Did we read the same book lmao. Why does this have so many 5 star reviews?
Absolutely nothing happened.
The book starts off with the female mc on a date being a complete b!tch because someone asked if she was an accident because she’s 11 years younger than her siblings. This goes on for like an entire chapter, how mad she got about this and then her telling people it was said and how bad it was??? Tf is wrong with that? You probably were an accident, who cares calm down.
The book doesn’t get better because nothing ever happens lol. This was a “fake dating” trope book. There was no fake dating. They were secretly sleeping together 90% of the book and on 2 different occasions it was SUGGESTED they fake date to help the guys image, but it never happened. It was just pre planning for it… even though they were.. like I said, already actually sleeping together.
It was funny too because while discussing the arrangements with his publicist they talked about how she hated her job as a teacher so him paying her for dates would be better. (She inherited 10 mil dollars, if she hated her job… quit.) then a page later they discussed how her being an innocent teacher would look so good for him, so that’s why she was a good candidate because he’d be dating a teacher (even though she already said she should quit and just do the fake dating as a job). THEN another paragraph later “she’s going to become an influencer, even though she hates people invading her privacy”.
So, which one is it, because none of anything is adding up or making sense.
At the end of the book (literally the last 4%) they are yet another character 100% only so they can finally create a l story so that they could end the book in a cliffhanger lmao
I’m not going to read the second book in the series to see how their subpar cliffhanger turns out lol.

I think I've found a new favorite football player to love in Lisa Suzanne's latest installment in her Vegas Aces series- super hot tight end, Ben Olson!! He's the 3rd player to have his own story told and Tight Spot is the first of the 5 books coming your way about him. If you've read the other 2 Vegas Aces series, then you'll already know Ben and the woman who's about to turn his world upside down- sweet Kaylee Dalton...oooooh, what a perfect pairing this is going be...LOVE IT already! Ben's story could stand alone and apart from the other guys but you'll need to read his books in order to find out what he's up to and how Kaylee fits in!!
Kaylee moved to Vegas to be closer to her family who all live there now. She's a newly minted 7th grade teacher and the much younger sister of Aces players, Luke and Jack Dalton. Ben Olsen, her bro Jack's BFF and team mate always seems to be around their house. The entire Dalton clan seems to have claimed him as their own and Kaylee sure does love exchanging flirty, dirty banter with him around the dinner table. Even though he's gorgeous and makes her heart flutter every time she sees him, dating a football player would be the last thing on her mind. Her whole life has revolved around her talented brothers and the game of football- she's soooo over of it.
Ben is a great guy but he's got that one and done thing all locked down. He's a sexy star athlete- a fun loving party boy with a heart of gold, a penchant for strip clubs and carrying on inappropriately. He's been best buds with Jack for years, spends alot of time in the same places as a certain overprotected little sister and he can't help but notice that beautiful Kaylee isn't so little anymore.
The 'bro code' says stay away, but the red hot attraction between Kaylee and Ben can't be snuffed out. So, secret meetups and late night rendezvous become too hard to for them to resist. I'm really not sure how this sticky little ending can be resolved but I'll leave it in Lisa Suzanne's very capable hands to figure that out! She cracks me up with the hilarious 'tight spots' she puts her characters in and it's so much fun watching them dig their way out of trouble!! Tight Hold, book 2- please come to me quick, 'cos I can't take the suspense of waiting for too long. I received an early copy of this book and my review was freely and honestly given.

Of course I devoured this, what's new?! I always read these books by LS like crack cause they are so good and impossible to put down.
I'm loving getting to know Kate. I loved getting to watch her and Ben's attraction grow and the longing they both fought off in the beginning. So good.
I feel so much for Kate. She just wants to be happy and for her life to not be 100% about football, but no such luck. She seems to be stuck with football forever in all aspects of her life. Poor girl.
I'm curious if she'll do anything about this, or how the new, proposed career path will develop.
You already see a minor change in Ben. In his wants, and feelings. But he's fighting what he really wants with what he thinks he's capable of. It's kind of sad. I look forward to seeing how Lisa will deal with his view on relationships and how he will work on his past issues.
Tight Spot was super entertaining. These two are so steamy together. I can't wait to see what happens next for them. As always, this book already had a good amount of drama, and boy, you are already presented with that one character you'll loathe throughout the series. I'm so surprised at who it is and how she's already taking advantage of everyone. Ugh, just thinking about it is making me mad. That freaking cliffy! How will these two get out of this situation? I need answers!

