C.M. Stunich is a self-admitted bibliophile with a love for exotic teas and a whole host of characters who live full time inside the strange, swirling vortex of her thoughts. Some folks might call this crazy, but Caitlin Morgan doesn't mind - especially considering she has to write biographies in the third person. Oh, and half the host of characters in her head are searing hot bad boys with dirty mouths and skillful hands (among other things). If being crazy means hanging out with them everyday, C.M. has decided to have herself committed.

She hates tapioca pudding, loves to binge on cheesy horror movies, and is a slave to many cats. When she's not vacuuming fur off of her couch, C.M. can be found with her nose buried in a book or her eyes glued to a computer screen. She's the author of over thirty novels - romance, new adult, fantasy, and young adult included. Please, come and join her inside her crazy. There's a heck of a lot to do there.

MORE BOHNES PLEASE

That’s it. That’s the review. I want more Bohnes in every single way possible. I would like him on every page of every chapter, and at least 50% of the novel to be Bohnes related spice. I am in love with that man and I want to spend as much time with him as I can.

Also, is it just me, or is the writing even more cringey than normal? She literally typed and published LOL multiple times unironically. The fact that this is supposed to be set before the Havoc series (both of which are supposedly in the not so distant future) and yet she constantly references modern (at time of release) songs especially is super confusing and mildly irritating. This is something she does across all of her series, so it’s not a particular gripe against the book but against the writing style. I firmly believe that no editor ever looks at these before they’re released (LOL) (do you see what I did there?).

I like how we finally addressed a plot hole that’s been bothering me for centuries (if you read the Havoc series, you know that Scarlett Force was famous for having *three* boyfriends, not four) so I’m glad we got some half assed clarification on that, but it still doesn’t make sense to me yet. Perhaps we’ll get a better explanation.

Bottom line, Bohnes. Bohnes.

Where do I start.... Book 1 was really good, Book 2 just good. This story in Book 3, just seemed to be travelling at a much slower pace, almost like it was being dragged out. Unsure if this was deliberate to stretch out the series.

Pet peeve, repeated use of a characters full name throughout a book/series. Yes, its Scarlett Force!!! 😖 I really came to dislike the main female character in this book, and didn't feel much was happening with the heros. And it seemed to be Scarletts way or the highway.

I will not be rating this book.

I love how messed up these books are. They're so deliciously murdery and unrealistic and just a whole bunch of disturbing and whacked up enjoyment.
Let's be real: plot-wise, it doesn't really add anything or go anywhere. There're maybe two paragraphs of revealed information that are pertinent to anything. But I am here for the journey, not the destination, and it is a darkly wicked trip.

not my fav

Honestly it’s been hard for me to read these books. I enjoyed the first one and decided I needed to continue the story, but I don’t like Scarlett at all now. She annoys me… all she does is talk about non sense and her fuckboys..
she’s all about what Prescott is about and this is having fuckboys…it sounds like she’s been doing this for years… yet she just lost her virginity. It doesn’t make much sense… and calling it pop your Cherry… seriously…
I skipped so much by the last quarter of this novel. Only reading the quotations to get through the book, because like I said all the in between talk is nonsense and you can pretty much keep up with the book by only reading the quotations…

What just happened???

I absolutely love Scarlett MF Force! I also love each of her guys for completely different reasons. The story definitely picked up and did not disappoint in the slightest, especially when adding tons of new twists, turns, roadblocks, and obstacles to what they’re already facing.
The status changes of the guys is great, especially as Scarlett is realizing they aren’t just FBs for her. Her loyalty to her family, crew, guys, and her community are inspiring, but still a little nerve wracking when her own safety is in jeopardy protecting others.
Seeing how Scarlett became the Queen is perfectly done and I’m so glad to actually see how she earned and keeps that title.
I’m dancing around any real specifics because I don’t want to spoil anything but the guys interactions with each other are hilarious in a mentally unstable way and their ways of showing romance are sweet in a psychotic way too. However, that entire ending was just jaw dropping (not as scary as last book, thankfully) and I really need Stalking Nightmares ASAP! I cannot wait to see what happens next and how each of them are or will be effected because I really do want to see Scarlett & all 4 guys end up together!

