As my first time reading this author, this story definitely did NOT disappoint! I felt so many different emotions for and alongside Lilith throughout this series. The twist with one of her men was fantastic and I definitely wasn’t expecting it to happen. Reading the way that her men came together not only throughout this series but through the turning point was done fantastically. The strength and support that not only her men, but some of the loyal side characters was perfect for what Lilith needed to make sure things were taken care of. Great read, highly recommend.

What a ride

This series will have you sucked in within the first chapter, and the vortex of Lilith’s journey keeps you under until the very last pages. Lilith is sassy & fun and creates a great dynamic with the guys. I also enjoyed the prequel “crimson’s death” at the end of the series.
If you haven’t picked it up yet, do it now!

Absolutely amazaballs trilogy

I loved Lillith and her guys. This is an amazing story, with vampires, demons, angels and a twisted prophecy that leads to betrayal, death,, rebirth and more. The twist in this story keep you guessing until the end. S*xy and full of action definitely a complete box set you will enjoy.

The Crimson Demon series by Lyra Winters is an amazing debut of the reverse-harem genre for Lyra. I was hooked from the first book which is Crimson Tears. She continues in Crimson Kiss and Crimson Soul. This is a reverse-harem series with vampires, demons, angels, witches and more. As I am doing a review of the whole series, I am moving my plot summary to the end of this review as it will have spoilers.

My favorite thing about this series is that it makes you question everyone’s loyalties and intentions except the harem. Everyone can be against them. Everyone has their own plans on how to obtain power and be in control and you don’t know who to trust. However, Lilith’s men have and would kill to protect her and she’s the same for them. They want nothing but her happiness and safety. They encourage her rise to power and all the steps it takes to get there. Thaddeus makes it questionable but that’s because he’s stubborn even when it’s obvious he likes and loves her.

There are two things I disliked about this series. The first one is the blood magic part of this book. I felt like more could have been worked with this. We don’t find out about Lilith’s blood magic until 70% in the third book and afterwards it felt rushed. The fight scenes with blood magic between Lilith and Mystia seemed very “I did this ha! Well, I counteracted it. Ha!” I just felt like the whole blood magic thought just needed more development if not its own book. The second one is that it took until the last 20% of the third book for there to be a spicy scene with the entire group. Most reverse harems have combined scenes before this. As this is a debut of reverse-harem for Lyra, I think this is why. Her other series Fate Hollow Academy does not wait this long. (Amazing series btw)

I would give the series overall a 4 out of 5 stars. My favorite was the first book out of the entire series. This has love, betrayal, some spice, and fantasy all rolled into one series.

Lilith Whitlock is your average 20-year-old human who has always felt off but loved by her family and cat, Jax. Until one fateful car accident and she is saved and turned by three incredibly attractive vampires known as the Draven Clan. The Draven Clan must teach Lilith how to use her new vampiric abilities before going before the Order of the Void. If she does not pass their test, her new vampire life will be ended short. Lilith learns she can use mind control even on other vampires, control emotions of others especially lust, in incredibly strong and quick and has an insane level of control around blood. Blaise helps her learn how to fight and in doing so the reader learns about Blaise’s harsh past. Kai helps her learn control over her emotions and blood lust. Thaddeus is the least thrilled at first about Lilith but is the leader of the clan. Lilith battles not seeing her family at first until she sneaks out and her human boyfriend, Corbin, sacrifices himself for her. This leads to Lilith mastering her powers and passing the Order of the Void’s test. Lilith learns between the test and fighting a cruel vampire leader, Viktor, that she is prophesied to be the Crimson Demon. Lilith finds out that her cat Jax is actually a demon named Aziel who loves her, and she instantly loves him back. Lilith and her harem fight Viktor but he escapes. During this fight, her demon side is activated. Lilith and her harem move to Hell without much say-so from her harem. Lilith obtains her memories from her previous incarnation and has to grapple with that past trauma and life and this few decades old life. She learns that Viktor is worse than originally thought and he wants to intentionally mess up the natural balance and rule Hell. While this is all happening, the boys are battling within each other on this new relationship of sharing Lilith especially with the demon Aziel. They also must learn how to live in Hell as they’ve only ever lived in the living realm. Lilith fights Viktor again along with her harem which results in some unexpected deaths. These deaths trigger Lilith’s angel side to be activated. Lilith saves her loved one and then is quickly abducted to Heaven. Lilith’s father, the King of the Southern Border of Hell, says that this is so that Lilith can learn her new angelic powers. The Draven Clan does not find this acceptable and makes a blood oath with the King against Aziel’s and Titan’s suggestion so that they can see Lilith. This prolongs Lilith’s rescue as the blood oath made it so that the Clan couldn’t go to Heaven for a month. During this month, Lilith is forced to only feed off Gabriel, her ex-fiancé and the man who killed her before. Lilith starves herself several times during her capture as she does not trust Gabriel and doesn’t want to feed from him. This is compounded by the fact that she finds out her family and best friend all committed suicide as was suggested by Gabriel. Gabriel and Lilith eventually find out a blood witch has been tricking them to not only kill Lilith but to steal all her powers so that the blood witch can bring back her coven. This results in several fights, lots of blood magic between Lilith and the blood witch. Lilith is rescued by her men and go back to Hell to confront her father. Lilith finds out that her father has been in cahoots with one of the Angel Queens to use Lilith to kill all the other leaders and be the only ones in control. Lilith obliviates her father after her father kills the Angel Queen. The story ends with Lilith becoming the newest Queen of Hell and a happily ever after of fixing hell and loving her men for an eternity.