Ben is Jack’s best friend and Kaylee is Jack’s sister. Kaylee had always been the one to try to get her family to get along, and now that she is grown and has a teaching job in Las Vegas her family is together and doing well. I know they all miss their father that died. Since Ben is Jack’s best friend, he is treated as one of the family. It is funny how Ben and Kaylee flirt at the family dinners but know better than to take it any further—or do they? Ben is ten years older than Kaylee and has a bad reputation of being with a lot of women, especially strippers. The owner of the football team wants him to clean up his reputation, but Ben has it in his head that his reputation is what gets him sponsors. I liked that Ben really started thinking about what he really wanted with his life. The trouble is he had a bad taste in his mouth because of his mother and his ex girlfriend. Kaylee’s life has always been about football so she wants something different. I felt bad that Kaylee hated her teaching job, even though I could understand. How do you know what you want when you have always been around football and think what you are doing would make you Dad happy? Then something happens that put a wrench into all the plans. I can’t wait until the next book to see what happens! Ms. Suzanne is an expert at cliff hangers, but so worth it! I loved the book and strongly encourage you to read it.

This is my first book by Lisa Suzanne. Tight Spot is about Ben Olson, a tight end for the Vegas Aces, and Kaylee Dalton, sister of Luke and Jack Dalton. This book offers the right mixture of age-gap, best friend's little sister, a secret fake relationship, and sports romance with killer plot twists. Ben Olson is a 32-year-old bachelor who likes having fun and getting into trouble. Kaylee Dalton is a 22-year-old, she is working her first year as a middle school teacher and wondering what to do with her life. They have tremendous chemistry, hilarious banter, and steamy scenes!
Tight Spot was super enjoyable! This book ends in a cliffhanger. I can't wait to see what happens next for them. Lisa Suzanne is a great writer, and I recommend her books! I received an advance copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Breaking the Rules!!
Wow!! I can’t believe we have yet another hot installment to the Vegas Aces series this time with the all-star tight end Ben Olson. Ben is best friends to the Dalton brothers who are all stars in their own right and which the previous Vegas Aces series were centered around. The Dalton brothers have a little sister who has sure grown up over the years. Yes, there may be a ten-year age difference between Ben and Kaylee but that isn’t stopping a very secret friends with benefits deal. Ben knows he’s breaking all the rules of the bro code but he thinks she’s so worth it.
Let me tell you that this book was hot and so very engaging. I’ve already fallen in love with this couple and I’m so looking forward to the next book in this series. After this ending I am the next book won’t come soon enough!!

If you've been anticipating Ben Olson's story since he was previously introduced.......trust me, you won't be disappointed! This tight end is hot both on and off the field, definitely a wild and crazy guy with an affinity for living up to his reputation - but now that those closest to him are settling down, he's at a bit of a crossroads in his life.
Just like Kaylee Dalton - sister of Jack and Luke, who absolutely hates her teaching job and is wondering what to do with her life. She's looking for love, but when you're the younger sister of two NFL stars, it's hard to find someone who wants you for you - not because of your brothers.
Ben has known Kaylee for years, but now that she's all grown up - he's definitely seeing her in a different light, and Kaylee sure has a mutual attraction for Ben. They have quite the explosive chemistry (hello - the entryway - did not expect that!), and part of that might be because they have to hide what's going on between them from Jack and Luke.......but I think that they both enjoy the other's company because neither of them has to pretend to be anything other than who they truly are.
But now that Ben needs to clean up his image, Ellie and Kate come up with a brilliant idea for Ben and Kaylee to be in a fake relationship for the public. Except......someone we've already come to dislike in a previous story overhears Ben and Kaylee talking......and threatens to out what they've been already hiding.

