This was my first ever reverse age gap story and WOW what an intro into this subgenre 🥵

I loved the dynamic between Kai and Penelope where she was naturally domineering, which he loved, but when it came to sex, HE was in charge. It was very intriguing to see how quickly roles reversed and how easily they fell into the different dynamics.

One thing Alex does so well is write these characters that are lowkey coo-coo looney bins but they’re SO GOSH DARN CHARMING that you don’t even care 😂 Kai was the perfect example and I can already tell he and Taylor will get along SWIMMINGLY.

Can’t wait for Camila’s story and am already dreading that we’re over halfway through this series!!

It started really good..
Despite the fact that i usually never like when the girl is older this time around i liked the idea of them because they had background with her being his babysitter .
I loved how possessive Kai was but at the same time if all he did in his life was to get to her why was he with others before? same problem i had in the last book but at least there, she never though she will ever meet that guy.
Then unfortunately along the way i lost interest,like in the last book in this series once they start being intimate the whole plot went flat.
I needed more built up , more intimacy , more fighting the attraction..
I needed more...that's it.
It had potential if the author played more with the plot.

Hands down an outstanding quick read! Although Penelope is mentioned in earlier books, her story is awesome, raw and realistic. Her past history is devastating but her will to go on, plus Kai devotion, is just amazing. Alex definitely out did herself. What’s better…this can be read as a complete standalone!!!!

Even though this one is a quick read yet it is a perfect absolutely scrumptious one. I can't believe I'm saying this as I'm biased to other characters that are more my favorite from this series, yet I feel Penelope and Kai's story is definitely going to be my top one from this series.

I felt this one had that perfect balance of everything as there was Romance, Sexy, Filthy times, drama, emotions and a bit of suspense making it an addictive read for sure.

Right from page 1, 😳😱 this was my expression as Kai is unapologetic about his want for Penelope and his persistence to be together was sure brash but also said how serious he was about her.

Kai interns at Penelope's firm and yet he doesn't care about what people has to say.

You see as right from when Penelope used to babysit Kai, he's had a crush on her and while everyone around him thought it was a silly crush but for Kai that crush kept on growing till it became an obsession, a need that he had to have her.

I have to say I didn't even realize when I was at epilogue. SEXY, SEXY & FREAKING HOT 🔥🌶️🥵🥵🥵 and there's drama and a bit of a twist that says how much Kai is obsessed with Penelope, Lady Boss is a freaking addictive read that is so HOT it'll sure have your temperature rising, have you hooked onto it with each turn of the page and will leave feeling amazing with wanting to have a lover as obsessed with you as Kai. (Though a little bit less crazy for sure😉)
Can't wait for the delicious slice of the next forbidden romance to come.

As we wind our way down through the characters we first met at the beginning of the itty bitty delights series, we have finally reached Penelope's story.

Penelope's story is that of being tempted by a younger man. Once upon a time Penelope babysat a young Kai, unknown to her he developed a massive crush on her. Kai made sure to study and get a job with Penelope as his crush never went away instead it became an obsession. As the story progress we get additional background information on the lives of Penelope, Wesley, Taylor, Harley and Camilla. I want to preface by saying that the information we learn can be triggering towards readers regarding child molestation.

Alex has taken a delicate and difficult subject but makes it work without convoluting the story and making it seem that it was thrown in their for the sake of adding drama to the story. We do get a HEA for Penelope and Kai. Now the preview we get for Camilla is one that I can't wait to see where that story goes.

Okay, I loved this! I love that it's reverse age gap but also the dynamics that change between Kai and Penelope. She is so relatable to me. She is the boss and has to be in charge at work and I loved that she let herself go and give Kai the reigns in the bedroom. This was exactly what I needed.

I LOVE KAI. A times, he seemed a little stockerish, but for the most part, I not only loved his tenacity, but the truth of his heart. I have absolutely loved Penelope in previous Itty Bitty Delights, but I love her even more in Lady Boss, because we see all the personalities of her. She's human after all. There are other parts of the story that I loved her take charge, I'll protect my family at all costs attitude, but to tell you why would be a spoiler. You must read for yourself! One click this story, NOW!

A Determined Younger Man makes for a riveting read....!

...and one that I absolutely LOVED!!!

