Powerful beings you’ve never seen before, in an urban fantasy/romantic fantasy series like no other. Meet the emrys—not your typical immortals. No shifters or sparkly vampires here.
Lost Emrys Chronicles boxed set contains two novels: Shattered and Scourged.
Shattered
Under a fae spell, Anerah ignites her powers of light for the first time and meets Cystenian, an immortal Son of Light. Together, they pass through a portal to his world to flee from the fae and their magic. Despite entering the other world, Anerah wakes at home and discovers the portal is closed and Cystenian’s gone. She’s determined to find a way back to him. Unfortunately, Cystenian has secrets of his own, secrets compelling enough to make him wish he’d met Anerah under different circumstances—or not at all.
Scourged
The Dark Master promised Cystenian what he’d once had, a life with his soulmate, but as the Vessel, Cystenian is unable to love. When Anerah comes back into his life, he isn’t prepared for how her presence twists his soul. Despite her disdain for him, she is a bright light in his world ruled by darkness, and even though he can’t love her, he won’t let her go.
E.E. EVERLY once trampled through the Appalachian woods and built forts in bramble bushes. She loves the sun in winter and the rain in summer. She believes in miracles, the power of love, and magic. Other worlds do exist, and her writing opens portals to them. Cake is always to be savored, and her soul animal is a cat. Meow.
Thank goodness this is a boxed set, because I would have died if I had to wait to find out what happened to Cystenian. Goodness. Sheesh! Loved it. I loved how tortured Cystenian was in book two. Okay, I loved how messed up his and Anerah’s relationship was in book one. Really crazy how these emrys can bond, but it makes for some interesting entanglements. A must read.
I love this series! I think Anerah and Cystenian are my favorite mc's that I've written about. "Carry You" by Ruelle is Anerah's theme song. Check it out. I picture her father saying the words, "You are not alone. I've been here the whole time singing you a song. I will carry you." If you read Shattered you'll understand. This song also works for Cystenian in Scourged. "Can you lead me to the light?" Wow. I want to read the whole thing again. lol.
When I wrote this book, I pictured Sydney's dad (a young version) from the TV show Alias as Anerah's father. So fiercely protective. So proper. Willing to do anything for those he loves.
I hope you enjoy this series as much as I enjoyed writing it!
