A Real Cowboy Always Comes Home by Stephanie Rowe
Book 10, final book of the Wyoming Rebels series. Contemporary western romance. Best read as part of the series but can stand as a romance by itself. Brothers from the prior books appear in this conclusion.
Caleb, the last missing brother of the nine (plus one sister) is finally home though he doesn’t remember his family or even his life. Chase doesn’t know who is chasing him and baby Zack but he is determined to keep everyone safe.

Emotional and heartwarming. All 10 books have caused tears of emotions and this final one ties them all up in weddings, babies and family.

“They were meant to be his. He was meant to be theirs. He just knew it, deep in his gut.”

A Real Cowboy Always Comes Home is the second novel I read written by Stephanie Rowe, but it's the first of the Wyoming Rebels series. I assure you it can be read as a standalone, but the curiosity to know more about the other characters that appear here is really great.

This was an excellent read. I've adored the build up and the suspensful atmosphere, and even if I felt like the solution of the mystery a little rushed, I still enjoyed the ending.

Caleb wakes up in the aftermath of an explosion, he doesn't remember anything of his life, a man entrusts him with a baby, so it begins their journey towards safety. While they are on the run they meet Jenna and her teen daughter who try to help Caleb and the child to find the truth about their unknown and dangerous predicament.

Caleb is really a great man, you can feel his kindness and the desperation of not knowing who he is. I like how Jenna sparks some of his most sweet memories. Jenna is a very strong woman, her love for her daughter is so deep she tries to shield her from hurting.
They are not in the best place to start a relationship but their attraction and affection for each other is too deep to ignore.

I deeply recommend this book.
I'll try to read every book in the series as soon as possible because this author writes some intriguing cowboy romance with a good storyline. This was the second time I was in the mood of a cowboy story in the last months and I chose her without hesitation.

A REAL COWBOY ALWAYS COMES HOME is the tenth and final instalment in Stephanie Rowe’s contemporary, adult WYOMING REBELS romance series focusing on the Stockton siblings. This is twenty-seven year old Caleb Stockton and thirty-five year old single mother Jenna Ward’s story line. A REAL COWBOY can be read as a stand alone but for back story and cohesion I recommend reading the series in order.

Told from third person perspective A REAL COWBOY ALWAYS COMES HOME follows Caleb Stockton in the wake of an explosion and fire that has left our hero without any memory of who, how or why but for a young baby placed in arms as the world around him spiralled out of control. Having no idea as to what happened, Caleb ran, hiding in out of the way places, until arriving at a small cabin where he will meet and fall in love with single mother Jenna Ward, a woman whose own life has stalled without moving forward. When the local sheriff Dane Wilson ( A Real Cowboy for Christmas), begins an investigation into the discovery of two vehicles on the side of the road, does Caleb’s life begin to take shape and order. What ensues is the building romance and relationship between Caleb and Jenna, and the potential fall-out as the past returns hoping to finish the job.

Jenna Ward is a widow; a single mother with a thirteen year old daughter who will quickly fall in love with the stranger in her cabin but Caleb has amnesia; doesn’t remember what happened or why, and with it comes the probability that someone is on the hunt for our hero and the baby he has been tasked for survival. Caleb’s life imploded at fourteen years of age, and by the time he turned seventeen Caleb ran from his family in an effort to survive but ten years would pass, and Caleb’s family has never stopped looking until a stranger gives shelter to their missing sibling.

The relationship between Caleb and Jenna is one of immediate attraction but Caleb’s amnesia is a threat to Jenna and her daughter, having no idea about what happened or why. Caleb suspects someones is trying to kill him and the baby, but without his memories, Caleb will be spending his life on the run. Jenna Ward and her daughter Gracie have been alone for close to two years but Jenna never thought she would meet her future in the guise of a stranger, a stranger with a baby he knows nothing about. From the outset, Jenna’s thirteen year old daughter Gracie sees Caleb as a promise for the future, a future that may be spent on the run. The $ex scenes are intimate and passionate without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.

There is a large ensemble cast of secondary and supporting characters including several of Caleb’s siblings (Chase, Steen, Zane, Travis, Logan, Quintin) and their significant others as well as Brody Hart and Dane Wilson, as well as the introduced of Jenna’s daughter Gracie.

