About the author

I have been writing since high school, but truthfully never thought it would go any further than a few short stories hidden deep within my laptop. It wasn't until my family moved away from everything we knew that I started writing stuff worth sharing. Now, my husband, three kids, our plethora of animals, and I live in the Midwest. When I'm not running around like your stereotypical soccer mom (sans the minivan) I am writing the type of stories I have always secretly treasured. Love stories with a sexy alpha male and a strong submissive female.

I had a feeling things were going to happen at some point but... I was not ready for the events that played out on the pages of this book. We are immersed into the life of cousin 2 of 3 and if she thought she had issues before, that will be nothing compared to her life moving forward. The threat of Gran's spoon gets to be a little repetitive for me but reading about their family makes you want to sit and enjoy a plate of the matriarchs pancakes with the girls. Book one got me interested in the family, book two has me invested in the girls lives and wellbeing, I can't wait to see what unfolds in book three!

Shocked

That last chapter and epilogue gutted me!!!!

I had all these pretty words to say about Stan and Pax and Cori....but now I'm a bumbling mess.

I will say this....one surprise made me squeal with joy, one twist I swear I had a gut feeling about and that second twist I will NEVER forgive Rachel and Amilia about.

Now I'm going to go ball my eyes out while I wait for Millie's book.

This book was super good and super plot twisty. I think Constance and Pax may be my favorite couple from this series. He is so very swoony. They are both doing everything they can to protect little Cori. Again, this book is hard to review without spoilers, so just trust me and read it. It's suspenseful, sweet, witty, sad and full of all the good stuff that makes up this family. Can't wait for book three!

This book is chefs kiss. There really are no other words to describe it, you need to read it, just be sure tomread Scintillation first. Youll fall in love with the characters, as I have. Its like one big family.