Wow did I really start this book in Dec of 2022? Lmao.

I ORDERED A NEW KINDLE READER SO I AM BACK TO MY READING DAYS.

Someone cue a comeback song pls.

Tbh I don’t remember half of this book since I apparently started it six months ago, which checks with the lack of memory.

I’m in this series for Bohnes.

Dear, dear Bohnes.
Our ghoul
Our dark night
Our Nightmare

He is every girl’s wet dream & summmmm.

Tbh yet *another* cliffhanger ending which, part of it didn’t really surprise me. But like… Stunich, pls stop with the dramatic cliffhangers. Change it up a bit pls. (Notice how I keep using “pls”? Yeah annoying right? Just like the constant cliffhangers. Let’s switch things around a bit, eh?)

ESPECIALLY since book 4 is NOT OUT YET??? Why? It took me 7 months to read book 3 so by now book 4 should DEF be out but all it says is 2023. When?? Why so long??? :’)

I will review the other characters & how I liked them in this book:
Scarlett: grew on me just a TINY bit more
Widow: love his King arc, POP OFF.
Alexei: has really lost himself to the darkness. Poor guy just wants his Papa back *crying*
Ash: I mean I guessssss he’s OK at best *rolls eyes, clacks nails together*

And by clacking nails I mean I WISH I WOULD go to the salon & get them done but I’m taking a break from that.

Overall, nothing too memorable here except secrets, secrets everywhere being discovered.
Which is GREAT EXCEPT WTF IS GOING ON. I feel like a lot is left to be said in the final book.

That is all.
Can’t wait for book 4 I have questions.

It's really hard to enjoy a book when you can't stand the MFC.

I loves Scarlett in book 1 but in the last two books she's coming across as arrogant...

I might read book 4 but I'm not gonna go out of my way to nothing really happened in this book it was more of a filler.

Alexei is still my favourite and I love a good rh but if he found someone better I honestly wouldn't be mad 🤣

Rating this book 2 stars and those are just for Alexei because he's so funny and sweet 😍🙊 I'd give him more stars but then it looks like I'm rating the book more stars than it deserves.

if it was the last book in the series i’d finish it and be done with it but it’s not unfortunately

it’s the third book and the boys haven’t bonded yet and the just don’t want to share
alexei acts the same

i was looking forward to this book but when i started reading it i just couldn’t get into it, the release date was delayed so many times i already forgot the plot

also the plot isn’t that deep so i don’t understand the need to prolong the series more

just ok

Her 1st two books in this series were *chef’s kiss* but this whole book just seemed like filler. It was O.K but it didn’t keep me interested I can usually devour 1 of her books in a day. It took me 3 to make it through this one. A lot of this book seemed like a waste which disappoints me because I love her books. This does end on a cliffhanger so there will be a book 4. I’m really hoping that one makes up this one.

Oh wow this book was amazing. Scarlett and her f@#boys have so much on their plate and things just keep getting more complicated. Lots of secrets revealed in this book and some seriously steamy sex. Can't wait for the next book to see how they get themselves out of the mess there are in. I think Alexi has just become my favorite or her boys in this book.

Savor this Read

I-I made the mistake of not taking my time reading this and now I’m nursing the worst book hangover ever.

Let me start by saying this book took me on a wild and volatile roller coaster ride of emotions, and made me fall even more deeply in love with these hopelessly devoted f*ck boys. I loved every single minute of it!!!

Don’t fret too much, you’ll be at the edge of your seat while reading for most of this book, but you will also be laughing your arse off for the other majority of it as well. Because let me tell you!!! These f*ck boys are quirky as hell and adorably obsessed with Scarlett, and that makes their interactions with one another hilarious and INCREDIBLY jealousy fueled!! I FLOVED IT.