A REAL COWBOY ALWAYS COME FIRST is a story of family, friendships, relationships and love; betrayal and vengeance, hope and loss. The premise is captivating; the romance is impassioned; the characters are charismatic and charming. My only problem is the quick resolution /revelation about the fire and explosion; the author barely alludes to the build up ,and the horrific past of the Stockton siblings is glossed over although fans and readers of the Wyoming Rebels will be well aware of what happened and why- I think an author should always include some background information as new readers may be at a loss as to what is happening and why. The WYOMING REBELS is a wonderful, heart breaking, emotional and satisfying series.

This one is bittersweet. It's the last of the Wyoming Rebels series with a bit of the Harts added in. But not to worry, there are nine other books in the series to keep you busy for a while if this is your first introduction to these amazing cowboys and the strong women who stand beside them.

Caleb awakes after an explosion with a wound in his side and his memory gone. A man thrusts a baby into his arms, telling him to keep tiny Zach safe. He finds his way to a deserted cabin to hole up for a few days, nurse his wounds, and make a plan.

Jenna and her daughter, Gracie, are badly in need of a vacation and some mother-daughter bonding time. Her grandmother's cabin in the Oregon mountains with no cell service and no interruptions is the perfect getaway. Until she and her thirteen-year-old daughter arrive to find their cabin occupied.

Nobody does cowboys quite like Rowe does, and each new story just makes we want more! This romance has so many elements I love – overcoming hardship, building something from nothing, triumph over tragedy, learning to trust your intuition, found family, and all-powerful love, to name a few. There's enough danger and suspense to keep me on the edge if my seat, furiously turning pages to find out what happens, but there’s so much deep, profound emotion that I wanted to luxuriate in it forever as it strengthened my spirit and made my heart ecstatically happy.

Cowboy-trope fan or not, this is one you won’t want to pass up. With an admirably strong, determined heroine, a thirteen-going-on-thirty, opinionated but wise teenager, and a broken hero with a heart as soft as cotton but as big as the Rockies, these characters will abscond with your heart and you’ll love every second you spend with them!

As seen on my blog (Jessie's Reading Corner):
DISCLAIMER: I voluntarily read and reviewed an advance copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

A Real Cowboy Always Comes Home is the final book in the Stockton family saga known as the Wyoming Rebels. This is Caleb’s story, and boy was it an adventure! (I’m telling you now, if you read this, you better buckle up and prepare for a wild ride!)

Ten years ago, Caleb Stockton walked out on his family and never looked back; none of his siblings have heard from him. What has he been up to? Where has he been? Did they do something that caused Caleb to leave?

Stephanie throws you right in the middle of the action with this book. Caleb is injured, his memory’s gone, and someone has tasked him with protecting his baby boy. Not only are the readers trying to figure out who is after Caleb, but so is Caleb! He meets our heroine Jenna, a single mother, and her daughter Gracie when he finds a remote cabin in the woods to recharge and heal.

That’s as much spoiling I will do in this review. To find out what happens next, you need to read the book! I will tell you that this book was simply amazing! Stephanie crafted a beautiful, heart-pounding conclusion to the Stockton series.

I loved Caleb and Jenna! I loved how they fell for each other. I loved how natural the progression of their relationship felt. I loved how Caleb was willing to risk his own happiness, to protect Jenna and Gracie. I loved how Jenna trusted her instincts about Caleb.

I also really loved the Stockton/Hart family in this. I loved how they responded when they found out that Caleb made his way back home and had his back, even when he couldn’t tell them why he left all those years ago. The last action scene in this book…man, it felt like I was watching an action movie! Want to know what I’m talking about? Read the book! 😉

If you enjoy passionate cowboy romances and heart-pounding romantic suspense, I highly recommend you read this book! Yes, this is the last book in the series but you do not need to read the other books in the series to understand this one. They’re all interconnected standalones and Stephanie does a pretty good job of filling you in on things you need to know, without giving away too much information. I do recommend that you read the series at some point though because the Stockton family is pretty amazing, despite all the stuff they went through.

I’m also pretty sure that while this is the last book in the Wyoming Rebels series, we won’t be seeing the last of the Stocktons as Stephanie has another series set in this world featuring the Hart family! (Series is called Hart Ranch Billionaires and the first book released in September 2021 called A Rogue Cowboy’s Second Chance.)