I Loved reading this book.
This is the beginning of what will be a phenomenal series by Lisa Suzanne.
Ben and Kayley are ELECTRIC Together and a perfect match,even though Ben is in fact Kayley's brother's best friend and team mate.There is a little bit of an age gap between them,Ben has a reputation and is known as a bad boy...and to tame that wild streak they enter into a fake relationship of some sort for the press to feed on.
This is an addictive story and I could not put it down,it kept me entertained throughout.
The beginning of this romance between Ben and Kayley has everything you want within a riveting,sexy,drama filled romance.
I cannot wait to find out what will happen between this bad boy tight end and his best friends sassy sister.
This is a brilliant read that I highly recommend.

5 what-a-start-to-a-series stars!
It's no secret that I love Lisa Suzanne. She writes the best rockstar and sports romances, and the Vegas Aces series has been one of my favorites of the past few years. I've been itching for Ben's story and am so glad it's finally here! This is book 1 in a 5 book series, and you have to be patient...they come every few weeks. But, each one is always worth the wait.

Usually I'm not in to age gap books, but the decade works for these two and for the story. Ben gets to see Kaylee blossom into a woman, and Kaylee, as is the case with most little sisters, has always had a crush on Ben. Their relationship grows in new ways throughout the book, as they get to know each other on a deeper level. But then that deeper level becomes flirting, and flirting becomes... well, you'll have to see. But everything has to remain under wraps because Luke and Jack would absolutely destroy Ben for ever going there. What happens when Ben needs Kaylee to help get his career on track and fix his image? This just convolutes everything because they're seeing each other in private but then they're pretending they are seeing each other in the public (but not in private). We are in for a RIDE and I'm here for it.
A couple more things to know about Lisa. While she can write characters you'll absolutely fall in love with and couples you'll root for, she can write a villain that you'll despise. You will learn in this book who that is for this series.
Finally, if there's one other thing you need to know, it's that Lisa can write one heck of a cliffhanger. Hold on for dear life and hope the next book gets delivered soon!

It's no secret that I love Lisa Suzanne. She writes the best rockstar and sports romances, and the Vegas Aces series has been one of my favorites of the past few years. I've been itching for Ben's story and am so glad it's finally here! This is book 1 in a 5 book series, and you have to be patient...they come every few weeks. But, each one is always worth the wait.

You must wait for two weeks between the books, except for books 1 and 2. As with previous books, I guarantee that the wait is worth it! Tight Spot is about Ben, a tight end for the Vegas Aces, and Kaylee Dalton, sister of Luke and Jack Dalton. Ben is just now seeing Kaylee all grown-up, and Kaylee has always had a secret crush on Ben despite his “brand of man whore ways and frat-boy pranks.” That’s because he is “HOT”! Their relationship develops over family and friend dinners once a week. It takes just a little bit of flirting for a spark to arc a flame between Kaylee and Ben that is so hot it threatens to consume them both. They decide to keep their relationship secret because Luke and Jack would kill Ben. Meanwhile, videos of Ben visiting strip clubs and smashing a beer can on his forehead prompt the Vegas Aces team owner to give him a choice either clean up his bad-boy reputation or lose playtime on the field. The dynamic duo of Ellie (Luke’s wife) and Katie (Jack’s wife) propose that Ben and Kaylee have a fake relationship where he pays her for the summer work of being seen in public together and co-sponsor charity events. Now, this is where it gets sticky. Lisa Suzanne delivers another set of great characters with steamy scenes, witty banter, someone trying to break them up and of course her throw your kindle/book cliffhanger.
Trouble (Ben; the tight end) and Peaches (Kaylee Dalton; the baby sister of the Jack and Luke) start a secret no strings not relationship. Neither of them want something serious. Trouble is just that the bad boy who drinks, parties with a different girl every night, frequents the strip clubs and is best friends and teammates with Jack And Luke Dalton. Peaches is the baby sister of Jack and Luke working as a middle school English teacher wants nothing to do with football or footballers. She has spent her life in the shadows of her famous brothers and father. No one ever asks her what she wants because football is the family business. Everyone in the family just sees her the baby sister. Everyone she meets just wants access to her brothers.
So when her sisters-in-law decide they need to clean up their client Ben’s image of course they think let’s get Ben a fake serious girlfriend. Since her sisters-in-law notice that Kaylee isn’t happy at her job they elect Kaylee as the fake girlfriend.

