A hellhound and a chipmunk would seem like an unlikely pairing, but as shifters, and as they immediately discover, true mates, that really doesn't matter at all. Worrying about each other's safety, and what they intend to do about that is another matter entirely. Especially when their first meeting ends up being... difficult and messy.
Short, cute and sweet, and the second main entry in the park rangers series, this was a fun read. It was nice to see Charloette get the focus, and see a little more of Gwen, Angie and Emily. Teresa is also a interesting character, their shifter halves always amusing to listen to in their focus. But when true mates are involved, who can blame them.
If you enjoy shifter story, this series is definitely an easy and fun read, and hey, mythical creatures too.
3 stars. Very cute and a fun little read perfect for the fall season. I liked the characters and found their romance to be adorable and there was some interesting things going on plot wise but this was nothing amazing. I liked it well enough though.