Thank you Stephanie for the opportunity to read and review this as an ARC!

Caleb Stockton has been the missing piece of his family for 10 years. His brothers have all but given up hope of seeing him again, yet as we start A Real Cowboy Always Comes Home by Stephanie Rowe, Caleb has no memory of who he is, or who (and why) he was given a baby to protect.

He runs into a single mom and her teenage daughter while protecting the baby and healing his own wounds from an explosion. Problem is, he can’t remember why the house exploded or who was responsible. Only that he will protect Zach, and now Jenna and Grace with his life. While the connection between Caleb and Jenna happens quickly, it is definitely swoon worthy. I’ve been waiting for Caleb’s story for a long time and enjoyed watching him find not only his memories, but is well deserved HEA. Jenna is feisty with a side of badass, that makes her perfect for Caleb. The innocence and hopefulness of Gracie seal the package for Caleb and had me melting for them.

I’ve loved the Stockton brothers and the Wyoming Rebels series from page one of the first book, A Real Cowboy Never Says No, to the last page of this book. It is an excellent series full of damaged yet supportive men and the women who fiercely love them. Read Caleb’s story, real the entire series. This has been my voluntary review.

I have been waiting so long for this last book I the Wyoming Rebels series, to finally meet Caleb, have the Stockton family back together again. I would also like to say that I have been dreading it just as much because I don’t want this series to end. It has been a great series from start to finish, one I will reread many times I’m sure.
Caleb has amnesia, but he doesn’t let it stop him from trusting his heart. He doesn’t know who he was or what he did, but he knows who he wants to be. He may not remember his brothers but he knows they are family. Jenna and Gracie are loving and trusting souls who have been left behind. They won’t let their heartbreak stop them from convincing Caleb that he is a part of their family. I love that this book was full of loss, action, questions, uncertainty, but also heart, family, trust, laughter, and a sense of belonging that everyone deserves. I highly recommend “a Real Cowboy Always Comes Home” and the rest of the series. *I was given an ARC of this book, but voluntarily left my review.

This is the final instalment Wyoming Rebels series and what an ending it is! This is the story of Caleb , Chase Stockton has been determined to get all his siblings back together at the ranch so they can final heal from their brutal , abusive child hoods but as time goes by he fears they will never be complete , despite hiring P I Dylan Hart he still is unable to locate his last brother who has been gone 10 years.
Caleb comes to after the house he was in blows up just as he is trying to remember what happened a man he doesn’t recognise but who clearly knows and trust him gives him a baby and tells him to protect him and raise him if he doesn’t return with his wife before Caleb can grasp what's happening the man is gone leaving him with the baby Zach and no memory until a few moments ago , he is badly injured but instinct kicks in and he know he has to leave, with little more that the cloths on his back he manages to hot wire a vehicle and move, after changing trucks a couple of time he finds himself in and old cabin in the middle of nowhere but the area somehow feels familiar. He finally succumbs to his injuries as passes out .
After the loss of her husband a couple of years ago Jenna has decided to take daughter Gracie to her grandmothers cabin for some much needed bonding time, when they are nearly at the cabin Jenna brakes hard to avoid a dog and ends up in a ditch in the middle of a storm after walking to mile or so to the cabin in the rain they are shocked to find a passed out man on their couch with a baby. I won't give any more away but in true Stephanie style things get complicated and dangerous but never underestimate the Stockton clan this is a wonderful end to the series and has you cheering and reaching for the tissues at the same time, as the family that are now able to heal, but I am sure we will have sneaky peaks into the Stockton family in the future in the Hart books , another triumph.

Fantastic! This book was wonderful. The perfect ending to one of the best series. Caleb is fantastic. A true Stockton all the way. I couldn’t wait for this book. The longing for the lost brother but I’m getting it. It brings the end to one of my favorite series. This was a perfect ending. I will be rereading this series.

