The late, British film director, Jefferson Blake left behind his indelible mark on cinema, specifically, on the horror genre. His grindhouse films have gone down in cinematic history.
He is still emulated and revered. Feared and despised. His work touched millions. The man himself was an enigma, a reclusive genius, and his work will forever enrich – or tarnish – literature, art and society.
The man behind the camera may be dead, but his legacy lives on, in many forms.
These are some of the many tales that swirl around the legend that is Jefferson Blake, the ripple effects of his lasting evil.
These are the real stories, of real people, affected by Blake…
This was a great read. It's fascinating to read a book and learn about people at the same time. This is one of those types of reads, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Not only does it have a great storyline with great characters but you are treated to different characters opinions and objectives. Definitely recommend and I'm looking forward to reading Sam's version of the Monster House.
I have loved everything Grindhouse and keeping up with Jefferson's life. Writers Retreat and Monster House were my 2 faves. This is a cool addition to his namesake. I really enjoyed how West took an idea and evolved it into something much larger than the original stories. 4 solid stars for this one