Tight Spot is the first installment in what is sure to be a wild ride for the Vegas Aces Tight End, Ben Olson and his teammates Jack and Luke Dalton's little sister Kaylee. This is book 1 in a 5 book series that will tell Ben and Kaylee's story from start to finish- so there is a cliffhanger and must be read in order.
In general I am not a fan of cliffhangers- I like my books to wrap up nicely with a HEA, but Lisa has somehow made herself an exception to my reading habits with these Vegas Aces series. Luke Dalton was a charming mystery. Jack Dalton had layers of swooniness I loved peeling back. But now, Ben Olson- ooh this man is all sorts of sexy, dirty trouble with some sweetness on top.
This story will set you up for the direction this story is heading with a new "villian" lurking in the background causing issues for the MCs. I am in love with the dual POV- which is a new spin for the Vegas Aces books- as the first two series were all told solely from the heroine's POV. Ben is an interesting character with some hang ups on relationships while Kaylee is tired of being overlooked and depicted as the sweet and innocent little sister of 2 professional football players. I love the wild between these two but also how effortless their connection feels despite their 10 year age difference.
I am on pins and needles now waiting for book 2, Tight Hold, because the twist at the end was just pure torture to end on!

This is the first book in Vegas Aces: Tight End and it doesn't disappoint. I loved Ben and Kaylee's story. They don't want to want each other ... but they just can't help themselves. I don't want to say too much and wreck it for others. And, of course, there is a cliff-hanger and I can't wait to get my hands on the next book.
Ben plays professional football on the Vegas Aces with his best friend Jack and Jack's brother Luke. He has been a part of their family for 10 years and he has watched their sister Kaylee grow up into a beautiful woman. But she is off limits as his best friend's sister and the fact that he's 10 years older than her. Besides, he's a party guy with a different woman in his bed every night ... he can't be in a relationship with anyone, never mind with Kaylee.
Kaylee is tired of living under her brother's shadows. Guys only want to date her to either get to know her brothers or they want tickets to a NFL game. Then at a family dinner ... wait, is Ben flirting with her? He is very good looking but she doesn't want any part of his wild ways. Not unless they have a friends-with-benefits affair ... yeah ... that could work as long as no one finds out, especially her brothers.

The queen of cliffhangers is back with a new installment of her Vegas Aces series and I'm here for it! It is unnecessary to read the first two stories in this Vegas Aces series but I highly recommend it as characters from those two stories reappear in this one.
I have been waiting for Ben Olson's story since I heard he was getting one. And I love that we get see Jack and Luke's little sister as the love interest in this series. She interested me in their stories. So much as already happened in this first book. We find out Kaylee doesn't want to date football players, hates her job, and wants to make her father proud. And then we find out just how much of a player Ben is but that he is starting to feel like it's time to make a change. But is too late for him to come to that conclusion?
Ben had one too many fun nights and is in need of a PR adjustment and that's where Kaylee comes in. Even if they are already secretly sleeping together, they now have to fake a relationship to help Ben's public relations and possibly help Kaylee figure out what she wants to with her future. But of course it can't be that easy, can it?
I know after reading the previous two stories, this will have a happily ever after but how will they get there? Or will this be different? Only time will tell. Can't wait to see where Ben & Kaylee's story leads us.

Kaylee wants something that she feels is out of reach. Ben has a problem he doesn’t know how to solve. This story had me feeling sorry, wanting to give someone a swift kick, and looking forward to more.
This book is part of the Vegas Aces franchise but you don’t need to read the other books in order to enjoy what the author has created here. But by the end, you may find yourself wondering what you may have missed. One thing Ms. Suzanne does, is feed into my conception of what a football player may do in his down time.
In one way she pays tribute to a young woman starting out in a tough profession. It can be frustrating, and having been a substitute I know some of what the author wrote about. I feel she adds in some realism both with that and how people may see some that work in a high-profile profession.
By the time I got to the end, I knew I couldn’t stop there. Our author can’t leave me on the edge of a cliff without wanting to solve the mystery. What was smart, on her part, was that she has book two coming out at the same time. Only time will tell if this train is going to get to the station or just begin to build up steam.