The best story to end this great series

This story starts off right after an actual bang, takes off running and holds you wonderfully captive for an emotionally exciting ride. The storyline was so engaging and well written that I could not put the book down. It is full of all the big feeling inducing well crafted words - when the action lets up, then emotions spiraled up, then the mystery kicked in. Phew. Strap in. It is a masterpiece cleverly disguised as a simple cowboy romance. Caleb Stockton wakes up injured at the location of an explosion, a man hands him a baby named Zach, and tells him to run. But Caleb cannot remember who the man or baby are or even who he is. Nonetheless, he takes Zach and runs using skills he apparently has but does not know why he has them. He stops running at an isolated, seemingly abandoned cabin to rest. Meanwhile Jenna and her teenaged daughter Gracie are traveling to Jenna’s grandmother’s cabin for a week’s vacation. They arrive in their cabin to discover a hurt, shirtless passed out Caleb with Zach sleeping on his chest. Thus begins the fast paced, dangerous, but swoony journey to find forever as a knit-together family. There’s a lot for Caleb, Jenna and Gracie to unpack to get there and to be reunited with the family Caleb left a decade ago but it’s a beautiful journey. The book has a little bit of everything just like you would expect from this series - sweet moments, strong family bonds, sexy times, real life issues, imperfect characters, dangerous moments, mystery, uber protective men, painful pasts, and so much love. All the books in this series have a central theme of family - those we are born into and those we create. The Stockton family loves hard and they love by surrounding you with goodness and strength. “This was what family was to them. All in. Always. No matter what.” This is book 10 in this series and it’s a standalone so you can enjoy it without reading the other books, but do yourself a favor and read all the books in the series, you’ll love them all. While I am sad that we’ve come to the end of the Stockton siblings, I am glad that they’ll continue as secondary characters with the Hart Ranch Billionaires series.

I Don’t Know Why I Waited So Long to Read Stephanie Rowe’s Stories!
I truly have no idea why I’d never tried Stephanie Rowe’s books much sooner! Small-town contemporary romances with some suspense, sexy cowboys, and the bada$$ beautiful heroines who tame them are seriously my jam! I had the opportunity to read a holiday story from the Wyoming Rebels series last Christmas, and now I am HOOKED! I’m reading all the earlier stories and waiting patiently for the Hart family stories to come out as well. By far, my favorite in the entire lineup is Book 10, “A Real Cowboy Always Comes Home.” Caleb Stockton is the long-lost brother that the family has been searching for over the last decade, and a recent injury has left him without a clue as to who he is. The only thing he’s certain of is his growing feelings for a single mom and her feisty daughter. Independent and beautiful widow and private investigator Jenna Ward is used to handling everything on her own. She is naturally protective, and she is a WARRIOR! So much emotion in this story that I was absolutely gripped by it. I couldn’t put it down if I wanted to. The chemistry is immediate and almost tangible, and their sexy moments are so sensual and loving. The suspense, and the family dynamic add such amazing elements to the story! I cannot wait to read more of this series, as well as the Hart family series since I’m completely over the moon for Brody and so many of the other side characters! All the stars here!

What a way to end a series. Caleb finally comes back to his siblings ...with lots of drama following him. This family does not do easy returns.

Caleb wakes up to a baby being thrust at him in the midst of what looks like the aftermath of an explosion. He can't remember anything from before the explosion but he knows this baby and will do anything to protect him. He seems to have some above-average survival skills but he can't decide if he's a good guy or not. But as badly injured as he is he kinda gets away on autopilot and finds himself in an uninhabited cabin near to the Hart's Ranch.

Jenna and her daughter are coming to her grandmother's cabin for some badly needed girl bonding. After the death of her husband Jenna took on his PI business but that meant staying away from her daughter for long periods of time - something she swore she'd never do. Finding a lost dog is nothing on opening the cabin and finding a sleeping man and baby!

There is an immediate spark between them but Caleb's amnesia is holding him back - he has no idea what he did to have people after him and a defenceless baby. But he is recognised by Brody Hart and a big family reunion in on the cards!

Insta-attraction, forced proximity, babies, abandoned dogs, mystery and danger all wrapped up in one amazing package. Was the romance quick off the mark? Sure, but many romances advance a warp speed when the adrenaline is pumping. Caleb is the perfect mix of nurturer and protector. Jenna is no slouch and is perfectly capable of protecting herself, her daughter and anyone else.

The family's reaction to Caleb and his predicament was typical Stockton and there is certainly plenty of action. Sad to see the series end but so happy that all the siblings are now reunited.

It’s been a decade since Caleb has seen his siblings despite all their efforts to reunite with him. After an explosion that left him with no memory and a baby that he finds himself on the run with that reunion is appearing more unlikely until Jenna and her daughter Gracie come into his life.

