he’s probably stalked her from the moment they met, but even so she doesn’t know him at all 😭 everything is related to sex and sex alone with this group. i miss the days when stunich developed the relationships
- i refuse to believe any of these characters are/were virgins. or that they’re all 17-19 years old. it’s just laughable tbh
- honestly she tries too hard, with this series in particular, to make it dark and edgy when in reality it’s just a lot of hectic things happening in quick succession between all the sex talk and having
- and tbh since we didn’t have much of development between scarlett and lemon, only what’s said went down in the past, i didn’t care about what happened or how scarlett felt
- also she didn’t forget that this is supposed to take place before havoc like i originally thought but… the timeline doesn’t make any sense to me. havoc 1 came out in 2019, before the pandemic. meaning scarlett should ALSO BE BEFORE THE PANDEMIC but somehow they take place after???? when in reality havoc should take place during/after because stunich likes to write in current time???

Muuuuch better.

Now we’re getting somewhere.

Especially with Bohnes.
DAMNIT I hate the H in his name but boy do I love his character development here. Makes me appreciate his part in all of it much more.

Big fan of Widow and Alexei as well.

Still not a huge fan of Ash.
And honestly not a huge fan of Basti, her bff.

Then again, this book is a lot more boy-centered than bff centered.

I despise the way she handled telling her friends about Lemon. Seemed cowardly. But I get it was a tough situation. Still, annoying the way she acted.

Did we get a cliffhanger ending, yes we did.

Did we further the plot? I’m still left wondering how all of this will tie together. I mean… the mob. The police. The mayor. Against… 5 teenagers…

Okkkkkkk.

Let’s see how book 3 goes.

Edit: have y’all googled the cars they all drove? Tbh I’m surprised Scarlett drove a Pantera, the car really isn’t that good looking.
The Chevelle? Beautiful.
Stingray? Cute.
Miura, adorable.
Fastback? RIP.
But the Pantera? Mehhhh.

Oh my gosh. That book has me shooketh. What a wild crazy ride. CM delivered with Scarlett and her boys and she did not disappoint. Wow. Just when I thought I had a grasp on what was happening, BAM it took a left turn and I did not see it coming. Scarlett’s men make this story…like yeah they make it hotter but they really help carry the story along. Scarlett is such a strong determined FMC. I can’t get over how much she gets put through but never loses focus. I had some flashbacks to HAVOC. And I wasn’t sad. But the ending. Gear up, it was definitely a rough one! I’m so excited for the next book to come out but dang this book hangover is pretty awful.

Wow. Honestly, I fell in love with this series and I hate to see any of the characters hurt but this is so well written that I feel like I intimately know them. Not their secrets yet, but in due time after all we do have two more books to figure it all out! Uggghhh, I couldn't wait to get my greedy little hands on this book, and now I don't think I can wait for the next. Well, not without screaming, swearing, and throwing things. I love Bohnes.

Mind the cliff (literally)

Wow. There are cliffhangers, and then there's that literal cliff that Caitlin just threw us off. I don't want to spoil this so I won't say much. All I'll say is that Scarlett Force is now my second favorite Stunich character of all time (sorry but no one beats Bernie) and I'm obsessed with this story. I'm actually hoping for at least 2 or 3 more books because I'm not ready to say goodbye to these character at the End of the next book. Also, Bohnes is mine. What are you waiting for? Go read this book!

Book: Scarlett Force
Read By: Ebook
Author: C.M. Stunich
Genre: Reverse harem, Dark Romance, High School
Recommend: Yes
< b>Age recommendation: 16-30+ Years
My feelings:

Once again, Cm stunich has struck gold with this series. It has taken up a permanent residence in my mind, weaving its way through my thoughts and leaving a lasting impression. I thought I was obsessed with HAVOC, but after devouring all three books in one go, Scarlett Force has solidified its place among my favorites. Let's start with the male leads. Bohnes, in my opinion, is possibly the most perfect man in existence. Out of all the men vying for Scarlett's affection, he stands out as my favorite. From his charming demeanor to his unyielding devotion to Scarlett, I fell head over heels for him from the very beginning. If this wasn't a reverse harem, I would have gladly read an entire series centered around just Bohnes.