I guess the only thing I can say Is: Someone has betrayed Scarlet! Can you guess who it is? You’ll have to read to find out.

Warning this book does end on a cliffhanger, and I’m already dying for the next one.

This one is probably my least favorite in the series so far. Honestly, I didn't much care for Scarlett - I thought she was a bit nasty at times. The term "fuckboy" was way overused. This series has been completely over the top from the beginning, but this one took the cake. It just didn't suck me in like the previous two did. Even my obsession with Bohnes dulled because of the way he spoke to Scarlett, all poetic and old-fashioned. It was meant to be creepily romantic, I guess? It just turned me off and then I got annoyed because I really liked him before. I struggled to finish this one, but am three books in, so will finish out the series.

Downgrade in rating is solely based on there being a massive cliffhanger and the 4th book isn’t mentioned by the author regarding a release date other than “2023” on their website and no mention on release date on socials… I’m reviewing on Nov 26, 2023. I hope it will happen because I’m invested, but I wish I knew there was another book pending to avoid not finishing the series. Also, I’d assume that the author must have lost steam on this series given this publishing date being a year and a half ago. Sucks because the cliffhanger was brutal on top of everything.

Why this author's FMC's becomes so annoying starting from book 3?! I feel like it is partially because the character starts to become too much political, and I honestly don't know if she only wants americans to read her books, because as someone from another country that has shit of their own, I don't want to read about all these american politics.

Scarlett started as a fun character, but became so annoying that it saddens me. I hate how she's rude to people that are just working, like, I'm sure that she wouldn't like to have people being rude to her out of nowhere.

I get it, Widow is the author's favourite boy, because he was all over this book, and I felt like he was the Victor (from HAVOC) of this harem. I don't like Widow, he went from 0 to 100 in the sex department too fast.

Bohnes was barely in this book, I don't really love him, he's just there.

I still love Alexei and Ash and they're the reasons why I'm going to finish this series. I need to see them get their HEA, even if I don't really like their girl.

Just a little rant about things that makes me go crazy in these books.
- I'm sorry but you can't have a handsome guy and want him to get weird looks just because of tattoos, it doesn't work like that, I think that tattoos was looked upon years ago, now, people just don't care.
- Rules are there for a reason, mostly to keep people safe (not saying that all rules are right), and Scarlett getting pissed because she wouldn't get her way made her look like the brat that she calls the rich kids so much.
- You can't keep your "eat the rich" attitude when your FMC will literally end up with two rich boys.
- I'm sorry but having the love interests calls their lover by their full name is annoying and doesn't show intimacy like you're trying to portrait.
- Scarlett winning the race was far fetched, be the best doesn't mean that the person never loses, the best sportspeople lost competitions and it doesn't make them less amazing.
- You can't keep saying that you're a feminist when your FMCs keeps beating girls out of nowhere, or just because those girls looked at their boys, and also, what is it about complaining about people's cosmetic procedures? let people do what they want, stop name calling woman on your books because they're working and not falling at the FMC feet.

This is gonna sound like a rant, because it is.

Book 1, I kind of liked Scarlett and i liked the guys’ different backgrounds and traumas. It was nice that the guys weren’t normal and “perfect” as many seem to be written in different RHs and I could even ignore the repetition of full names and descriptions.

Book 2, was a hot mess and that’s putting it lightly. Scarlett pissed me off to no end. The way she handled the whole Lemon situation was disgusting. Who the hell keeps the death of their best friend a secret for a whole week (or was it two? I don’t remember) and continues having sex and partying and racing and whatever the hell else she did during said week? Also what the hell is up with her remembering Lemon at the most random times? Yeah she’s grieving but it just felt forced, like the author wanted to move on to other events but couldn’t. Oh, and using the word psycho every five seconds and trying to make it a personality trait made me want to reach in the the book and strangle her. Out of the guys, Bohnes was the most tolerable but the rest..just no. Their characters had high potentials if the author had explored them right but they all fell flat.

Book 3, couldn’t be bothered with tbh.