The last few years have been difficult for Jenna and her daughter Gracie after her husband passed away so a getaway to her family’s cabin is exactly what they need. She never expected that the cabin would be occupied or the danger and secrets that would be revealed.

Although it may not have been under ideal circumstances Caleb and Jenna are about to realize that sometimes the most important people come into your life when you least expect it. Caleb is determined to protect Jenna and Grace even if that means from himself, but he may just realize that he has a much bigger support system than he could ever have imagined.

I wasn’t sure how I would like this book as I normally do not enjoy amnesia or memory loss themes but I thoroughly enjoyed this book!

Even though this is the final book in the series, you do not need to have read the other ones to follow along and enjoy it. The suspense, loyalty, determination, and passion provide the perfect blend to make this a page-turning book that is hard to put down.

I will definitely be going back and reading the previous books!

Caleb Stockton has been missing for more than ten years...and he's about to come home.

But his homecoming isn't going to be what anyone expects.

Not his brothers.

Not him.

And definitely not her.

Wow! Loved Caleb & Jenna's story. Their journey was not an easy one, but was so worth it. With Caleb's amnesia it was quite the journey to discover who he was. This book had all the feels in the best possible way! There were a few twists in this story I didn't see coming! Loved every page!

Wow!

I could not wait for this book to come out. I mean you kept hearing about Caleb throughout the whole series so once it came I knew I would devour it. I really did. I mean sleep, who needs it. But seriously, Stephanie Rowe did not disappoint with this one.

This book hits the ground running from page one. It was like whoa wait what just happened and had me glued right away. Be prepared for it to start with a bang.

Caleb. I love him. I had a feeling that I would. I mean I would say you save the best for last, but I love all the Stockton and Hart men, so that’s not exactly the case here 😊 but the anticipation building up to read about this elusive brother was insane.

Caleb has such a hard uphill battle to fight but at the core you really know he’s a Stockton through and through. Everything he does and how he acts shines through no matter what is going on around him.

Then you have sweet Jenna and Gracie. This mum and kid duo are awesome. I love their dynamic. Don’t get me wrong what they’ve gone through is rough. But seeing them heal and how they grow together is really sweet and funny at moments.

Now throw everyone together and add some small additions (hehe read and you’ll get the reference) and you have some great interactions, heart warming moments and of course there is romance and some serious chemistry between Caleb and Jenna.

Naturally, danger is around the corner for this unit and Caleb ends up going home. It’s not what you expect at all, I cried. There are so many emotions coming from everyone involved. It’s worth the tears.

I really loved seeing everyone from the beginning of the series come together in this book. You worry for a minute that it will be overwhelming since there are so many siblings, their spouses, and some kids, but it was perfect. The balance was amazing.

I HIGHLY recommend this book. It was such a crazy ride but I really loved it. I read it in one go and will probably read it again because it is that good. The action, humor, suspense and romance are perfect in this book.

I received an ARC and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

Now this book has been a roller coaster! I read this before going on vacation and I can still think about it as fresh as I read it.

ARC!
The book follows Caleb, a beautiful guardian of a cute baby (I’m not even a fan of babies!) , who lost his memory and doesn’t even know where he is supposed to be. He just knows he needs to protect Zach and live.
We also have Jenna and Gracie, a mother/daughter duo who are going on a vacation but they encountered more adventure than they bargained for.
They both get to the same cabin, and realize that they must cohabit in the same place until Caleb get strong enough to gather his stuff and leave.

Honestly it’s pretty refreshing reading this. We have a badass FMC, who doesn’t really have any fear , and an even stronger MMC, that not only wants to protect his new found family but respects her FMC.
They both develop a very cute relationship, even with their kids around!
I do recommend this book as it’s short, simple and very good for an afternoon read with nicely placed dangers , and plot twists.

Tropes: forced proximity, single parents, badass FMC, heroine/hero in danger, alpha male.

