What happens when you bend over to pick up a lucky quarter but a stranger accidentally crashes into you instead?
Meet Thomas Klence and Eli Golden, aka, 'filthy rat' and 'rich snob', two polar opposites who meet by chance.
Their bike accident is the beginning of a new bond that unravels their deepest, darkest secrets, and Thomas and Eli slowly realize that despite their differences, they have one thing in common: they're bent and not straight.
I have really loved all of this authors work up until this. While I liked the friendship that was portrayed and I especially liked Thomas (He had a lot of potential) this book was severely lacking. Especially in the chemistry department. All those moments that made her other books so good were no where to be seen!! I also just don’t think I like their dynamic.
Eli is so so annoying but I mean he’s not THAT bad, I just can’t see myself loving him. Although I did not really stick around to see his character development at the end of the story (if he had any at all).
I definitely think there were important topics brought up in this book and it has a lot of start to become a deeper story but right now it just feels like a shallow kitty pool that has some bigger puddles.
Even though I did not enjoy this I will of course be reading another book of hers in the future. Especially because they are usually such quick, easy, and fun reads!!
an average book on wattpad disguised as a real one, never really delves deeper into its topics and character progression feels painfully uninspired and underdeveloped.