God this was great

Ok so I read Fate Hollow Academy and it was wonderful, so I figured I would try this series by the same author. She did not disappoint!!!!!!! Complex character development, a lovable kick butt FMC who goes after what she wants but also devotes her time to helping heal the hearts of others and so much spicy plot. Truly I never saw those twists and turns coming!

Crimson Tears: 3.5 ⭐️ Lilith is suddenly turned into a vampire after crashing into an escaped hell creature. She winds up with clan Draven, 3 vampires; Thaddeus, Kai and Blaise. They train her as she’s being hunted by an ancient vamp and this council wants to use her as bait. Later we meet Aziel when we learn her true identity as princess of hell reincarnated.

Crimson Kiss: 3⭐️ So Lilith is the princess of Hell, her jealous ex betrothed Gabriel killed her in her previous life and her ass of a father is fine with it. She and the guys get closer as time goes on and they prepare to take down the evil vamp who’s been getting stronger. Lilith is somewhat different now that she’s remembering her past but I can’t really call it character growth. Besides taking each of the vampire guys to get closure for their pasts we don’t get a ton of character development there either. The plot rolled along at a decent pace.

Crimson Soul: 3⭐️ Gabriel has captured and imprisoned Lilith in heaven with some kind of magic cuff to drain her powers. Her father locked the vamps into a blood oath to remain in heaven for a month and Aziel has totally lost it. Gabriel has a bit of a redemption arc in this book but after reading the prequel, I kinda wish he hadn’t even got that much. Her father was a total douche and deserved worse than he got for sure. Mostly I feel bad for the number of betrayals she experiences. I wanted to like this book and series more than I did. I feel like I just wanted more interaction with all the characters. I wanted to see the dynamics between the guys grow and develop among other things. The sass and banter from the first book was definitely reduced as the series went on which was a bummer. This series wasn’t bad at all but it shows how much this author has grown.

Fantastic boxset. Love this series. Amazing read! I could not put this down. I was trying hard to anticipate what would happen next and I couldn't be more wrong at every time.
Lilith Whitlock has never been scared of Death and is strangely comforted by thoughts of hell, since the nearly drowning at her Brothers 21st Birthday party!
One late night ends in disaster when the thing of nightmares comes out of the darkness causing an accident that Lilith cannot hope to survive and what happens next is the beginning of the end of her life.
This is a fantastic read and love that it is all in one boxset

An interesting telling of Lilith

This was a really great series!

It was a unique take on the supernatural world as well as Lilith.

Lots of humor, heat, twists and turns, as well as a few moments that will make you either cry or want to cry.

There are betrayals, but never by her men. There is also some angst, especially between Lilith and Thad.

Overall it is a fantastic read!

This was an awesome trilogy with the right amount of spice and a heavy plot. I enjoyed diving into the world of Lilith and her men and her journey with becoming a vampire and queen of hell. The development between the characters relationships are set at the perfect pace and learning about there past is set at the perfect time.

binge read

Oh after reading the prequel I’ll never be able to like Gabriel. I feel like he didn’t suffer enough and there is no redemption for someone like him. But I liked the first 3 books. Binge read.

It's ok

Sorely lacking in character development, I couldn't get in sync with any of the characters to care about the story. I couldn't finish it.