Book 4, definitely won’t be reading.

The plot of the series overall was good but Scarlett’s character kinda ruined it, that and the fact that there’s no character development for any of the guys either. From the little bit i read in book 3, they all still hated each other and weren’t planning on changing. Idk i had really high hopes since i loved the Havoc series but oh well.

I don't care much for the other 3 but man no one does dark romance like Kellin Bohnes. Even I'm a little in love with his psychotic nature. He presents his love with "First, the fingers of a groper. Second, the head of a goon. Next, the penis ofa molester." So creative. Like a cat presenting gifts to his master.

It was really funny when Scarlett began upgrading her men's status like a consort, from f*boy to boyfriend to finance to nightmare. Omg I love the Nightmare terminology.. to be more than a lover, an ex-husband, to be together in shadows and beyond the grave.

Book 3 was pretty draggy. I wished for more story and less nonsense. There was much rage and incompetence and less progression.

Omg I wish that I could give this story 5 stars. This book is so insane that I was completely hooked. Scarlett, Bohnes, Widow, Alexei and Ash still have too watch their backs. No one can be trusted and when secrets are revealed, they will blow your mind. Bohnes and Widow are my absolute favs, I just can’t get enough of them. I’m completely obsessed with all CM’s books and they are definitely always one-click reads. Absolutely another phenomenal read that everyone must read.

Book: Scarlett Force
Read By: Ebook
Author: C.M. Stunich
Genre: Reverse harem, Dark Romance, High School
Recommend: Yes
< b>Age recommendation: 16-30+ Years
My feelings:

Once again, Cm stunich has struck gold with this series. It has taken up a permanent residence in my mind, weaving its way through my thoughts and leaving a lasting impression. I thought I was obsessed with HAVOC, but after devouring all three books in one go, Scarlett Force has solidified its place among my favorites. Let's start with the male leads. Bohnes, in my opinion, is possibly the most perfect man in existence. Out of all the men vying for Scarlett's affection, he stands out as my favorite. From his charming demeanor to his unyielding devotion to Scarlett, I fell head over heels for him from the very beginning. If this wasn't a reverse harem, I would have gladly read an entire series centered around just Bohnes.

“I want you to let me be your monster.” He takes my hands and puts them on either side of his neck, his own eyes closing as he puts pressure against my palms. “Leash me. Please, Scarlett. Hold me hostage. Keep me captive.””

Widow remains a mystery to me, and yet there is something undeniably intriguing about him. As the books progress, his character seems to shift and change, leaving me constantly on edge and wanting more. There was a noticeable shift after the infamous kitchen chapter in book two that only adds to his enigmatic nature. Then there's Ash/Aspen, the wild card of the group. His insanity is palpable and electrifying, drawing readers in and keeping us on our toes throughout the entire story. And although things may not always go smoothly for him, I found myself rooting for his character and eagerly awaiting what will happen next in book four.

Nightmare (noun): a boy who dedicates himself fully to a girl, who will kill for her, die for her, fight for her, even if she forgets he exists, even if he blends into the shadows, even if he’s remembered so little and so infrequently that she isn’t sure if he’s a dream or a real boy or … Alternate evolution from the typical fuckboy-cum-boyfriend-cum-fiancé-cum-husband route. More permanent. A forever sort of thing..

But it's Alexi who truly captures my heart and attention in this series. The way CM Stunich depicts him is utterly captivating, and Scarlett's disregard for his boundaries only adds to her allure. I can't help but crave his touch throughout the entire book, hoping that he can find some semblance of balance amidst the chaos that surrounds them. As for the plot itself, I'm left with so many questions and theories swirling in my head. Will the focus shift back to Bohnes in the next installment? What about the mysterious mob that lurks in the shadows? Are they good or bad? And with knowledge of Scarlett's ultimate fate from HAVOC, my desire for book four only intensifies.
know, I know, curiosity killed the pretty, little pussycat, but I can’t help myself..

