Holly Webb is one of Britain's best-loved children's writers. She has written over a hundred books for children, and her work has been translated into over thirty languages. Holly lives in Tilehurst, just outside of Reading, Berkshire, with her husband, three children and several cats.
Thought no book could beat The hideaway deer but this one did it!! Loved it so much and I’ve now read 4 of Holly Webb’s books in this style. I have read so far… The Lost Bear Cub, The Dawn Seal, The Hideaway Deer and finally The Wildmeadow Hare. ( in order of favs! ) I also have The Summer Dolphin, The Silver Pony and The Arctic Fox which I haven’t read yet but definitely will soon! Overall, would recommend reading this book or others by Holly Webb!
A wonderful story about a leveret and quite accurate too. Ellie loves rabbits since her mum died as they used to go see them in the meadow together. One day she finds an injured leveret and know she just needs to help him.