“When we die,” Bohnes whispers against my ear, rubbing his thick, velvety shaft against my slick folds, “let’s be buried in the same grave.”

Widow remains a mystery to me, and yet there is something undeniably intriguing about him. As the books progress, his character seems to shift and change, leaving me constantly on edge and wanting more. There was a noticeable shift after the infamous kitchen chapter in book two that only adds to his enigmatic nature. Then there's Ash/Aspen, the wild card of the group. His insanity is palpable and electrifying, drawing readers in and keeping us on our toes throughout the entire story. And although things may not always go smoothly for him, I found myself rooting for his character and eagerly awaiting what will happen next in book four.

I’m simultaneously repelled and very, very excited. I tear the underwear with violent fingers, but it doesn’t come off, just rips and drapes off her other thigh. Good enough. My body can feel hers through the fabric between us, and I can’t wait a second longer. I can’t wait.

But it's Alexi who truly captures my heart and attention in this series. The way CM Stunich depicts him is utterly captivating, and Scarlett's disregard for his boundaries only adds to her allure. I can't help but crave his touch throughout the entire book, hoping that he can find some semblance of balance amidst the chaos that surrounds them. As for the plot itself, I'm left with so many questions and theories swirling in my head. Will the focus shift back to Bohnes in the next installment? What about the mysterious mob that lurks in the shadows? Are they good or bad? And with knowledge of Scarlett's ultimate fate from HAVOC, my desire for book four only intensifies.
“Filthy,” I groan as she breathes against my neck, and my skin pebbles with goose bumps. “You’re so filthy; I want more. More. More.” I cup her ass even harder and pound into her, euphoria pooling in my belly..

In short, I can't recommend this series enough. CM Stunich's writing style is addicting, and Scarlett Force is like a dangerous addiction that I just can't quit. It's as if there's a little gremlin perched on your shoulder, whispering all the forbidden thoughts you never dare utter out loud. And with each turn of the page, it's like throwing that gremlin into a pool and watching it multiply, bringing to life all our hidden, disturbing desires. I am utterly and completely hooked.

Scarlett is coming apart in my arms, orgasming around me, on me, drawing me even more deeply inside of her. The euphoria I felt triples, and then my whole body is on fire; every muscle is taut and stiff, and I’m making terrible noises of my own.

3,5 -3,8 ish

First of i did not like this as much as i did with the first book. This book really felt to me like a rollercoaster, there where random things happening, chaos came at every turn, people getting killed, people stalking and mobs is involved in this mess. With Scarlett motherfucking force at the top, with her fuckboys, boyfriends, boytoys, future husbands and all that after her. Sometimes i just did not really understand what the heck was going on, like who was after who. Alexei, Widow, Ash/Aspen kelly and Bohnes. I really liked the fact that they did not knew each other from before, not even had met each other which is nice. Cuz i feel like usually there is either an established group of friends or the people that the heroine is collecting is knowing each other from somewhere. They all are so different from each other, richboy, reader, psycho, germ, mob boy, virgins( like 3/4) xD
Scarlett, she is very stubborn, has had a hard past which makes her has some issues with relationships, being the queen she is, being the best at racing and having boy troubles. I was just annoyed and frustrated with how she acted and her decisions sometimes.

It was really sad with what happened to Lemon, but i really just did not care that much either cuz she was just annoying, i was just choked that she and Scarlett had been friends for like 13 years. Damn. Sad with how they ended up.
Omg that cliffhanger at the ending?!! whaat gimme the next book

Damn, wondering how there’s another two of these to be honest.

We left it on a cliffhanger, and surely all can be boxed off in the next one? What other dramatics can be thrown into the mix to extend the inevitable?

Anyway, I do enjoy CM Stunich’s books- always a holiday favourite! But they are OTT and cheesy, and you have to suspend your beliefs of the capabilities of fucking teenagers. Because that’s what they still are. Yet you’d think they’re at least hitting their 40s: mob connections, assassination skills that rival me when I play Skyrim, their entire personalities…Anyway, as mentioned, suspend your beliefs. It’s hard because I am SO GOOD as a shadow assassin on Skyrim. I digress.