I really liked this. Such a fun start to Ben and Kaylee’s story! And dual POV?!! Yes please. I love that we finally get to read a Vegas Aces story in both character’s voices.
Kaylee and Ben are hot together. They have this insane chemistry and it’s ridiculous how spicy just a look passed between the two of them can get. These two have a lot of fun together, but are also able to confide in each other and just be their real selves around each other. I just kept thinking how great these two are together the whole time I was reading the book. Now, that being said, is keeping a secret from your family about the two of you hooking up such a great idea? I want you two to be happy and you’re starting out on the wrong foot here……
And of course we have to throw a crazy bitch into this story too. You thought we were done when Michelle left. Oh no, there’s gotta be drama. A crazy cliffhanger of drama. I can’t even believe Kate let this happen!! Die, Shannon, die. Too much? Nah…..

Umm excuse me.. how hot was that dinner scene?! I love the chemistry the mc’s share. And can’t wait to see their relationship evolve. Book one is a tease, sets the stage and begins to bring the spice! It does end on a “cliffhanger” and def leaves you wanting more! Bring on book 2!

I always love Lisa’s writing but I definitely love when a series tangles together. This is book 1 of Ben and Kaylee’s story. Kaylee is the little sister of Jack and Luke and she is always being associated with her brothers, which she hates. She wants to make her own way in the world and find her own identity away from her brothers star football spotlight.
After years of knowing Ben, a pro footballer and best friend of Jack’s, they mutually start up a FWB friendship. This friendship turns into more than that when Kate and Ellie decide that a fake, public relationship will help Ben’s party boy image.
As always, books 1-4 out of 5 will always end in a cliffhanger and this one didn’t disappoint!

Cancel your date night and get nice and cozy because once you start reading, you are not going to be able to put this book down. Tight Spot is Book 1 in the Vegas Aces: The Tight End Series by Lisa Suzanne and she once again pulls you in from the moment you open the book. Not only do we get to learn more about the youngest Dalton, Kaylee, but we also get to hear from Ben Olson himself. The dual POV brings insight into each of the characters like never before and we quickly learn that Kaylee might not be as sweet and innocent as we all thought she was and that there possibly is a different side to Ben. And for all the Luke and Jack Dalton fans, don't worry, you get to catch up with them and the ladies of PCPR as well in what is certain to be an entertaining series. While this is a cliff hanger ending, I've learned from the past series, the wait is worth it.

The first book in the Vegas Aces (Tight End Series) is sure to be a hit with readers! I loved that we get a look at Jack and Kate and Luke and Ellie’s relationships as they are settling into married with children lives. But, beyond that, I loved learning more about Jack and Luke’s baby sister, Kaylee. At least that’s how they see her; the baby sister they need to protect, especially from football players. But Ben Olson, Jacks best friend and a tight end in the Aces sees a beautiful, appealing, smart young woman. He’s known her since she was a teenager, but suddenly she’s all he sees!
And she’s looking at him in the exact same way!
Hang on for the ride of your lives because if history is reliable, things are about to get crazy!

Tight Spot by Lisa Suzanne was such a great read. I was beyond excited for this book after being introduced to Ben in the previous Vegas Aces series! All I have to say is Lisa Suzanne DOES NOT disappoint! This book reeled me in from the beginning. I was so excited to explore this character more from what was seen in the past. I also loved getting to know Kaylee more as we also met her in Luke and Jack's (her bothers) series previously. This novel does contain the age gap and brother's best friend/best friend's sister tropes! And I was here for it!
I really enjoyed the first installment of this series and cannot wait to read more! That cliffhanger really left me craving more! I cannot wait to read Tight Hold and see what happens next!!