I’ve read the older-woman-babysat-younger-man-when-a-child book plot only once before and for me it is still a classic favourite. Our young man Kai stood out in his dogged determination to get his woman, did cross the line into forbidden and morally grey, and that is what this Itty Bitty Delights novella series is all about, and as per usual, Author Alex Grayson worked her magic and I couldn’t help but love him for the longevity and robust workings of his plans that he’d put in place years before.

His drive was his total and absolute love for Penelope and this shone through not only in his hot and bold approaches to her, but the care and protection he clearly showed for her. Would I be happy with his behaviour in reality? Abso-freaking-lutely not!!! But romantically?? Ms Grayson totally nailed it! Kai left nothing to fate or chance – win big or go home, and by-hokey, he won big in spectacular fashion ❤️💣💥

Penelope’s personality was exactly as we’d been given glimpses into in the previous Itty Bitty Books, and the super-organised busy business woman left nothing to chance, so Kai knew his romantic ideas were going to be a hard sell. She did not cave easily, and I can safely say that any woman who wonders whether the older woman-younger man trope will be their type of read will appreciate Penelope’s stoic resistance, and it’s also easy to understand that Kai’s focussed actions were exactly the balm to her oft frazzled soul.

I have to admit that with the Adair quadruplets, Author Alex Grayson has hit her Itty Bitty Delights novellas out of the park!!! I love these ladies and their erotic tid-bits. LADY BONER, Taylor Adair’s book has been my favourite so far, closely followed by this book, Penelope Adair’s LADY BOSS and I truly believe that while I’ll struggle with the moral conundrum of Camille’s LADY BALLS, Ms Grayson will execute that forbidden romance perfectly. It’s one that is coming up next, and I know I’m looking forward to it.

If hot little naughty novellas are something that you want to inject into your reading life, then I unreservedly recommend this lot from Ms Grayson. It is fantastic!!!! All-the-hot-Stars! 🖤*

If you haven't read any of the books in the Itty Bitty Delights series then you are missing some of the best little novella's there are to read. I have loved every single one of them and Lady Boss is no exception. This is the story of Penelope and Kai. If you have read some of the other books then you have seen Penelope mentioned and now we have her story in our hands. Penelope is the boss lady, but she has this past that is absolutely going to break your heart. The most important things to her though are family first and then her career and she loves her career very much. But now she has an intern. A male intern and a smoking hot twelve years younger one at that. Kai is the child that she use to babysit when she was a teen and now he is here in her office and he is a super persistent, wants her with every fiber of his being and he is not going to apologize about it either. He has had a crush on her for as long as he can remember. People said it was a silly little crush but as time as gone by and those feelings have not gone away and only grown more into an obsession. He doesn't care what anyone has to say about it or the age difference between them. He just wants what he wants and he is going to get it. There is also some drama in Lady Boss and a twist that you don't see coming. It is the perfect book to read when you need to escape for a few hours. I loved reading this book and you guys will too.

Lady Boss is the 7th book in Alex’s Itty Bitty Delights Series. A series of easy to read, spice packed, and simply quite delicious reads. I recommend highly reading in order because books piggyback one another, not to mention, characters are also interconnected. This series has really made my evenings this past week extremely enjoyable. I started from the beginning and with each book fell even more in the love. I so enjoy a dirty talking alpha and Kai fits the bill. Penelope does try to resist because of their age gap and the fact that she is his boss. But, man of man is his mouth.

Penelope owns her own successful PR company. Kai is interning for her as a favor to his mom. Kai has an agenda- making Penelope his. He has never outgrown his crush on his former babysitter. Now he just needs to push past her resistance and watch her fire burn.

Although, this book is low angst, we get a deep look into Penelope’s family life as a child. It wasn’t all roses, but it built her into the bad ass boss babe she is today.

Red Flag

That is what the title of this book should have been, Red Flag, because that's all I saw while reading about Kai and Penelope. Ugh while he was super annoying, I did enjoy the rest of the story line in this addition to the Itty, Bitty Delights series.

We've met Penelope in previous books, she's one of the quads and this time the spotlight is on her. Mid-thirties, well established and not necessarily looking for a man, or a boy in this case. Kai is obsessed with Penelope and has been since she was his babysitter and let the creep meter go all the way to red.