This needs more plot. More of the unbelievable plot that I was just complaining about in the above paragraph. Right. It could be a whole thing! Rich guys moving in on small, dump of a town, buying everyone out to gentrify. Corruption up to the eyeballs. In fact, am I watching an episode of Shameless US? More focus on this please, the fuckboy drama is too much!

And lemon? Lemon, who? 🍋
Short pangs of sadness followed by inappropriately timed fucking to forget, apparently to forget. Scarlett you selfish mofo!

Basti and Nisha have been thrown to wayside, I thought they were ride or die?

I’m dying to see how it all ends though. I ship Bohnes or Alexei, that chivalrous bastard. Kelly can fuck off.

Freaking insane! Crazy twists and dark, gritty deeds...I love each and every f*ckboy but somehow Boehnes has earned the top spot. This story gets quite intense while Scarlett and her men work together to unravel the evil mayor’s plot and deal with Alexei’s revenge. But the boys’ heads are full of thoughts of being the last man standing with Scarlett. So addictive and steamy...this series is hard to put down. I’m dying to know how this will turn out. Every corner they are backed into seems inescapable.

Just brilliant!!

What a story...I can't put it down!! How does CM come up with these characters!? The guys are sexy, dirty mouthed, dangerous and all have one thing in common...their love for an equally dangerous and sexy woman!! What I would give to be in Scarletts position!! Of course to add to this, you have an equally dangerous, additive and action filled plot....what could possibly go wrong??

Didn’t want it to end!

I don’t know how, but I love the men even more in this book than I did in the last one. Bohnes, Widow, Ash, and Alexie: All psychos, all very different personalities, but all so very obsessed with the Fmc. And who can blame them?

Scarlet is everything, her cockiness can be a little bit off putting at times, but she has the means to back it up. She’s an amazing leader who cares for her girls but is also incredibly weary, and emotionally closed off when it comes to her men. Poor Scar, all she wanted was some Fuckboys, but now all of them want to be more to her.

It’s hilarious watching her struggle when things get more romantic than sexual. All the poor guys want to do is date her and she is NOT having it. Will she give in?

Hashtag relatable on the Emotional intimacy issues. I don’t blame Scarlett for not trusting in love because of the trauma she’s witnessed it cause her family. She sees herself breaking the traditions of Prescott and escaping to a better life where it doesn’t involve becoming a trophy wife or a young mother.

It’s such a realistic desire and I support her as long as it involves her men 😉. Also if you guys read Havoc you just know the steam in this book hits the spot. Widow’s sex scene was…🥵

And did we finally get to see Alexie get down and dirty? Did he finally bite the bullet and have sex with Scar in a hazmat suit? You’ll have to read to find out 😉

As for the 2nd person that CM seems to be fond of putting in the beginning and end of her books. It’s not my favorite but I don’t hate it. I see it often used in poetry and what is CM’s writing if not poetical? I just thought I’d mention this as I saw a review complaining about it in the first book.

Virgin Heroes(Plural)
One H that has suffered sexual abuse.
Sexually confident fmc. Who lost her V previously to one of the H who also lost his to her.

Freaking loved reading this book!! So excited to read the third book, especially after that cliffhanger!!?????

FMC - Scarlett - about 18 years old, a kickass female, that runs an all-female gang of thieves and drivers. She is a queen, and a kickass driver. She has gotten mixed up in a politically plot and a Russian mob.

Harem:

Bones - the fixer, the killer, the man that get things that you want. He is so freaking possessive over Scarlett it is hilarious because both of them (well and majority of the males) are all alphas.
Adrain Lawless- Widow- has come from a past of trauma and is slowly dealing with that with Scarlett. His blooming relationship with her is really funny, because he basically said Scar will be his wife! HAHA LOL!
Ash- still pretending to be his dead evil twin, also really possessive of Scarlett, not keen about the others
Alexei - he has a severe case of germaphobia, doesn't like to be touched, but he lets Scarlett touch him though. LOL! Has ties with the Russian mob, witnessed his father's murder and is on the run, but trouble found him in the last few chapters

All males are so interesting and sexy all by themselves. But majority of them are alpha-holes, and not keen that they all want Scarlett. Really funny to read!