In short, I can't recommend this series enough. CM Stunich's writing style is addicting, and Scarlett Force is like a dangerous addiction that I just can't quit. It's as if there's a little gremlin perched on your shoulder, whispering all the forbidden thoughts you never dare utter out loud. And with each turn of the page, it's like throwing that gremlin into a pool and watching it multiply, bringing to life all our hidden, disturbing desires. I am utterly and completely hooked.

“Alexis,” she breathes, and then she chokes on the words. “My sister … she sold me out to the mayor.”

I suppose it's a good thing that this book irritated me, as I've come to understand that the 4th book should have been released years ago and has continuously had its pub date changed and now pulled altogether. Apparently this is normal with this author. Her only other series I read was the Prescott High one, which was thankfully complete at the time. Authors that drag you on this long while starting multiple other series and then leave those open ended as well, on massive cliffhangers no less, are just not it for me. I'm disappointed that I'll likely never finish this series knowing this now, but hey, that's the author's problem, not mine.

MY problem is this series altogether. I was here for it in the beginning, but we're in the third book now, and there has been little-to-no growth in any of the characters. Each guy is psychotically obsessed with Scarlett. Believe it or not, that's not what irritates me ay all. What irritates me is that they are each forcing a future of marriage, monogamy, and a kept life that anyone with half a brain and a vague understanding of her could see that that is NOT who she is, which tells me that these guys don't actually like HER. They've just happened to fixate on her. I'm not saying they won't all get there eventually, but I think Stunich nailed it way better with Prescott High and Havoc. By book three, I should start feeling the "family" come together. The guys should NOT still be threatening death to each other, and Scarlett should have become a bit closer with each of them by now in a way where I'd wish she'd stop responding to their pleas of a monogamous future with something more assertive; I wish she'd freaking claim them like they've claimed her. Three freaking books, and over 1000 pages and they still can barely tolerate being in the same room together. Honestly, that level of RELENTLESS possessiveness is just annoying at this point. It's very one-note. Like I have a VERY hard time believing that Scarlett would put up with it this long. There is just too much of a disconnect between her and all of the boys, and it just should NOT be that way this far in. It makes me feel like there will never be an adequate payoff, so what am I spending time, money, and energy investing in these books for, especially knowing that the subsequent books are years past due?

Lastly, something that's bothering me with this series and bothered me a lot with Prescott High as well is the sheer number of people these kids murder and then are NEVER caught. I just don't buy it. The lack of consequences to this specific aspect just takes me out of it.

Honestly, while this series isn't too bad, it's a bit ridiculous, corny, melodramatic, and most importantly, unfinished, long-winded, and emotionally disconnected. I have to say, I don't really think it's worth it. I've stopped in recent years giving blatantly negative reviews of books because as a writer, I can empathize with how much it takes out of you to write ANYTHING, let alone something even halfway decent, but knowing that the flow of the story is being disrupted by the author's inability to stick to pub dates just makes it all sit wrong. I want to actively discourage people from spending time, money, and energy on this series until it's complete at least. I will say that the ending definitely pulled me in and there were some great moments, but that just makes me more irritated in the long run because there is little hope of a finish.

If this series is finished and you're into RH and psychotically possessive men, this will definitely be fun for you, but if it is still incomplete, don't waste your time.

"Romance comes in the form of a severed penis, tucked inside a metallic blue jewelry box with a delicate white ribbon."

OKAY! So I have been impatiently waiting for Vile Bastards to come out. I mean that literal fucking cliff...hanger we were left on (damn you Stunich 🤬!) But when the book starts like that ^ how can I stay mad.

"My first thought is: how the fuck am I supposed to compete with a severed dick? Believe it or not, I’ve seen something like this before in another romance novel. Maybe two. Honestly … could be three or four. It’s considered the ultimate gesture of dark romance to gift a girl her attacker’s genitals. At this point, what more could I give to this woman?"

My little black heart absolutely loves this series 🖤 The cars. The violence. The mystery. The psychos. Scarlett Motherfucking Force!