Kai annoyed me from beginning to end. He was too pushy and didn't take no for an answer. Sure it was written all cute-sy, however that didn't fly with me. As I read, I pushed him further and further from my mind and focused on the supporting characters. There really was nothing redeeming about this guy in my eyes.

The book is well written and the blurb says it all. Former babysitter and babysit-ee getting together, so you can only imagine what is in store for them. While the story of Kai and Penelope didn't tickle my fancy much, I loved how previous characters were front and center in their story. These Itty Bitty books can be read as standalones, but are much more interesting when read within the series.

Here we go again with another Adair sister and boy is she one that is going to be hard to come to the dark side so to speak. For years young Kai has been in love with Penelope and now he is near her every day. Working with her is no problem but convincing her about his feelings are real because there is a problem well according to her, he's way to young. Now I love the trope age gap stories and boy does Alex Grayson show us Kai is one determined guy when it comes to his woman. Penelope was a hard nut to break but man once she gets some of that loving it is explosive. Seeing them working with each other and Kai taking the reins in their relationship just shows how Alpha this young man is in his own way. Loved seeing Penelope go all serious then with a little bit of his love and kisses we see her melting. Nice addition to this series and seeing Penelope fall for the first time was nice. One more book in this series and cannot wait to see who is next by Alex Grayson.

The Itty-Bitty Delights series is one of my favourites! Sometimes you just need a taboo subject to get away from all those sugar-coated romances that are out there. That said, Lady Boss was a super sweet book, but not so much that it was too much.

We have met Penelope in other books in the Itty-Bitty Delights series. I love that although these stories are novellas and can be read as standalones, if you choose to read the whole series there are intertwined characters, so you feel like you know them as you go through the books.

Penelope was Kai's babysitter. We have heard of this trope before and for me I usually roll my eyes and move on without reading, but Lady Boss wasn't like that. I loved the characters, the love and persistence from Kai. The characters are likeable, the story is well written and it adds perfectly to the Itty-Bitty Delights overall story!

Highly recommend reading Lady Boss! Ah Heck, I recommend reading the whole Itty-Bitty Delights series! You won't regret it!!

Penelope Adair is the control freak of a set of quadruplets, owner of a successful PR agency and no-nonsense top boss. She wants a family at some point in her life, but work and her siblings’ welfare have been her top priority for the longest time.
Kai Deluca is the young intern that is shaking Penelope’s world. A man now, in her mind’s eye, he’s still that little boy she started babysitting when she was 16 and the new feelings the guy is pushing to the front are somewhat disturbing her perfectly crafted world.
This story is fun and sexy, but I have to admit I thought Kai borderline insane due to some of his antics. Of course, I ended up finding him a great match for stubborn Penelope, but his plan to achieve his goal scared me at first.
Nonetheless, I enjoyed the story, their coming together and ended up rooting for the HEA they deserved.

Lady Boss was one for the record books. As per usual, I was hooked because the writing was done so well. A May-December romance that is always an excellent sub-genre. Alex Grayson has the uncanny ability to turn any situation into one that you want to learn more about. You just have to know what happens in the end and why. In this particular instance, I needed to know what would prompt Kai to do what he did to Penelope. The betrayal and sheer nerve to act as though what he did was remotely okay had me yelling at my kindle and my husband looking at me as if I were crazy.

It all worked out in the end, but I’ll tell you what…I would have had Kai’s throat in my hands. I don’t know that there would be the ability of forgiveness from me.

I’m excited for the next installment in the Itty Bitty Delights series which is Lady Balls, coming July 21st!

This series has been my guilty pleasure, Ms. Grayson. Trust me you will feel the same way once you start this series.

I have been curious about Penelope's book since the beginning and the wait was worth it. Penelope is a strong independent boss lady and you feel that through the entire book. Not only is work driven she is fiercely loyal to her friends and family. You add in Kai and her thinking gets scrambled all while questioning things. Kai had one thing in mind and went to great lengths to get what he wanted, Penelope. Toss in some taboo and you have a pretty sexy story. You can't go wrong with this quick read. I love how Ms. Grayson tossed in some of the other side characters from previous books. I will be sad when this series ends.