Sexiness: 6 out 5. Holy moly! This was so steamy!

Looking forward to book 3!!!

This review is of my own opinion.

I wish I could give this book more than 5 stars. I am completely hooked not only on the story but the phenomenal characters as well. Scarlet and her guys always seems to have too watch their backs and it’s getting more dangerous. I love Scarlet, Bohnes, Widow, Alexei and even Ash together. I can’t wait too read the next book especially how this book ended.

Pulled an All Nighter with Scarlett MF Force!

Well, here I am, metaphorically sitting in the Muira with Scarlet and Alexei, headed toward the river and BAM...
I've got to wait til March find out if I can survive with these two!
I only started getting to know the Crimson Crew and the F$#@boys yesterday. And they quickly became all I could think about. Two Scarlett Force novels down in a little over 24 hours, give or take a few cat naps...and I am currently unable to come back to reality!
I have not been sucked into a series this deeply in a long while! And I am never without a book or five going on from my monstrous TBR list.
Congratulations C.M. Stunich! Your storytelling is raw, emotional, and consumingly spectacular!
For those who gave poor ratings, she warned you!
This was no sweet romance. This was hard, gritty, and raunchy bare bones (no pun intended) life on the backward streets with a kick a$$ anti heroine and four hot traumatized anti heroes making the best of the cards they're dealt.
If this amazing story was too hard for some to believe or associate with the characters, I think they must never have lived on the wrong side of the tracks, nor could ever understand that there can be found a ferocious powerful erotic ambition in someone from the hood, the same as someone could from some glittering ballroom. And a woman can be that just as easily as a man! All hail Scarlett MF Force!
Now, while I wait on the next book with beyond baited breath, I am going to go slip into my 100th Anniversary Dodge Challenger and channel me some Scarlet, Bohnes, Widow, Ash, and Alexei! Thank you C. M. Stunich

"No villains. No heroes. Just messy, ugly, disgusting, infallible, incongruous, hypocritical, and violent people. That’s it." - Scarlett Force

Everyone was in their feelings with this one. The guys all want to kill each other, as well as kill anyone that so much as looks at Scarlett with less than kind intentions.

Scarlett is juggling sooo much and doing so with determination and without hesitation. I love her.

This book has wayyyyyyy more spice than book one. The foundations for future bromances are being laid but not consciously or willingly. As a reader, you will definitely see some fragile trust and alliances being made between the men.

I really appreciate rhetoric in regard to exploring one's wants, interests, and lack of interest in monogamy, especially at such a young age. I feel like the writers from Degrassi could probably use this RH as inspiration for a special. LOL

I am not happy that I stupidly thought the third book was dropping THIS month and not in 2 months. Luckily, while this has a nail-biting cliffhanger but it's not one that will keep you up at night crying because the author drinks our tears. It's more Duke of Hazzards....

obsessed!!!

I love this series. I love all of the characters even her gang girls and Basti of course. I love their continual development throughout both books so far. I love the mob, police, mayor and the “something is rotten in Prescott” plot. I can’t wait to find out how deep the scandal goes and who is involved. Also the steam!!! Okay super weird when I read about high school students and steamy bits but let’s be honest I was doing some of the things these kids were doing back in my day (sans burying bodies). It helps that they read a ton older. I think the storyline wouldn’t flow to well with college or adults just based on their lack of responsibilities.
I love the cars. I’m not a huge car person but I’ve really enjoyed researching all of the cars in this book.
So I highly recommend this series I can’t wait to finish it. Also I love that Stunich always has a male character who reads romance novels and she gave a nod to Groupie which is one of my favorites. Team Bohnes all the way!!!!!! Team Widow then Russian dude but I don’t super love Ash. However, I’m waiting for a steam scene with all the guys.