The last Stockton sibling comes home, but there's a catch...Caleb's story is the last in the Wyoming Rebels series, and it did not disappoint! Caleb, seemingly involved in an explosion, comes too, unaware of who he is or who the man is handing him his baby boy and asking Caleb to keep him safe. Caleb, though injured, finds an uninhabited cabin to hide himself and baby Zach in for a few days to heal up and try to figure out what is going on. Jenna and her teenage daughter Gracie, at her mother's insistence, decide to take a much needed getaway to the families cabin. No interruptions or cell service sounds like just what they need to mend some of the distance between the two after losing Gracie's private investigator dad (Jenna's husband) 2 years prior. As you can imagine they get quite the surprise once they arrive. Realizing Caleb isn't a threat, and that him and Zach need their help, Jenna and Gracie jump in head first to do what they can to help Caleb remember who is really is and who might be after them. A chance encounter with a long time friend who happens to figure out that Caleb not only is hiding there, but that he knows who Caleb really is, leads to a homecoming no one was prepared for. Even though Caleb had no memory of his past, he definitely carried all the Stockton traits through and through. Just like the previous books, family is the most important to the Stocktan's, and they don't hesitate to help protect not only Caleb, but Jenna and Gracie too! Once you find out Caleb's reasons for leaving all those years ago, it all comes together and made me love him even more. The chemistry between Jenna and Caleb was one of my favorites of the series, and I really loved Jenna's wit. Although I am a little sad there are no more books in this series to come, I definitely will not hesitate to visit again with a re-read.

I love this book soooo much! Suspenseful, romantic and more than a little fun, A Real Cowboy Always Comes Home brings everything a reader might be looking for and more. This culmination of a great romantic series, often laced with suspense, can be read as a standalone, but any reader who hasn’t read the earlier books is sure to be drawn to discover the wonderful stories behind the rest of the family. Stephanie Rowe, who has held us in thrall since the first book, knows how to end a wonderful series. For those who have long loved the Stockton family, Caleb’s time has arrived!
All he knows is that there was an explosion, his name is Caleb, he has a baby to protect, he is injured, and danger may be on his heels. When he finds a deserted cabin after days of running, it seems like the perfect place to rest and heal, until that is, he wakes up to see that beautiful woman and a teenaged girl have arrived. Oh, and he has discovered that he knows how to steal a car or pickup.
In the two years since her private investigator dad was killed, Grace has begun to feel that she has lost both parents, so she and her mother Jenna are on a girl’s vacation to try to recapture the relationship that Jenna’s long hours and work-related trips have sabotaged. They weren’t planning on that vacation to her grandmother’s cabin to include a dog, an injured man, a baby, and danger, but those two females are more than capable of handling a few surprises with style, humor and courage.
The fun interchanges made getting to know this group and watching the story unfold a delight even as the danger moved in.

"They Found Us! Take Zach! Go!

Caleb wakes to these words being spoken. Barely conscious, and suffering from a concussion, Caleb takes off with the infant Zach, running for their lives with no memory of who he is. But he knows the man called him Caleb, the baby seems to know him, and as they travel to safety, he realizes he has skills. Skills to protect or to kill if necessary. As he steals vehicles to get them out of the city, Caleb begins to relax as he sees farmland, horses, and cows as he seeks shelter near the Hart Ranch.

Jennie, and Gracie Ward are headed to the family cabin near the Hart Ranch for mother/daughter time. They discover Caleb, and little Zach asleep on his chest. Caleb wakes and explains his situation to the mother, and daughter, and they feel that he's telling the truth, and Caleb hires Jennie to find out who he is.

Brody Hart arrives at the cabin with supplies, and recognizes Caleb Stockton, and explains things to Caleb, and how he'd be safer with his brothers. As Jennie, decides to travel with Caleb to the Stockton Ranch, we see 3 lonely, and grieving souls slowly become a family. But before they have a chance to see where the relationship will go, bodies are left on the cabin steps, and Caleb realizes that he's being hunted, and he doesn't know why?

Yeehaw! This cowboy is delicious even if he doesn’t know who he is at the beginning. Yep, our cowboy has amnesia and only knows he has a thing for horses and the wide open skies. He does know that he has super skills, the military/black ops type and he has a connection to the baby he doesn’t really know either. Caleb is on the run to keep the little boy safe when he runs into single mom Jenna and her teen daughter Gracie. Lots to unpack with this group. I love that Jenna is a fierce woman with her PI skills and a business from her deceased husband. Even though the circumstances are suspect Jenna decides to help the man that’s hurt and the cute baby. It’s the neighbor that comes to the rescue when he recognizes Caleb. That’s when the excitement begins as Caleb is reunited with his family, the sexy chemistry between Caleb and Jenna turns heated, and the enemies come after the baby and Caleb. The connection between Caleb and Jenna was a little insta for me but turned into a sweet and sexy romance as the story advanced. I loved that Caleb found his way home and has the love and support of his family. The superstar of the story was the smart teen Gracie. Loved her. This is a fabulous story with loads of mystery, intrigue, danger and a sexy romance. Terrific characters all the way around. Worth the read!