It may be a short story but it sure lacks for nothing!
I absolutely adored Penelope.
Her morals and standards made life sometimes difficult for her.
Depriving her of want she really wants because of what society would say.
Her heart and her conscience were at war with each other.
And omg Kai who would have thought he was that determined and down for playing dirty!
He was totally obsessed. And let me tell you it was freaking hot!
I loved their chemistry.
The passion and lust between the is off the charts sizzling hot!
Along with them butting heads and their spiciness, there is some family drama that added suspense to the story.

I love a reverse age gap and Lady Boss did wonderful at it. Our heroine, Penelope, is 12 years older than Kai and used to be his babysitter when she was in high school. He’s now graduated college and worked as her intern—so there’s extra taboo. Boss/employee and age gap. Give all the taboo to me. ALL OF IT.

Kai was so obsessed with Penelope, in a way I’m both impressed with and horrified by. He’s not going to let *literally* anything get in the way of them being together, and I just gotta love someone so invested in the relationship.

Sexy, hot, with good character development and backstory, Lady Boss was another new favorite from this series.

I could not put this book down. This book sucked me in from the very beginning. Penelope is hard-working, owning her own business and she has always put her family first. Kai is Penelope's intern, but she was also his babysitter when he was younger and he has had a crush on her for a really long time. Now that he is an adult, he is making his intentions known and going after what he wants, no holds barred.

I really liked Penelope and Kai as the main characters and enjoyed their story. I liked how Kai knew what he wanted and wasn't afraid to go after it. I think some of his methods were definitely questionable but he appeared to really genuinely care for Penelope. I did really like them together and think they were good for each other on the whole. Looking forward to see what this author brings us next with this series.

There isn't a whole lot that Alex could write that I wouldn't love. I love a great Taboo story. Reverse age gap? Sign me up. I've read and loved many super messed up stories that she's written and loved them all. This one is the first that gave me pause. It could very well be that the current climate in current events made it hard for me to swallow some of the actions of Kai. I usually end up liking a despicable character eventually but I didn't find anything likeable about Kai. I love Penelope so much and looked forward to the babysitter angle but this wasn't amazing for me this time. 3.5 stars

This one was naughty….sweet, sexy, hot and naughty!! Tsk-tsk….lol! Penelope is the good sibling. Taking care of business as well as looking out for her three sisters and her brother. She doesn’t have time for a relationship…..or does she? Kai has loved Penelope since she babysit him years ago. Once he gets a chance to have her, he won’t let go. But when he finds out she has a secret and one that could hurt her? He will do anything to protect her. Short, hot as Hades, and a HEA! Loved it!!

THIS BOOK WAS HOT!!
I was a huge fan of the reverse age gap between Penelope and Kai.
Also how Kai had a crush on her since he was little I find that so cute.

Alex Grayson's writing is fabulous. Their story was so interesting but also due check TW Penelope talks about her past and it could be triggering for you.
However I wasn't a fan of what Kai did. I found it to be so naive but also such a red flag but apart from that it was an amazing read.

I absolutely loved this one! This is definitely my favourite out of the series. All because of Kai! My wonderful Kai. Can I just say he's one of those perfect book boyfriends? Because he is absolutely one. The fact that he is very determined to be with Penelope once he grew up is chef's kiss. I couldn't admire his determination more. I know I only loved what he does because it's fiction, but still, I couldn't help and swoon over the two of them. And Penelope definitely needed someone like him to take over at times, outside of the office.

Lady Boss by Alex Grayson is book Seven in the Itty Bitty Delights Series. This is the story of Penelope Adair and Kai Deluca. I have read the previous book which did add to my enjoyment of this one. Penelope runs a PR business but before she went to college she used to babysit Kai. Kai even as young as he was always had a crush on Penelope but now in their present day he crush has become a love / obsession. Penelope is about 12 years older than Kai and a friend to his mother. Enjoyed their story.

Lady Boss is a steamy hot, age gap story that will light the pages of your book on fire.
Penelope used to babysit Kai and it appears that his crush on her never waned. Now he is determined to show her that they were always meant to be. His methods maybe a bit over the top but once he starts breaking down her walls, it is clear that age is just a number, their chemistry is off the charts and their feelings are so strong, how can they not move forward and fulfill their destiny.

He is twelve years younger than she is and she used to babysit him. His methods were a little heavy handed at times but no one can doubt his sincerity. Can't wait for more!