But my favorite thing about this series/ book??? BOHNES 🖤 💀🖤 Don't get me wrong, I love all the guys, but Bohnes is THE Nightmare. Their date was everything and he bought her a mausoleum for them to be buried together 😭

“I want you to let me be your monster.” He takes my hands and puts them on either side of his neck, his own eyes closing as he puts pressure against my palms. “Leash me. Please, Scarlett. Hold me hostage. Keep me captive.”

“I’m going to haunt your dreams.” “You’re going to haunt my everything.”

I absolutely love this series and I will be impatiently...*cough*...I mean patiently waiting for "Stalking Nightmares."

"Trying to direct four very different energies and motivations is a pain in the ass. Pure havoc. Chaos. Mayhem. Anarchy."

“Can you please say, ‘My name is Alexei Grove. You killed my father. Prepare to die.’ It’d really take The Princess Bride references full circle.”

"Maybe our, uh, interaction earlier has calmed him down a bit? We’ll call it ‘pussy therapy’. Tight and snug, like a warm, squishy hug."

This is a review of the Scarlett Force series to date— Fuckboy Psychos, Unholy Terrors, and Vile Bastards.

If you’ve read CM’s Havoc series then you probably recall the name Scarlett Force. The main character of Havoc referenced Scarlett a few times and when CM’s readers kept asking who she was, CM decided to write her a series! I’m not sure I know of many authors who would do that. It’s pretty damn amazing.

Scarlett is quite possibly one of my favorite FMC’s of all time. The reason isn’t because she’s a badass which she most definitely is. It’s not because she’s strong and brave and extremely intelligent, or because she can beat anyone at the racetrack while wearing stilettos and a leather pencil skirt. But it’s because she is all of these things while also being loyal and generous and kind. Scarlett is good to her core while portraying a hard exterior, and I love and appreciate the nuance of her character.

Scarlett’s four love interests could not be more different and I love how completely obsessed each of them is with Scarlett. One thing I love about CM’s books is that you will not find a prototype character anywhere. Each character is distinctive and unique while also being extremely well developed. The spice level is high, with Scarlett having amazing chemistry with each of the MMC’s, and I’d consider this a medium-fast burn.

The plot is intricate and suspenseful with twists and turns galore. The multi-POV keeps things engaging and moving forward at the perfect pace. Books 1-3 each end on a cliffhanger and I am chomping at the bit for book four. Definitely recommend this series for any RH reader, and you don’t have to read the Havoc series first. Absolutely amazing series!

Isn’t Bohnes the most sweetest, disturbed, ghoul you’ve ever known?
Like, he’s genuinely fucked up, but none of that alpha bullshit the other fuckboys throw out. He bought her mausoleum safe house for gods sake. If that isn’t romance idk what is.

Another slow burner, a lot happens… but does it really? A nice thanksgiving dinner, some proposals, some death and destruction. Rage at the Kelly boy, can’t forget that.

I suppose the most unusual aspect of this book was the fuckboys saying a lot of the word ‘no’. Wow. Some of them (not Bohnes) treat her pretty poorly- looking at you Alexei and Widow. Surprisingly, not the Kelly boy. He was probably the least dickish (excluding Bohnes, because he’s just an all-round here-for-Scarlett-not-games nightmare).

Anyway, slaps all around for that shitty behaviour! I’d be like “off you fuck!” And wouldn’t that be a nice twist to a RH trope? Our FMC bins them all off and ends the series with Bohnes, or as a single AF queen. Alas, she gets rebuffed so many times by her RH that I actually feel bad for her. Can her self esteem really handle that?

Also, Widow, your hair lives rent free in my head. Like, the badass-ery, and then I see the cover art and realise that, no, it’s just not right.

Just pick Bohnes. Keep Alexei for his cleaning skills and money, but make him live in the closet under the stairs. Job done. Have a nice life.

This book ends on another cliff hanger and I’ll be damned if I give up now. Roll on book 4 and the conclusion!
