This book made me so excited to pick up Bambi! I definitely should have taken note to what was added at the beginning of the book where the author encouraged readers to read Bambi first, but I still LOVED the thanksgiving vibes!! It was giving messy and I loved every bit of it!! This author always knows how to make a book funny and this book didn’t disappoint!

It's Thanksgiving Day and the Carters are hosting so, you already know it’s gon’ be ratchet and ghetto with plenty of drama and shenanigans. Chiiiiiiile, this dinner did not disappoint. The tea was spilled and secrets were revealed. Everybody’s shyt was aired out and I was here for it. I sure hope Check had his inhaler when Tina dropped that not so little bomb on him because, he’s gon’ need it. Shayla and Tristen are still stressin’ me out. I just don’t understand why this author won’t let them be great. At this point, I’m over them and their foolery. King and Bambi are still happy and in love and those bad azz twins (both sets) are thriving. I’m so glad they finally got it right. Poor Henry Sr. He still hasn’t learned to stop tryin’ to come for King. But, he learned that day. See, he should’ve just sat there and ate his greens and cornbread. I love everything about this insanely funny azz family. The Carter Clan are a ridiculous and embarrassing tight knit bunch but, you gotta I love em’. They may be dysfunctional and toxic as hell but, they’re loyal and their love for one another is unmatched and you can’t be mad at that. Let me gather my patience and wine for all this drama I know Shayla and Tristen are about to bring.

If the drama ain’t coming through like this at thanksgiving dinner 🗣DONT INVITE ME!!! Baby I burned myself on the tea that was spilled during thanksgiving dinner! Henry was definitely on his best bs because he just couldn’t leave well enough alone!!! I’m glad Bambi finally saw her father for who he was! Spade was so chill! My kinda pimp 🤣

A Ratchet Thanksgiving and I loved it! Man this book was so damn funny and ghetto. The Carter’s came back with a vengeance and did not disappoint. Baybey everything was spilled, tea, secrets and more. I cannot wait for 2022 because I need fo see what Tree and Shayla got going on they stress me out 😭 really enjoyed this quick holiday read.

This book was so ghetto and funny. It easily won me over and I'm putting it at the top of my holiday book list. These characters appear in this author's Bambi series but you can enjoy it without reading the series. This book will definitely have you shuffling to get into the series.

The drama of it all
Annette's review of this book led me to the Carters and they did not disappoint. I swear I laughed my as$ off through all these books.
Bambi and King were going strong, avoiding the childish bs even when the past tried to creep up. Those double sets of twins were kicking their as$ and to think they weren't done, lawd they were better than me. It was Thanksgiving and Spade was hosting and to keep Bambi with low stress, King invited her parents over. He should've known Carl was gone act up. They didn't hesitate to pull out the dirt they had been holding on for years to put him in his place.
Tristen and Shayla, sigh what is the reason?? At this point I don't understand why he's like this. This jealous, insecure ish he is on is just not attractive at all. I don't even know why they are together. Uugh they are on my nerves.
So much was going on and nobody even got to eat the damn turkey. Instead drama ensued, tea was spilled, and feelings were hurt. Atp I don't even know if Shayla and Tristen need a story, I hope he mans up cuz he talking bout ain't no bitc# in his blood, well sir I can't tell.

Thanksgiving has never been so good!
Ladii Nesha did it again!! As if... when I say she blew it out the water!! The comedy was straight out the gate. A perfect mixture of family drama & the continuation of an unforgettable storyline! Everything was on point! To know the Carters is to know ain't nothing traditional! I look forward to staying on this journey with this amazing author! 💯🍾🥂

This family has some type of hold on me.. The Carter are definitely not your typical family.. You have ex-pimps and ex-hoes living in harmony!!😫😫King is definitely experiencing karma because he was definitely hell on wheel when he was a kid.
My boy Tristen can't caught a break and Shayla is driven to get her bag.

