A CRYING BABY? STRANDED ON A CANOE IN THE MIDDLE OF A LAKE?

Jake Mahoney swims through frigid water to rescue an infant, only to wake in the hospital, being told the baby he remembers holding in his arms was never there! Though he makes a physical recovery, he's haunted by the baby's cry. On the verge of losing his mind, he discovers a woman and her infant hiding in a nearby cabin.

Violet Terimoore has spent years running from her past, but now that it's caught up with her, she has nowhere to go but home to the parents who disowned her. The one complication she never expects is falling so hard for the man who rescued her baby and for all practical purposes, Violet herself. She knew making amends with her family would be tough, but nowhere near as terrifying as the deadly danger from which she's trying to hide...

Fell in love with this series

Heartfelt story of family that was separated by proudness and stubbornness! Children erase all that! Great story of forgiveness and the town of acceptance!

Big Bang Baby.

I love the Holiday Heroes books. They’re short enough to read in one day and always have the same cast of characters with the addition of new ones in the story. They are just right for an afternoon of a relaxing day and always turn out just right

Wow! This book had it all!

What I liked: I liked how the story started right away and their was a mystery of what did Jake see out on the lake? Nicely done. I liked that there was the constant when dooming violet and dread of when would they coming back for her and her child. The romance was also light and had just the right amount of spice 🌶.
