Brea Pompeo’s carefully constructed life plan went out the window eight months ago, when her fiancé bailed on her just hours before their destination wedding. Left to pick up the pieces of her broken heart, she’s poured herself into her work. When she meets a man whose outlook on life is to fly by the seat of his pants, her initial instinct is to run in the opposite direction… but bullet points and structure didn’t work out for her before, so maybe she should try something new.
Rush Donovan runs his extreme sports agenting business from his laptop, plugged into whatever outlet he can find, in whatever locale he’s in at the time. He limits trips to the office to a few times a year, because who wants to be stuck in one place? It’s on one of these trips to the office that he meets a woman that makes him want to stick around. Too bad she’s his complete opposite, and getting Brea to let down her hair will be the most extreme sport he’s faced yet.
When Rush presents Brea with a challenge to say yes to everything for one month, she can’t resist his charm or the idea that saying yes to Rush means seeing more of him. Will these opposites attract, or will Brea discover that living life with no structure is too far outside her comfort zone?
Steamy Romance Author Love, Lust, and a little Chaos
Happily ever after... with a little bit of chaos and a lot of heat between the sheets!
Jessalyn Jameson writes sexy, troubled guys and the strong women who love them. The road to happily ever after may not be easy, but it is always worth the wild ride.
When she’s not writing, you can usually find her with a drink in hand and a far-off look in her eyes, always dreaming up her next chaotic couple. Jessalyn resides in Sunny Southern California with her husband, their teen daughter, and a sweet -but-wild rescue dog.
I rated this four and a half. Brea is a workaholic and depends on plans, lists and routine. When there's a lot of noise upstairs she goes to complain, meets a hot guy and they establish that she hates banging. Rush asks her for dinner and she refuses, but a friend of hers secretly invites him to Thanksgiving. After her ex got it on with her therapist she is certainly not planning to take up any other hot guys. Her family and friends think she could do with some loosening up and encourage her to consider Rush as a possible partner in that sort of thing. Later he shows up with a bucket list of fun, weird or scary things to do with him, and cajoles her to accept the dare and spend the time up until Christmas saying yes to things. The first event is a pretty benign charity gala but they also face some of their fears while taking up the challenges. Rush is afraid of two things, heights and commitment, and he keeps telling himself that he doesn't want a relationship while clearly wooing her.
You know how just about every romance story has that nasty fight and a painful break-up at about 75%, followed by a desperate chase through an airport, begging and groveling and a big romantic gesture, and in the end it turns out that he wasn't cheating, it was just a misunderstanding that they could have cleared up straight away if she'd answered his phone calls? Yeah, there is none of that here. This was a no-angst story with not a lot of drama, just fun dialogue, creative dates and two people falling in love somewhat reluctantly but inevitably. I enjoyed it. Steam level: some sexual content.

This is book 4 of The Brunch Babes Brea about Brea and rush. Brea is a workaholic and depends on plans, lists, and routines. Rush is an adrenaline junkie who does not stay in one place for any length of time. They are complete opposites and have a lot of ground to cover together. GET MERRY is the fourth book in The Brunch Babes series and it is another wonderfully entertaining addition to the series. If you love angst with a lot of laugh out loud moments then the story of Brea Pompeo and Rush Donovan delivers. Brea is overworked, brokenhearted and about to get a very big surprise in life. Rush is an adrenaline junkie who barely breathes in one place before he is off to the next. But when these two opposites meet it a whirlwind of instant attraction that swirls around them and takes them on the trip of a lifetime.....to love and an sweet HEA.

This book is about Bree and Rush. Bree is a CEO who is a workaholic that thrives on lists, structure and order. She has been badly hurt in the past so shys away from any romantic situation. Rush is an adrenaline junkie who does not stay in one place for any length of time. They are complete opposites and have a lot of ground to cover together. This story has no major breakup moment rather them both working through their own issues together. This book is an addictive read that I couldn’t put down. I thoroughly enjoyed reading it.

Brea is list, detailed and totally planned out oriented. Rush is a total adrenaline junkie who has a business of setting up events for people around the world. On a dare from the neighbor, she will do the situations he sets up for one month. I am so like her and would not get that far out of my comfort zone, but it was fantastic to read and think about someone else doing it all. The storyline is action packed with events and situations, fun banter, interesting scenarios, drama and a bit of danger. Loved their chemistry when they just let it happen. Great ending. This book was exceptional with realistic characters living in a world full of romance and drama. Their journey is enthralling with humor, passion, desire, romance, and more. This holiday themed book is humorous and I recommend reading this book by an extraordinary author that knows how to captivate her reader’s attention and hearts with romance and humor. I received this book for a fair and honest review via BookSprout.
This book is a holiday romantic comedy. The characters Brea and Rush have a great connection at first Brea was putting Rush at a distance. Rush present Brea with a challenge he want her to say yes to everything for one month can she agree to have life outside the box or was she stay in her comfort zone. This book is a page turner with a happy ending.

This is the 3rd book I've read written by Jessalyn Jameson; I can’t wait to read more of her books.
This is the 4th book in the Brunch Babes Series; it is a stand-alone book. The story is about Brea & Rush; her fiancé dumps her house before their wedding. She throws herself into her work when they meet. They are total opposites but still feels the pull to him.

Gosh, I absolutely loved this story. I loved that there wasn’t a ton of angst, just enough to want to keep reading and see what’s going to happen next. Rush and Brie made me laugh out loud and man, I needed those laughs! Rush’s determination and Brie’s resistance made their banter that much better, actually it just took everything to the next level. I literally did not want to put this book down and stayed up way too late to finish it but it was so very worth it.
The story of Brea and Rush. They are opposites - she is very organised and loves to make lists, so she thinks Rush is too laid back. He wants to get her to give him a chance, so makes a list to try and convince her. Loved both characters. Looking forward to more from this author.. Super sweet, soft, swoony love story. Slow burn with lots of sizzle. Brea is a control freak in the moat loveable way and Rush is just the right balance of wild yet stable, making them a perfect pair. I've yet to be disappointed with Jessalyn's stories and this one was no exception!
I fell in love with Rush and Brea! This book had me smiling from page one and all the way to the end. You get to see all of your favorite "Brunch Babes", which I love about this series. I can't wait to read the next book.
I really enjoyed the characters and their love story was just the right amount of complicated. Their tale was wholesome and realistic, not to mention adorable. So glad I found this author and this series!
Jessalyn’s writing is fun sexy and how most of us want to experience love. We all deserve the love of our lives and bulldozing past our less than favorable past to a better story. It’s our Divine right. Don’t you think it’s time we own it!?
This was absolutely delightful. Opposites attract. The banter. The laughs. Best of all, no third act break up! Just two adults finding love. Really enjoyed reading this book.