This series is a top fav for hilarity and family for me. Although Emotionally Scarred can be read as a standalone I’m adding it to this series review because it’s a family affair. Ladii Nesha provides pure comedy and realistic love in this romance series. Honestly, I loved every character, including Henry Sr/Carl by the end of this series. And she was cooking with crack to have me liking Spade at all.
SHAYLA. Hands down a fav FMC for me. Her and her taser. I was rooting so hard for Tristan and Shayla to get it together, but at one point I thought they would be better off without each other. Tristan may have gotten off a little too easy for me, but she loved that man.
Henny and Jessica was pure drama. Heck, this story had my heart in my throat then my stomach. I didn’t know if I was gonna make it, but this story was my favorite because we got to see Henny make it back from a huge mistake. The writing was so good that I was anxious for him, but grandma Reese came at the right time with the right words.
Shout out to Bianca and Aubrey. The definition of sisters from different misters.

I can't get enough of this dysfunctional, but loving family that always has sooooo much ish going on! I laughed so hard, I was sure I ruptured something, by the way my side is hurting! 😂 That damn tribe! OMG! Them kids are still toddlers and are already hell! 😂 Loved seeing all the growth in King, and how is taking care of his kids and loving on Bambi. Tristen! What the hell is wrong wit you man? Whew! I really missed the Carter's and glad to see all much growth in King. Tristen still needs to mature cause Shayla is right about not giving him babies to they are married. As usual when all the family gets together it goes down. I loved it and that ending was a mic dropper.

Talk about drama! The Carter family brings it whenever they get together. It was good to get updates on the various couples. Bambi and King got their hand full with their little ones. Tree and Shayla not seeing eye to eye. Kimmie and Check are still at it. Bambi’s dad really got on my nerves. Definitely a hilarious read. Can’t wait to read more about Tree and Shayla.

I loved the ending of this so much and the way he talked about his wife and kids. It was so cute and i enjoyed it so much. I also loved that we really got to see them as young adults blossom into maybe I’ll say more mature people and it was so cute. There’s unfinished business but this is my bus stop for now anyways. I had so much fun reading it.

2.5/5 - This story was a little too ratchet for me! Lol There were some funny parts but the kids cutting up and the cussing they were doing turned me off. And the way the men talked to their women and had no problem putting hands on them was wild!

It's Thanksgiving and the Carter Family decided to have one big dinner, which turned out to be one big ghetto mess! The liquor was flowing and the secrets were revealed. One things for certain and two things for sure …Thanksgiving will NEVER be the same!

Honestly, I’m over Tristen. He’s immature & insecure. This is the fourth book & this man has grown none. Check, King, & Spade have all matured. Tracking her, stalking her, sitting up waiting, blowing her phone up, it’s all ridiculous. I couldn’t do it.
Outside of his relationship with Shayla, he’s a funny, enjoyable character. Really, so is she. But together? They are incredibly unhealthy.
He has put his hands on her way too many times. Choking her out & slapping her. Enough is enough. That alone would have me done with him.
I never cared for the mushing that seems to be popular in urban romance books. What even is that & why do authors act as if that’s acceptable? Stop having these men & women putting their hands on each other!!!
I don’t blame that girl for having an abortion. He treated her like hell postpartum the first time & he honestly just wants to impregnate her to sit her down & control her.
Why help her go to school & give her money to start a business and then be mad that she’s hustling? He’s weird!!!
Plus he refuses to marry her. I can’t.
The only reason I’m even slightly interested in the next book is because of Tina’s bomb at the end. But I honestly plan on skimming the Tristan & Shayla drama bc I’m beyond over it.

Holiday’s with the Carter’s by Ladii Nesha is a entertaining, lovely and interesting story. Once again, Ladii Nesha did a good job. She brings more heats and entertaining for this series. It’s well written and it’s phenomenal page.
Bambi and her crews are entertaining, ghetto, drama and lovely. I can’t stop laughing from the each of the characters. They have their own personal problems but they bring the joyful, entertaining, and ghetto vibe to me. Shayla loves her taser but hopefully, someone takes the taser away from her because she always ended up hurting people with her taser..
I can’t wait to read Here We Go Again: Shayla and Tristen story.