Another great addition to the Stockton / Hart family romance series. The much awaited return of Caleb, the long absent brother and much missed. This book throws you right into the action setting up the arc of the story, Caleb's memory loss and the piecing together of his story that has resulted in him caring for a baby and running from an unknown threat.

The adorable happenstance that brings Caleb together with Jenna is tense, exciting and romance perfection. I loved the whole mystery of Caleb and his lost memory and the coming together of the Harts/Stocktons to help reunite and protect him and his new found family (complete with stray dog).

There are some heartwarming themes of forgiveness, family bonds, acceptance and healing. Jenna is on a real journey of finding who she is post losing her husband and in rebuilding who she is in a relationship and as a Mum. Her flutterings of attraction to Caleb reawaken a side she thought long dormant and I loved the intense attraction. Most of all I just loved how brilliantly written she was. She was quirky, funny and spoke her mind. I loved her sassiness and confidence.

This was an all round heartwarming romance filled with heat, family and rescuing of lost souls.

3.5*s

Rowe brings a story that balances suspense, danger, and emotion. WIth Caleb not being able to remember anything about his life before he wakes up hurt and surrounded by rubble, he’s running on pure instinct. It also allows him the opportunity to embrace the man he is at heart and not just who time and circumstance has turned him into. WIth the help of Jenna and her spunky daughter Gracie, Caleb has to work fast to figure out who he is and why someone wants him dead.

Overall I enjoyed this book (although there may be a bit too much of instalove for some), and it can definitely be read on its own, but I think that it would have even more of an impact for someone who has read the series. It seems that each of the Stockton’s has had to fight to let go of their childhood and find their way back again. With Caleb being the last to return, there is probably a lot more feels for someone who has been there every story. I’m not saying not to give it a shot, but maybe start at the beginning – if the rest of the books are anything like this one, you should be set on reading materials for a while :)

(I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.)

The lost brother has come home, yet only if he can remember his family.

Caleb has been gone for 10 years. Once a sweet caring boy drastically changed and the sweetness went missing. Caleb is woken up in a middle of an explosion by a man that gives him a baby. He is giving a mission to protect him until his parents come back. A wounded Caleb with no memories take his mission and uses skills he doesn't even remember knowing to keep them safe. He take refuge in a cabin.

Jenna is going with her daughter to check on her grandmother's cabin. She is a single mom, as her husband was killed on an assignment. She has taken over the business and has kept her away from her daughter. Jenna and her daughter find the a surprise when they arrived to the cabin and find a baby and unconcious guy.

Jenna and Caleb work together to keep the baby safe and recover his memories. As they spend more time together, they cannot ignore the attraction they feel for one another. Jenna is funny, caring, and sassy. Caleb is a sweetheart with dangerous skills.

Will Caleb remember his family and who he is? Will Jenna give love a chance after a loss and heartbreak from her husband? You will find out by getting a copy of this awesome book. It has romance, mystery, and funny moments. I loved it.

This is the first book I read by the author and I was in awe. I was mesmerized by the bond she created among the characters. You cannot help but fall in love with the storyline and the characters.

I was a nervous wreak throughout the read. There was so much of suspense and anticipation which made me finish the read in one sitting.

Caleb lost his memory after an explosion but he does not have time to look into his past as he is entrusted with baby Zach and someone wants to kill him. Protecting a baby without any memory isn't easy but you get to know his character with all the conviction he tries to protect Zach.

Jenna has lost a lot in her life but never hesitates to help others in need. And when she finds injured Caleb with Zach she is all in. But they are facing unknown enemies.

It was beautiful how they developed their bond and formed their own family.

It's a read filled with emotions. A book about love, friendship, family, revenge and hope. It's a must read if you are a fan of cowboys, family saga, a amnestic hero and sassy heroin with lots of suspense and drama.
